Azim looks up to Salman, SRK and Aamir Khan
To make his character in "Qasam Se Qasam Se" appear realistic, Azim frequented call centre offices to absorb the finer nuances of the people working there. "It was quite a relevation for me as an actor.
I witnessed not only people's mannerisms but also the activities they indulge in during the break hour. Looking into the mirror, some guys would be busy ruffling their hair and taking care of their looks, while some would busy binging.
And there would others catching up with family and friends over their cell phones. This has helped shaped my character in the film.
" Azim feels that all our veteran actors were keen observers and would translate that on screen. "Whether it were the legendary actors like Dilip Kumar or the late Raj Kapoor or Dev Anand , they were schools in themselves.
I am a great fan of Salman Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan and look at them as a student who looks upon his guru. I am mastering the art of acting watching their films," he smiles

My absolute must haves are browns, bronze and red shades of make-up, as they give my skin tone a very nice shine and suit me very well. I always carry these colors in my bag because I never know when I might show up at an event and feel completely under-dressed.
Also, any of these shades really adds that extra glow."

(less)I never thought I'd be a desirable woman: Sameera Reddy
"My name in the list means a lot to me. As as a young girl, I never thought even in my wildest dreams that I would become a desirable woman.
I yearned for a perfect body as I was ugly duckling in school. But now that I have entered films, I believe that beauty is hidden in the imperfections of people and it all depends on how you use them.
That's my definition of desirable and I am glad to have made it to the list," says Sameera. The actor is basking in the success of her last Tamil release opposite Madhavan and has Padma Shri Priyadarshan's Tezz to look forward to.
Sameera has now decided that she will do a mix of performance-oriented and glamorous characters on screen, something that Simran and Jyothika did in Kollywood. So is the report true that Sameera wants to become the next Simran and Jyothika? "You cannot become another person.
I had said that I look up to both Simran and Jyothika, who had a mixed bag of roles- performance-oriented and cute characters. Both had their own fan following .
They are my role models and I want to have a beautiful lineup of characters like them," says the actor
(less)Sherlyn Chopra likes being unconventional
Be it politics, cinema, sports, business or any other arena, women across the globe including India are in great form mentally, physically and consciously to undertake greater responsibilities and tougher challenges that are often encountered on paths less travelled." Sherlyn is also happy that she has gone from being just a pin-up girl to an entrepreneur.
Says she, "The rapid metamorphosis in my case would not have been possible had the mindsets of the majority of the people in the Hindi film industry continued to be goverened by prejudices. I look upto entrepreneurs who command respect and attention for daring to think out of the box and act accordingly.
They do not have a herd mentality. What they have is unadulterated creativity which is set on fire by courage.
" Naming films like " The Dirty Picture ", " Erin Brokovich ", " No One Killed Jessica "," The Black Swan " as cinema that has changed the way we think, Sherlyn says, "Unconventionality is no longer a taboo. It is being applauded and celebrated by both the classes and the masses.
The pulse of the youth is racing towards liberalisation. And I'm truly loving it.
" Asked why she decided to give us photographs that resembled those of the " Jism 2 " campaign, the actor quips, "I have pushed the envelope by choosing to cover my nakedness with nothing but pure consciousness."

(less)Flash mob greets Imran at New York University
"I had a blast at NYU. Everyone was so enthusiastic, they put on a very polished, confident show, and the surprise flash mob at the end was perfectly executed.
My best wishes to all the students involved," Imran said in a statement. The students had been practising for the performance for over two weeks, ahead of Imran's visit to New York as part of the promotional tour.
"As the president of NYU Dillagi, a Bollywood dance team, I knew we had to have simpler steps that the general public would be able to do and we sent videos out to the public. I thought that the flash mob came out even better than expected since people kept joining the mob throughout the sequence and it definitely surprised those that did not know of it ahead of time," Mohit Chhatpar, coordinator of the flash mob, said.
"It was really fun to be doing a flash mob and having Imran among us was all the more fun. He was very sporting and interacted with the students.
We are excited about this movie as well and are glad he could come and be among us to talk about his movie," he added. The Dharma Productions' film, also starring Kareena Kapoor, is set to hit theatres Feb 10.

(less)Mohit Suri to direct Aashiqui 2 with fresh faces
"It's been 20 years for that film. So, obviously now I will have to upgrade this story.
It will be the same realistic love story but with a modern theme," Suri told IANS. Aashiqui won critical accolades after its release at the time.
It also catapulted the careers of lead actors Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, who forayed into Bollywood with this film. Suri is also set to hunt for new faces for the sequel.
"I will cast fresh faces with a new boy and a new girl," said Mohit. While some are referring to Aashiqui 2 as a sequel, others are calling it a remake.
However, producer Mukesh Bhatt of Vishesh Films sets the record straight. "It is neither a sequel nor a remake.
It can be said as the musical series of Aashiqui ..

Anil Kapoor: Mission in action?
Now, however, the marketing machinery is working overtime to promote this latest spy thriller in India by cashing in on Anil's popularity. Here we have some never-seen-before stills from the film featuring Anil in a white tuxedo and Hollywood actress Paula Patton in an elegant green evening gown.
Anil plays a suave Indian business tycoon, Brij Nath . In this scene, he's trying to seduce Jane Carter, a Bond-girl type bombshell played by Patton, who slaps him and walks off.
This marketing blitzkrieg by distributers Viacom 18, they are hoping, will silence all the talk about Anil having a small role in the thriller. Nice move, guys, you chattano!
(less)I want to be around for 50 years: Anil Kapoor
"No one has the kind of success that I do," says Mr India, who thinks that having a lot of films in your kitty and accumulating wealth shouldn't be the sole measure for 'success'. THE GAME PLAN - LONGEVITY Friday afternoon at a suburban five star, Kapoor is busy promoting MI4: Ghost Protocol and yet people around him want the man to say 'Jhakaas' in his unique 'bindaas' sort of way.
He remains unfazed. "I am doing roles that suit my age and try to look fresh and young in those roles.
I don't want people to tell me that I should act my age. I stopped playing 20-somethings myself.
I have always done things ahead of times," Kapoor says. And that's his plan for 'longevity'.
"That's my game," says the man adding, "I don't want to be a star for just four or five years. I want to be around for 40-50 years.
To remain a star, you should do roles that are ahead of the times. Youngsters should be able to relate to it.
" What's more, he doesn't even regret not running around trees or playing the masala hero anymore. "There are younger actors who can do these things.
Let them do that." STAYING YOUNG, THANKS TO KIDS Kapoor understands the young.
Partly because of his children. "Sonam is much bigger than me.
At times when I go to an event with her, I have to stand aside. The media wants her.
I was quite taken aback. But I also feel happy.
..
proud. Kucch toh baat hai," says the doting parent.
And it's not just Sonam. "Rhea is successful too.
My son is raring to go. I feel I have come closer to my kids.
We discuss stuff as friends. Sonam helps me with my wardrobe.
She was born with a great aesthetic sense. Perhaps she has got it from my wife," Kapoor adds.
TOM LOVED INDIA About time to get hungry. Ever-energetic Anil goes to the counter and orders grilled chicken sandwiches for everyone.
Settling back, he starts discussing his big Hollywood break and 'genuine' friend Tom. The man who did not even know who Danny Boyle was before he was offered a role in the filmmaker's Slumdog Millionaire reveals that he did not intend to become 'big or small'.
He just wanted to work. And today, he is a part of one of the biggest Hollywood franchise Mission Impossible.
Plus, he is friends with the man on the mission - Ethan Hunt aka Tom Cruise. Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't Cruise or the creators of MI4 who wanted the actor to grace India.
It was Kapoor who convinced his co-star. "Tom never asked me about India.
I constantly kept telling him about the positive aspects of India. Mauka mile toh ghus jao bas.
India bolte bolte. I made him believe that India is the best industry across the globe.
I told him about the fantastic people here. The beautiful girls.
The great actors and filmmakers. I told him 1.
1 billion people love him," reveals Kapoor. And thankfully, his prodding helped.
Tom loved India. "Tom told me, 'All my friends are jealous of me'.
He sent pictures of him at the Taj Mahal to his friends in Hollywood. To make them jealous.
For Tom, everything was 'fun'. Media - fun.
Fans - fun! He connects with the fans. He talks to them about their family.
He did not want to miss out on it," adds an excited Kapoor

(less)Downey Jr was grumpy during Sherlock Holmes shoot
But he was disappointed because the action scenes were left to the end in the second installment, reported Contactmusic. "We had a brutal schedule last time, but it was so much fun, and we were kind of wondering if we could catch this thing on fire and make it work.
And pretty early on we figured we were on to something. "And this time around, we only really started the action last week, which had me a little grumpy for a minute," said Downey.
Director Guy Ritchie admitted that there was a "lot of wafflage" in the early days of the filming, while Downey's co-star, Jude Law, who plays Holmes' sidekick Dr Watson, said the shooting schedule on the sequel was entirely different to the first film. "We shot a lot of waffle straight away.

(less)Web Exclusive: Why Dhanush is as endearing as he is
Despite 2011 being the year that he will probably cherish for the rest of his life, he remains true to his recently updated profile on Twitter: "actor and now suddenly a singer ?? haha well ..
thats about it." The Tamil star and his pretty wife Aishwarya were at NDTV for a good part of the early afternoon today, recording for the show Your Call with NDTV's Editorial Director, Sonia Singh.
Once done, we asked Dhanush what makes him so down-to-earth, despite winning a National Award earlier this year and rounding it off with a chartbusting song which has managed to do the impossible -make the North-South twain meet. There's actually a Punjabi version of a Tanglish song - it doesn't get bigger than this.
Except that Why this Kolaveri Di is being hummed in many parts of the world, smashed records on YouTube and has aired on CNN in the US too. Kolaveri couple Dhanush, Aishwarya at NDTV Faced with the question, Dhanush pauses, even as those around him remind him of yet another recording.
"I am grounded," he says softly, "because I know that all this is temporary. I know it will pass.
I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I came up the hard way," he added after another soft pause, reminded perhaps of professional setbacks in 2004-2005, when three films were box-office duds. The 2004 Tamil romance Dreams directed by his father Kasthuri Raja, remains as many say, Dhanush's biggest flop so far.
But all that has changed in 2011. His first release this year, the Tamil drama Aadukalam , won six awards at the National Film Awards, including a coveted Best Actor for him.
Mayakkam Enna , a Tamil romance directed by brother Selvaraghavan, which released last month, is a hit. He continues to work with directors in the family with 3 , directed by wife Aishwarya, from which the song that's created history.
It's also changed Dhanush's life forever in a way he cherishes. During the recording for the show he was asked several questions on what it felt like being the son-in-law of legendary actor Rajinikanth.
We asked if he felt burdened to be a relative of the great Thalaivar. "It is a huge burden," he says, "which is why I am so thankful that this has happened.
" The success of his films and the huge success of Why this Kolaveri Di , has empowered Dhanush to step out of the shadow of the legendary Rajinikanth - he is now Dhanush - and for that he is grateful. Just like his tweets, he signs off with "God Bless.
" Perhaps it helps him remember each time, the good luck that has now come his way, the hard way. It's what makes him an endearing human being first, the star, second.
Those hoping to see him in Bollywood would have to wait awhile. Despite the speculation set off during his weekend in Mumbai when he visited the Bachchans and was seen at the special screening of Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol , with a bevy of Bollywood stars, he hasn't signed on the dotted line anywhere yet.
"No nothing yet" he tells us, though not ruling it out completely. Now that would be something.
Till then Dhanush K Raja has plenty of blessings to be thankful for. Tweet
(less)Is Scientology row behind J Lo-Anthony split?
The other big reason that could have led to the split is rumored to be J-Lo's commitment to Scientology as the singer, who called off her seven-year marriage to Marc Anthony last month, was hoping to send the couple's three-year-old twins Max and Emme to a specialist Scientology school. But Anthony, also 42, wasn't so keen on the idea, reported Daily Mail .
The religion is now being speculated to be a bone of contention between the two. Singer Jennifer Lopez is apparently close friends with Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes, who are also staunch Scientologists.
She said in a recent interview that she "wouldn't mind" having her twins educated by the church, adding: "I just wish that people wouldn't judge it without knowing what it is." A source was quoted saying: "Jennifer and Marc couldn't see eye-to-eye on the subject.
She's always been more into the church than him. He wasn't a huge fan and it caused problems.
" It was earlier reported that the singer duo of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were taking professional business meetings at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre in Hollywood, California, in late 2006. It was also rumored that Lopez and Anthony became Scientologists during that period with the help of Angelo Pagan, the husband of The King of Queens actress and Scientologist Leah Remini.
"I'm not a Scientologist, I was raised Catholic. But it's funny the way people come at it.
To me it's so strange. These are some of the best people I've ever met in my life,"Jennifer Lopez had said to a television channel prior to the surfacing of the reports.
She added, "My dad has been a Scientologist for 20 years. He's the best man that I know in my life and so, it's weird to me that people want to paint it in a negative way.
" Jennifer Lopez has been in high-profile relationships with Ojani Noa, Sean Combs, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck, before her marriage to singer Marc Anthony. Tweet
(less)Viola Davis, Jean Dujardin win lead honours at SAG awards
Winners Davis and Spencer won Sunday as black maids going public with uneasy truths about their white employers in 1960s Mississippi. Jean Dujardin won the lead-actor honour for The Artist as a silent-film superstar whose career crumbles when the sound era arrives.
Christopher Plummer of the father-son tale Beginners and Octavia Spencer of the Deep South drama The Help won supporting-acting honors at Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards, firming up their Academy Awards prospects next month. Stars on the red carpet Plummer, who won for his role as an elderly dad who comes out as gay after his wife's death, would become the oldest actor ever to win an Oscar at age 82, two years older than Jessica Tandy when she won best actress for Driving Miss Daisy .
"I just can't tell you what fun I've had being a member of the world's second oldest profession," Plummer said. Spencer, a veteran actress who had toiled in small TV and movie parts previously, had a breakout role in The Help as a brassy maid joining other black housekeepers to reveal uneasy truths about their white employers in 1960s Mississippi.
"I'm going to dedicate this to the downtrodden, the under-served, the underprivileged, overtaxed -- whether emotionally, physically or financially," Spencer said. On the television side, Alec Baldwin won best actor for a comedy show for 30 Rock , and Betty White won for best actress in a comedy series for Hot in Cleveland .
Before the official ceremony, the Screen Actors Guild presented its honor for best film stunt ensemble to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 . The TV stunt award went to Game of Thrones .
Nominees for the lead-acting honors, which were to come toward the end of the ceremony, include Globe winners George Clooney for the family drama The Descendants , Meryl Streep for the Margaret Thatcher tale The Iron Lady , Michelle Williams for the Marilyn Monroe story My Week with Marilyn and Jean Dujardin for the silent film The Artist . Spencer's The Help co-star Viola Davis also is in the running, along with Leonardo DiCaprio for the J.
Edgar Hoover biography J. Edgar , Brad Pitt for the baseball story Moneyball and Glenn Close for the Irish drama Albert Nobbs .
The winners at the SAG ceremony typically go on to earn Oscars. All four acting recipients at SAG last year later took home Oscars -- Colin Firth for The King's Speech , Natalie Portman for Black Swan and Christian Bale and Melissa Leo for The Fighter .
The same generally holds true for the weekend's other big Hollywood honors, the Directors Guild of America Awards, where Michel Hazanavicius won the feature-film prize Saturday for The Artist . The Directors Guild winner has gone on to earn the best-director Oscar 57 times in the 63-year history of the union's awards show.
SAG also presents an award for overall cast performance, a prize that's loosely considered the ceremony's equivalent of a best-picture honor. However, the cast award has a spotty record at predicting what will win best picture at the Oscars.
While The King's Speech won both honors a year ago, the SAG cast recipient has gone on to claim the top Oscar only eight times in the 16 years since the guild added the category. Airing live on TNT and TBS from the Shrine Exhibition Center in downtown Los Angeles, the show features nine television categories, as well.
Receiving the guild's life-achievement award is Mary Tyler Moore. The prize was to be presented by Dick Van Dyke, her co-star on the 1960s sit-com The Dick Van Dyke Show .

"My husband has made incredible movies that have impacted the world and therefore I'm a part of that now. I'm proud of it and it's OK.
" Despite their worldwide fame, Katie insists she and Tom prefer low-key activities out of the spotlight. She said: "We like to play a version of Scrabble called Take Two, where you don't use the board, just the pieces.
" Katie admitted the attention she receives in public can sometimes be problematic, but she has learned ways of coping. She explained to Britain's Hello! magazine: "Some days you can go straight to Starbucks without being bothered and some days you have to switch cars and it's something that becomes a part of your day.
"You kind of figure out how to go with it or fight it. I am still a kid from Ohio, but this is a part of my life now.

I said 'I'm wearing that.' And I called Ryan, and said 'Ryan, I'm wearing black!,'" she said.
However, it seems Murphy wasn't upset about her not taking his advice. "When I met Lea, she was only sort of interested in clothes-- but in the last two years she's become a red-carpet star.
I think what happened is Lea went to an event, and someone said, 'Oh, you look pretty.' It was an interesting moment for her," he added.

(less)Anil Kapoor to host a party for Tom Cruise
Apparently Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal have expressed keen interest in hosting parties for the Hollywood actor during his stay here, on December 4 and 5. However all requests have been politely declined.
According to sources, Anil offered to have Tom as a guest at his house. But practical considerations came in the way.
"Anil is Tom's co-star in Mission Impossible . They have a personal bonding.
But for security reasons, he will stay at Taj Lands End which is now being turned into a fortress," a source said. Sources also added that Anil is planning a huge bash in honour of his friend where the who's-who of the entertainment world will be invited.
Some of the other Bollywood names who wanted to host parties are apparently not happy with the idea of reveling in the borrowed glory of Anil's bash and may not even turn up for the party. The source added, "But Anil can be very persuasive.
He will win over all the Khans and Kapoors and the rest of his fraternity and they will all be there finally." The venue of Anil's do is being kept under wraps.
The source added, "The producers have lined up big events. The core event is a screening for fans of MI4 on December 4, three days before the film's global premiere in Dubai.
" Officials from India's MI4 's distribution company in India have either switched off their mobiles or taken leave. A source said, "News of the fan screening has leaked out.
Requests for invites are driving the production company up the wall. They've surrendered Tom's schedules to Anil who will take a call on where and for how long Tom will be in Mumbai.

After 15 years out of the lime-light, the child star is now re-entering Hollywood with a starring role in a new independent movie For the Love of Money , alongside Edward Furlong. "I'm ready to come back and I'm ready to work.
People are always going to have this image of me as five years old so it's my job to work hard, go into the right rooms and blow them away," he said. After his early big break he went onto star in other popular family films such as Stuart Little and The Little Vampire .

(less)Divya Dutta in a Hollywood film!
"I'm having a ball. I have the best of both, national as well as international cinema.
By God's grace mera sapna poora ho raha hai," she says. "As a kid I used to wear my mother's dupattas and saris and emulate Hema Maliniji or Rekhaji in front of the mirror.
I did not play chhupan-chhupayi or ghar-ghar, like other kids my age. Instead, I would play a heroine and make any of my boy friends act like Dharmendraji or Amitabh Bachchan," laughs Divya, recalling how she'd never wanted to be anything else but an actor.
The actress is looking forward to her roles in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine", Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "My Friend Pinto", Dev Anand's "Chargesheet" and Vinod Bachchan's "Zilla Ghaziabad". One of her Hollywood films, "Heart Land" directed by Fred Holmes, better known as the director of the hugely popular TV series "Barney and His Friends," releases this year, while she begins work on two more next March.
"I can't talk much about the Hollywood films, but I can definitely say that it has opened a world of opportunities for me," enthuses the National Award winning actor. "Now, I want to win another National Award.
Somehow they always nominate me every year, but it misses me," she says, half in jest, while in Lucknow to promote her movie-based quiz show on TV. But despite the plum projects and the prestigious awards to her credit, Divya doesn't have the airs of a star.
In fact, she has none of the trappings of a Bollywood celeb, and her filmy career hasn't seen her running around trees, singing songs or doing the run-of-the-mill roles. Quite an unusual career graph, we point out.
To which Divya says, "Didn't you yourself say 'unusual'? What's the fun in doing the usual? I take pride in saying that I'm not the usual Hindi film actor who's on the top of her game for 4-5 years, then sees a slump, gets married, has kids and then makes a comeback in senior kind of roles. My career has been far from cliched.
I have always done unconventional roles and I am proud of all of them. I have played different characters in different films and that versatility has worked to my benefit.
I don't have to worry about the top or the bottom slot. My place is made in the industry and it's a wonderful one, believe me," says she.
Not just a talented actor, Divya is also a talented writer. She has been contributing to dailies and writing on issues related to relationships, love, life, emotional lochas etc on a regular basis.
Now Divya is set to make her debut as an author. The book, she says, will be launched next year.
"It's an autobiographical novel. I have plenty of experiences to narrate from my life and I am already penning it down.
You'll get to see it next year," says she

(less)Anil Kapoor plays Tom Cruise’s guide
The Indian actor and his western counterpart have been bonding big time. From the beginning of the shoot, Tom Cruise has been tweeting about India and his interest in the Hindi language.
When Tom learned from the foreign studio that he will be required to make a trip to India in December, he began bombarding Anil with questions; seeking help on how to plan his itinerary. Says our source, "On one hand Tom Cruise's itinerary is the most well-guarded secret.
To keep the paparazzi at bay, only a select few have details about his flight and the hotel where his entourage will be put up. The foreign studio making the arrangements has instructed everyone concerned to sign an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement).
Tom who is now good friends with Anil is letting him know every minute detail." Anil refuses to entertain any calls on the subject but yes, he did confess that he has to keep pinching himself to believe it's true.
Just the fact that a modest guy from Chembur is sharing screen space with one of the biggest Hollywood stars is giving him a high he has not experienced before. Kapoor adds, "Everyone knows my Hollywood journey began with Slumdog Millionaire.
The television series 24 with Kiefer Sutherland took me one step ahead in the West. But rubbing shoulders with Tom is a giant leap ahead.
Honestly, I'm ecstatic."
(less)Paula Patton lost her baby weight by stunts in MI4
Paula admits the timing of the shoot was perfect because it came five months after she gave birth to her son Julian Fuego - her child with her husband, singer/songwriter Robin Thicke - in April 2010 and whipped her into shape. Speaking at the UK premiere of the action sequel at London's BFI IMAX cinema last night (13.
12.1), she told BANG Showbiz: "In the wish to do all my own stunts it was quite a bit of training, especially because I'd just had my son five months prior so as you can imagine, I wasn't in tip-top shape.
It wasn't just about the outward appearance, which of course got affected, but it was about being able to do these stunts." Referring to the different disciplines she had to learn, she added: "Once I felt like I could do those things, I felt like I could really be Jane Carter ".
Paula was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Lea Seydoux and braved the cold in a skimpy dress to meet fans. She also praised Tom - who reprises his role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt in the sequel - insisting he was a great support on set.
Paula said: "It was an amazing experience. Those are the moments you dream of as an actress.
He is very generous in that he wants to share the spotlight with everyone and make everyone shine." Tweet
(less)Everybody is talking about Abhishek and me: Sonam Kapoor
Sonam said, "Everybody has been telling me how good we look together, especially in our songs. I've always maintained that Abhishek is my favourite co-star.
We did Delhi 6 together. In that film we had a pigeon, too.
In Players , there's a pigeon. I wonder what connection Abhishek and I have with pigeons.
" 'Players' was promoted alongside Mission Impossible-4 when Tom Cruise visited India too! "It was a lovely experience," shared Sonam, who went on to add, "My dad's a rockstar" when asked about what she felt about Anil Kapoor's performance in the international venture. So when do we see her share screen space with dad? "It's going to be a while.
First, there's no script, and second, I'm sure I'll suffer from weak knees when acting with him."

(less)Royal couple William, Kate attend London premiere of War Horse
War Horse tells the story of the friendship between an English farm boy and his clever horse, Joey, set against the backdrop of the Great War. The film is based on the best-selling 1982 children's novel by Michael Morpurgo that was adapted into a Tony award-winning play by Nick Stafford.
Speaking ahead of the premiere, Spielberg said he was "excited" to see the Royal couple. "I haven't ever met Kate and I met William when he was very very young, and so I am looking forward to seeing him again", he said.
The film's star, Jeremy Irvine, said it was an "honour" that the Duke and Duchess were there. The past year has seen momentous changes for Kate, with a fairytale wedding to Prince William, travels around the world and glamorous appearances that marked her transition from commoner to the world's most talked-about princess and style icon.
The newlyweds, who live in a remote corner of north Wales, are said to favour a "quieter life" after the massive global media coverage of their April wedding. But the couple has a busy year ahead with Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, which will involve numerous events throughout Britain and the Commonwealth, peaking in a major celebration in London in early June.

(less)I don't mind taking my shirt off: Ali Zafar
The purpose is not to show off, but to get the show going in accordance with the demands of the story and the character." The singer certainly didn't mind giving us an exclusive sneak preview of his abs.
All he said was, "as long as my guitar is with me". He admitted, "The scene for which it was required comes as a pre-climax in Paris.
It's an intense scene, and so it was physically and emotionally draining, but that's the fun of filmmaking. You live through your characters.
And I want each of my characters to look different from the last, so I had to work a lot on my look. I had to undergo training and was on a special diet for 10 days.
" How did it feel to join the brigade of shirtless heroes? He smiles and says, "It's not the first time I've taken off my shirt on screen. I have done it before for mymusic video, " Ek Pal ".

Tweet

However, it seems Murphy wasn't upset about her not taking his advice. "When I met Lea, she was only sort of interested in clothes-- but in the last two years she's become a red-carpet star.

Siddharth is known to be close to Ranbir Kapoor (he's done two films with the actor) and has worked with Bipasha in Bachna Aye Haseeno. However, it was Shahid and Sid (who've never worked together) who were bonding at the dinner.
Besides casual conversation, the chatter also touched upon the subject of Shahid and Bipasha possibly doing a film together. They worked together in Shikhar (2005), but weren't cast opposite each other.
Since then, the newly-minted couple hasn't shared screen space together. A source reveals, "Bipasha is really fond of Siddharth.
She wanted him to come for a casual dinner with Shahid. They were joking around and having a good time.
Shahid was quite interested in discussing the possibility of doing a romantic film with Bips. A few months ago, there was buzz that Sid wanted to remake the Tom Cruise film Knight and Day with Shahid and Priyanka for a leading production house.
However, the project never took off." Bipasha too showed keen interest in discussing the possibility of a future project.
The source adds, "The conversation wasn't seriously about work. The motive behind the dinner meeting was to catch up, but they couldn't help discussing working in the future.

(less)Anil Kapoor Chattano MI 4, tweets Tom Cruise
Anil Kapoor Chattano MI 4". What? The message created tidal waves of mirth in Bollywood, with everyone - including Anil - trying to make sense of what Tom meant by "Anil Kapoor Chattano MI4".
The mystery was soon solved. It appears that Tom's sincere attempt to express his admiration for Anil came undone because of an auto-translation software.
What he meant to say was, "Anil Kapoor rocks MI4", which got automatically translated as chattaano! For his part, Anil was quite modest about the compliment. "Come on, it is Cruise who rocks in "MI 4".
Mera toh sirf guest appearance hai," he said. Anil and Tom 'on the chattaans', anyone?

(less)Harry Potter, Thrones win SAG stunt honours
Winning the TV stunt ensemble prize was Game of Thrones . The stunt awards were announced on the arrivals red carpet before the show began.
Among the early arrivals to the cheers of enthusiastic fans on a sunny and warm afternoon were Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray of the old Dallas TV series, soon to be the new Dallas TV series on TNT. Meanwhile, Glenn Close was looking very unlike her Albert Nobbs character for which she received a SAG nomination as she posed for fans in a sleek black gown.
For the main event, Sunday's 18th annual SAG ceremony is heavy on actors playing illustrious real-life figures. Among them: Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady ; Leonardo DiCaprio as J.
Edgar Hoover in J. Edgar ; and Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe and Kenneth Branagh as Laurence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn .
Streep won a Golden Globe for The Iron Lady and is considered a favorite for the SAG prize and for her third win at the Academy Awards, which are set for February 26. The front-runners for the other SAG awards are actors in fictional roles, though, among them George Clooney as a dad in crisis in The Descendants and Jean Dujardin as a silent-film star fallen on hard times in The Artist .
Both are up for best actor, and both won Globes -- Clooney as dramatic actor, Dujardin as musical or comedy actor. Octavia Spencer as a brassy Mississippi maid in The Help and Christopher Plummer as an elderly dad who comes out as gay in Beginners won Globes for supporting performances and have strong prospects for the same honors at the SAG Awards.

(less)Heroine will be a landmark in Kareena's career: Bhandarkar
We have always talked about working together and even discussed a lot of films but nothing materialized. But Heroine is a great script and a great story.
I am sure it will be a landmark cinema in Kareena's career," said Bhandarkar at the red carpet of Airtel Super Star Awards. Bhandarkar's film hit a roadblock after Aishwarya opted out of the project following her pregnancy.
Ash gave birth to a baby girl Wednesday. The filmmaker hopes the film doesn't get into any other problem.
" Heroine is basically a journey in a heroine's life in the contemporary world. It's going to portray how an actress reaches the top and how her life goes through ups and downs.
There are lot of catharsis and traumas shown in the film," said Bhandarkar, known for making films like Page 3 , Fashion and Traffic Signal . "Right now, the film is on track and shooting will start November end and we will finish by March-April.
Hope you all like it," he added. Tweet
(less)Ali Zafar in London, Paris, New York
The film is a romantic comedy and it's a story about a couple who fall in love while visiting three of the most romantic places on earth; London, Paris and New York. "The story is very fresh.
We have tried our level best to make it as realistic as possible. It deals in different emotions that people experience when they're in love.
It is believable because it also talks about the pain and suffering of heartbreak," said Goldie. The title is simple and says a lot about the movie.
When asked about its significance, Ali Zafar said, "The title is an integral part of the film. It provides a backdrop to the love story and helps in portraying the characters' journey of love.
It's all very natural and realistic. The movie is about Nikhil and Lalitha, two very different people who fall in love.
" The music of the movie has been composed by Ali Zafar himself. In fact both the stars, Ali and Aditi, sing well and have sung in the film.
The movie has some intimate scenes between the two actors. But, according to Aditi, it is very different from the usual bollywood movies.
"The scenes are very organic in nature. They are there because without them the story would feel incomplete.
We have not forced sex scenes anywhere just because it is believed that sex sells. The scenes are beautiful and are lovely to watch," says Aditi.
The cast and crew just got done with the London chapter and if the chemistry shared between Ali and Aditi is anything to go by, this could be something to look forward to

(less)Mark Wahlberg casted Justin Bieber based on his intuition
Asked why he picked the Baby singer, Mark told MTV: "Intuition. I'm pretty intuitive.
"I see the guy and spent time with him and you see what he does and how he does it, and then you actually have a conversation with him and it's there." Although 17-year-old Justin has had little previous big screen experience - aside from his documentary film Never Say Never - Mark is confident he can make the project work, adding: "It's there - and if not, I will extract it.
" Mark has previously likened the project to The Colour of Money , a 1986 film about an old pool player and his young protege, starring Paul Newman and a young Tom Cruise. He added: "Wait till you see me and Bieber in the flick.
Think of, like, The Colour of Money ." Mark is hoping the film can go into production in 2012.
