Azim looks up to Salman, SRK and Aamir Khan
To make his character in "Qasam Se Qasam Se" appear realistic, Azim frequented call centre offices to absorb the finer nuances of the people working there. "It was quite a relevation for me as an actor.
I witnessed not only people's mannerisms but also the activities they indulge in during the break hour. Looking into the mirror, some guys would be busy ruffling their hair and taking care of their looks, while some would busy binging.
And there would others catching up with family and friends over their cell phones. This has helped shaped my character in the film.
" Azim feels that all our veteran actors were keen observers and would translate that on screen. "Whether it were the legendary actors like Dilip Kumar or the late Raj Kapoor or Dev Anand , they were schools in themselves.
I am a great fan of Salman Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan and look at them as a student who looks upon his guru. I am mastering the art of acting watching their films," he smiles

(less)I never thought I'd be a desirable woman: Sameera Reddy
"My name in the list means a lot to me. As as a young girl, I never thought even in my wildest dreams that I would become a desirable woman.
I yearned for a perfect body as I was ugly duckling in school. But now that I have entered films, I believe that beauty is hidden in the imperfections of people and it all depends on how you use them.
That's my definition of desirable and I am glad to have made it to the list," says Sameera. The actor is basking in the success of her last Tamil release opposite Madhavan and has Padma Shri Priyadarshan's Tezz to look forward to.
Sameera has now decided that she will do a mix of performance-oriented and glamorous characters on screen, something that Simran and Jyothika did in Kollywood. So is the report true that Sameera wants to become the next Simran and Jyothika? "You cannot become another person.
I had said that I look up to both Simran and Jyothika, who had a mixed bag of roles- performance-oriented and cute characters. Both had their own fan following .
They are my role models and I want to have a beautiful lineup of characters like them," says the actor
(less)Sherlyn Chopra likes being unconventional
Be it politics, cinema, sports, business or any other arena, women across the globe including India are in great form mentally, physically and consciously to undertake greater responsibilities and tougher challenges that are often encountered on paths less travelled." Sherlyn is also happy that she has gone from being just a pin-up girl to an entrepreneur.
Says she, "The rapid metamorphosis in my case would not have been possible had the mindsets of the majority of the people in the Hindi film industry continued to be goverened by prejudices. I look upto entrepreneurs who command respect and attention for daring to think out of the box and act accordingly.
They do not have a herd mentality. What they have is unadulterated creativity which is set on fire by courage.
" Naming films like " The Dirty Picture ", " Erin Brokovich ", " No One Killed Jessica "," The Black Swan " as cinema that has changed the way we think, Sherlyn says, "Unconventionality is no longer a taboo. It is being applauded and celebrated by both the classes and the masses.
The pulse of the youth is racing towards liberalisation. And I'm truly loving it.
" Asked why she decided to give us photographs that resembled those of the " Jism 2 " campaign, the actor quips, "I have pushed the envelope by choosing to cover my nakedness with nothing but pure consciousness."

(less)Flash mob greets Imran at New York University
"I had a blast at NYU. Everyone was so enthusiastic, they put on a very polished, confident show, and the surprise flash mob at the end was perfectly executed.
My best wishes to all the students involved," Imran said in a statement. The students had been practising for the performance for over two weeks, ahead of Imran's visit to New York as part of the promotional tour.
"As the president of NYU Dillagi, a Bollywood dance team, I knew we had to have simpler steps that the general public would be able to do and we sent videos out to the public. I thought that the flash mob came out even better than expected since people kept joining the mob throughout the sequence and it definitely surprised those that did not know of it ahead of time," Mohit Chhatpar, coordinator of the flash mob, said.
"It was really fun to be doing a flash mob and having Imran among us was all the more fun. He was very sporting and interacted with the students.
We are excited about this movie as well and are glad he could come and be among us to talk about his movie," he added. The Dharma Productions' film, also starring Kareena Kapoor, is set to hit theatres Feb 10.

(less)Mohit Suri to direct Aashiqui 2 with fresh faces
"It's been 20 years for that film. So, obviously now I will have to upgrade this story.
It will be the same realistic love story but with a modern theme," Suri told IANS. Aashiqui won critical accolades after its release at the time.
It also catapulted the careers of lead actors Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, who forayed into Bollywood with this film. Suri is also set to hunt for new faces for the sequel.
"I will cast fresh faces with a new boy and a new girl," said Mohit. While some are referring to Aashiqui 2 as a sequel, others are calling it a remake.
However, producer Mukesh Bhatt of Vishesh Films sets the record straight. "It is neither a sequel nor a remake.
It can be said as the musical series of Aashiqui ..
.a new generation is making this film," he said.

(less)Don 2 does good business in second week
Trade pandits point out that the price for satellite and music rights, combined with the overseas figures, ensure that the investment will be recovered. Meanwhile, ex-cop YP Singh's directorial venture, Kya Yahi Sach Hai which released last week, sank without a trace.
Komal Nahta, editor of koimoi.com, terms the collections of Don 2 on Saturday-Sunday as "superb.
" "Whether it's December 31 or not, Saturday-Sunday is usually good. After netting about Rs 75 crore in all languages in the first week, Rs 18 crore in the second weekend, the film should touch Rs 100 crore by Thursday.
Overseas, it will yield a distributor share of about Rs 25 crore," he summed up, adding that Reliance, which is co-producing and distributing the film, will make more than Rs 12 crore. Equally optimistic is Delhi-based distributor Sanjay Ghai of Mukta Arts Ltd.
"I had predicted that it will do Rs 100 crore in two weeks. The film held well from Monday through Thursday in the first week.
Had that not been the case, it would not have done even Rs 15 crore in the second weekend," he asserted, adding that he expects the Shah Rukh Khan starrer to yield a distributor share of Rs 50 crore in India. The film that cost Excel Rs 80 crore to make, cost Reliance another 10 crore on 3D conversion and 15-20 crore on prints and publicity.
Of the Rs 105 plus crore the company has put in, it is said to have already made Rs 35 crore from satellite rights and Rs 10 crore from music. However, another distributor who released the movie for Reliance in one of the territories is skeptical about the company profiting from it.
On condition of anonymity, he explained, "On the strength of overseas and satellite, they will break even. But you don't make a movie to break even.
Also, Don 2 was part of the package deal with Excel, along with Rock On and Luck By Chance . Both those films incurred a loss of over Rs 25 crore to Reliance.
And don't forget the rate of interest on their investment in Don 2 ." Veteran trade analyst Amod Mehra says that the SRK film has done well overseas and average in the second weekend in India.
"Christmas and New Year has saved Don 2 . So it will make some commission besides recovering the money.
Also, it benefitted from having no competition from another release," he concludes. Tweet

(less)Sholay’s 3D dreams shattered
Mukta Arts, that holds a stake in Maya Digital is reportedly, put off by the legal hassles that the Sippy family is currently embroiled in. This is the second project from the Sippys that has run into rough weather owing to the problems in their family.
Earlier, producer GP Sippy's son Suresh raised an objection against GP Sippy's grandsons Sascha and Shaan, claiming that they had no right to license the remake rights of Seeta Aur Geeta to Sunil Bohra (Mumbai Mirror, February 7, 2011). Suresh has raised an objection this time around as well.
While Sascha Sippy remained unavailable for comment, Suresh Sippy told Mumbai Mirror, "How can Ghai convert Sholay into 3D when we Sippys are in a legal conflict? My lawyer spoke to Ghai and told him about the same. And well, I don't know anything about Maya Digital's plans.
Negative kahan hai unke paas? Yes, Sascha has the rights of Sholay but I also sent a message across to Sascha not to entertain any such proposals." However, Ramesh Sippy, the director of Sholay doesn't seem to have any problem with the licensing.
a source close to the family revealed, "Mr Ramesh Sippy is out from the family business after our film Brashtachar released in 1989." When contacted, Mukta Arts's head honcho Subhash Ghai said, "I am not associated with Sholay getting converted into 3D.
I am just a stakeholder in Maya Digital. As far as I am concerned, the matter ended some six months ago.
" When asked whether he was still pursuing the conversion of Sholay into 3D, Ketan Mehta said, "I don't want to talk about this at all." His wife Deepa Sahi too excused herself, saying, "We are working on ten projects and we at Maya Digital have a Non-Disclosure agreement on all of them.

(less)Amole Gupte to make a film on senior citizens
Gupte, who had earlier worked as a writer for Aamir Khan Productions' Taare Zameen Par in 2007 and later written and directed Stanley Ka Dabba, will script his next film as well. A source informed Mumbai Mirror, "Amole is making a film on senior citizens and it highlights three generations of men in a family and tries to capture their relationships.
The film is about a grandfather, father and a grandson and how they react to each other when they are trapped in a situation." "The film is on how much you love your Papa," added the source.

" When asked if the film is inspired by his relationship with his father, Gupte said, "No it's not inspired by my father but the film is about them. The new city nucleus is cold to the old.

(less)Bollywood wakes up to women-centric themes
Women have played several roles on screen - helpless mother, submissive wife, devoted girlfriend and ignored sister. But over a decade, filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali , Shyam Benegal, Vishal Bhardwaj have tried to break the stereotype and present them in a more realistic way, and successfully too.
IANS lists women-centric films in the past decade that have ruled the box-office or garnered critical acclaim: "The Dirty Picture" (2011) - Vidya Balan's itsy bitsy clothes, cleavage-showing blouses and raunchy dance numbers swept the audience off their feet even before the film hit the silver screen, but her powerful and crisp dialogue delivery and easy portrayal of the character took the attention away. The film is an unofficial biopic of southern sex symbol Silk Smitha, her rise to fame and downfall.
"7 Khoon Maaf" (2011) - Priyanka Chopra won critical acclaim for her performance as Susanna, a potentially loathsome serial spouse-killer. At the outset Priyanka's character seemed negative but at the same time it gave an insight into a woman's heart and soul.
Rather than hate her, many ended up sympathising with her. "No One Killed Jessica" (2011) - Based on the real-life murder of model Jessica Lall in 1999, this film kickstarted the year on a positive note.
While Vidya Balan triumphed with her non-glamorous and distraught portrayal of Jessica's sister Sabrina, Rani Mukerji's unprecedented use of abuses as a journalist raised quite a few eyebrows but brought critical acclaim for her. "Fashion" (2008) - Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar , "Fashion" gave a sneak peak into the dark reality of the glamour world.
Priyanka stole the show with her powerful and intense performance as a girl who goes from aspiring model to supermodel before her descent. The actress played a bubbly girl, who connected with the darkest of human emotions while pursuing her dream.
Her performance also won her a national award. "Dor" (2006) - A Nagesh Kuknoor film, "Dor" was the poigant tale of two women and how their fate brings them together.
Relatively new to the world of cinema, both Ayesha Takia and Gul Panag proved their mettle as actors with their distinctive performances. "Black" (2005) - Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Black" was one of the best films of Rani Mukerji's career.
Her portrayal of a deaf and blind girl and how she forms a strong bond with her teacher played by Amitabh Bachchan won her accolades from all over the world. The film brought out the untapped potential of the actress.
"Chameli" (2003) - "Chameli" was a brave attempt by Kareena Kapoor , where she played a sex worker. With her over-the-top makeup, bright coloured saris and intense portrayal, Kareena proved that she is much more than just glamorous.
"Zubeidaa" (2001) - A Shyam Benegal film, "Zubeidaa" starred Karisma Kapoor and Rekha in prominent roles. It was the story of a girl who gets married into a royal family and frets about the restrictions on her as princess and often vents her frustrations at not having her husband to herself.
The film saw Karisma in a completely different avatar. "Lajja" (2001) - Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, "Lajja" satirized the status of women in society and the restrictions on them.
The film chronicled the story of four women with the names Maithali, Janaki, Ramdulhari and Vaidehi that are considered to be the versions of Sita. The film starred Manisha Koirala , Rekha, Madhuri Dixit and Mahima Chaudhry.
"Chandni Bar" (2001)- Madhur Bhandarkar's "Chandni Bar" was again the heartwarming story of a sex worker played by Tabu and how she struggles to provide a better lifestyle to her kids, keeping them away from the gritty world of prostitution. Tabu walked away with the national award for best actress

(less)Marketing is key, says Gul Panag
But in today's times, a good film needs to be presented to the audience in a smart way, for which a lot of marketing is required. If the marketing is not good, then even a good film will not be able to reach out to the target audience," Gul told reporters on the sidelines of an event in New Delhi.
The actress, who earned critical acclaim for her performance in films like Dor , Manorama Six Feet Under and Turning 30 , married her long time boyfriend, Rishi Attari early this year. She feels one should marry when he or she wants to and not out of societal pressure.
"I recommend marriage to girls who want to marry out of choice. I don't believe that marriage can be done when someone else chooses (someone) for you and you just get married.
Women must have the right to choose whom to marry and when to marry," she added. Tweet
(less)Divya Dutta in a Hollywood film!
"I'm having a ball. I have the best of both, national as well as international cinema.
By God's grace mera sapna poora ho raha hai," she says. "As a kid I used to wear my mother's dupattas and saris and emulate Hema Maliniji or Rekhaji in front of the mirror.
I did not play chhupan-chhupayi or ghar-ghar, like other kids my age. Instead, I would play a heroine and make any of my boy friends act like Dharmendraji or Amitabh Bachchan," laughs Divya, recalling how she'd never wanted to be anything else but an actor.
The actress is looking forward to her roles in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine", Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "My Friend Pinto", Dev Anand's "Chargesheet" and Vinod Bachchan's "Zilla Ghaziabad". One of her Hollywood films, "Heart Land" directed by Fred Holmes, better known as the director of the hugely popular TV series "Barney and His Friends," releases this year, while she begins work on two more next March.
"I can't talk much about the Hollywood films, but I can definitely say that it has opened a world of opportunities for me," enthuses the National Award winning actor. "Now, I want to win another National Award.
Somehow they always nominate me every year, but it misses me," she says, half in jest, while in Lucknow to promote her movie-based quiz show on TV. But despite the plum projects and the prestigious awards to her credit, Divya doesn't have the airs of a star.
In fact, she has none of the trappings of a Bollywood celeb, and her filmy career hasn't seen her running around trees, singing songs or doing the run-of-the-mill roles. Quite an unusual career graph, we point out.
To which Divya says, "Didn't you yourself say 'unusual'? What's the fun in doing the usual? I take pride in saying that I'm not the usual Hindi film actor who's on the top of her game for 4-5 years, then sees a slump, gets married, has kids and then makes a comeback in senior kind of roles. My career has been far from cliched.
I have always done unconventional roles and I am proud of all of them. I have played different characters in different films and that versatility has worked to my benefit.
I don't have to worry about the top or the bottom slot. My place is made in the industry and it's a wonderful one, believe me," says she.
Not just a talented actor, Divya is also a talented writer. She has been contributing to dailies and writing on issues related to relationships, love, life, emotional lochas etc on a regular basis.
Now Divya is set to make her debut as an author. The book, she says, will be launched next year.
"It's an autobiographical novel. I have plenty of experiences to narrate from my life and I am already penning it down.
You'll get to see it next year," says she
(less)Neetu Chandra to play a city nautch girl
Says Neetu, "I will co-produce the movie and it will be directed by my brother. The bilingual movie - in Bhojpuri and Hindi - will be based on the life of Mahendra Misir.
He was a folk singer and the pioneer of " Purvi ", a form of Bhojpuri folk singing. He was also a revolutionary from Bihar's Chhapra, who printed currency and used it against the Brits.
Unfortunately, his contribution is not known nationally. The film will be called "Company Ustad".
" Her foray into production was through another bilingual directed by her brother. Neetu says, "I'll be playing a nautch girl in the film.
Misir, being a singer, was in close contact with a nautch girl, Dhelabai, from Bowbazar. There is a story behind her name too.
People, who would queue up to watch her classical dance performances, would even pelt 'dhela' (stone)! We plan to shoot this movie in Chhapra and Kolkata. We'll recreate Bowbazar of 1930s.
" Does she have anyone in mind to play Misir? "Plans are on to approach Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu and Raima for the film. I might approach either Ajay Devgn or Manoj Bajpai for Misir's role," she says.
Meanwhile, there's another Kolkata connect for Neetu. There's news of she being roped in for Dibakar Banerjee's thriller, "Kolkata".
Refusing to divulge the details, she says, "I've two big Hindi movies coming up. I have toured Jharkhand and Bihar extensively with my forthcoming release.
Bihar's CM, Nitish Kumar , loved the film." While professional work is keeping Neetu busy, what about her personal life (read her alleged affair with Randeep Hooda)? Neetu concludes, "I have no complaints about all that's happening in my professional and personal lives.

(less)Divya Dutta keen on Punjabi films
An act of faith: Divya Jagdale
For an actress who's been a part of television, theatre as well as films, genres don't really matter. "Theatre gives me a high, but TV and films have their own high.
It's the variety that excites me. I like doing what I do, but that inspiration can come from any medium," she says.
For Divya, October promises to be an exciting month. "I've recently shot for a short film, two of my films have been chosen to be screened at a film festival and my play What A Lota is also being performed around Diwali," says Divya with a smile.
Talking about her "extremely challenging role" in the play, Divya says the one-hour monologue is a fun-filled ride for the audeince. "It's great fun doing this play because the journey of this lota extends from mumbo-jumbo to scientific explanations," she adds.
Apart from this play, her roles in Amole Gupte's Stanley Ka Dabba and Makarand Deshpande's Miss Sundari have also won her critical acclaim and will also be screened at a film festival soon. "It's difficult for me to explain how I approach these roles, when I'm asked this question.
I just love to extend myself to a role and go with the flow," she says. As for Talk To Me, the short film written and directed by Sujit K Singh, the actress is all praises.
"The film is about an incident that completely overturns the relationship between a husband and wife. My character has to come to terms with the event, for her to move on.
I'm glad that my character realises that solution only comes from suffering and not escapism," she says. She adds that she's glad about being offered such roles.
"It's great to be part of a film where there's a democratic approach towards working. I'm always able to perform better when I feel the director has faith in my abilities," she says

Tweet

(less)I don't blindly follow a fitness routine: Gul Panag
I keep in mind that I need to do 45 minutes of intense physical activity a day, whether I am travelling or whether it is raining. And so I adapt my fitness plan according to the situation," Gul told IANS in an interview.
"I take into account how my body is feeling on any given day and don't blindly follow a routine for the sake of it," she added. The actress, who has been part of films like " Dhoop", "Dor", "Manorama Six Feet Under", "Hello Darling" and "Turning 30" feels that gymming is not the only way to stay fit, there are other outdoor options available too.
"There are a countless options other than gymming to stay fit. Taking the stairs, choosing to walk whenever possible, cycling, running outdoors, etc, all help," she said.
"In fact if one chooses an active lifestyle, one doesn't need to sweat it out in a gym," she added. The 32-year-old, who recently tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Rishi Attari, opined that ideally five days of workout is good enough for a healthy lifestyle.
This gives the body two days to rest. Along with physical exercise, the nature of diet is also of prime importance to remain fit and Gul feels that binging is a strict no-no.
"What you eat is very important. I adapt my daily intake of food to the weather, location and my activity levels.
I eat sensibly and don't binge," she said. The actress specified that women need to take extra care about certain things when they are working out to avoid any problem later.
"The right attire and support is very important, especially for high impact exercises. Women need to bear in mind that after a certain age, there is loss in bone density and they need to focus on strength training," she said.
"Most importantly if following an outdoor routine, one should always keep one's safety in mind," she added. Tweet'; var stindex=100; var stp=150; var taglen=0; var tmp; var tagcheck = new Array("div","span","br","font","a"); if(storymetalinks==true) { var storydiv=document.

The 32-year-old also gave out some fitness tips. "People should focus on strength and endurance, and shouldn't run after size.
The girls want to get smaller, the boys want to grow bigger but what's important in fitness is that you have strength and stamina because there's no fitness without it," she added. While a lot of people rave about Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's slim waist, Gul said Bipasha was the fittest among all.
"I think Bipasha is very fit. A lot of people feel being slim is being fit.

(less)Gul Panag shares her wish list
But I respect money as it gives me the freedom to do things that I want to do at the time that I want to do them," says the actress. 'Keeping it simple' is her financial formula.
"Very early in life, my father told me that one-third of your income should be saved, one-third spent on basic survival necessities, and one-third should be reserved for recreation. Over the years my income may have grown, but my approach to money and spending it remains the same.
Besides this, what really works for me is how I mentally create a kitty for something on my wish list. For instance, I recently sold my car, and I am in no hurry to buy another one.
But I am not spending the money I got through the sale of the car, rather I have created a car wish list, so as and when I have the finances to buy the luxury car that I desire, I will. In fact I keep a separate account for income through gifts," she smiles.
Delve further on money matters, and Gul excitedly shares notes on the innovative 'Wishlist' application offered by her bank, Standard Chartered under the Breeze Banking initiative. This application not only allows the customer to allocate savings under various wishes within his/her savings account, but the functionality is also connected to Facebook .
So every time a wish is achieved, one can share the achievement with his/ her friends on Facebook. "It seems as if this application was tailor-made for my needs.
Till some time back, I was mentally allocating finances between my two recently acquired properties - one is a penthouse in Noida and the other is a vacation home that I am building from a scratch. Thanks to the application, my brain can stop working overtime as the application keeps track of the money saved for both the projects.
I have more time now to work on my volunteering portal and other interests," she shares

(less)Without big stars, one always struggles: Nagesh Kukunoor
Could it be because he hasn't considered casting A-list actors? "It (having big stars) does make a difference you want your film to be seen by the widest audience. No one controls this.
..
If you don't have any of the 10 main actors, then you are always going to struggle to attract an audience. And that's the fight that I am not giving up on," Kukunoor told IANS.
He has worked with actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Shreyas Talpade, Ayesha Takia, Gul Panag and John Abraham. He is confident that until and unless his script demands a superstar, he doesn't need one.
"That's not the goal with what I started making out my films. That was not the idea.
Only if the script demands, then I will (cast a star)," he said. Kukunoor has always maintained a variety in his projects, but he doesn't mind repeating his actors.
"I do repeat my actors absolutely. If you have a nice actor, I don't see reason why you have to look out for another," he set the record straight.
However, the filmmaker is open to all and sundry. Even after stating that he won't enter the romantic genre, he went ahead and made "Mod", starring Ayesha and Rannvijay Singh.
And now he plans to make something completely different. "In this industry, we say something and do something else.
But it's a part of the game. I said I'll never make a love story, but I made one.
But one thing I do is don't repeat is my story. Since I've made a love story, I will make something different now," he said

(less)'Ek Main Aur... ' puts spotlight on Las Vegas
"One of the main reasons for films not to be shot in Las Vegas is that the character of the place is very defined and we need to show it as Las Vegas. It can't be shown as any other city.
Since most films are not set there, it gets difficult. In case of "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" our film is set in Las Vegas and Mumbai," Batra told IANS.
"To shoot 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' was a bit difficult as we were shooting in the middle of Christmas and New Year to catch the festivities of the place. Otherwise, it is like shooting in any other foreign location," added the director who spent 30 days there to shoot the film.
The Alps in Switzerland , beaches in New Zealand and Australia or the hustle bustle of cities like London , New York , Los Angeles , Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur , have become a staple in Bollywood films as it jazzes up the look and feel of the movie, but filmmakers have stayed away from Las Vegas so far. In last 14 years a few films were shot in the entertainment capital of the world -- "Pardes" (1997), "Jeans" 1998 and 2010 releases "Kites" and "Anjaana Anjaani".
Though filmmakers stay away from shooting movies in the Las Vegas for obvious reasons, but tourists are thronging the place. Located in the Nevada state in the US, the place, also known as "sin city" for its relaxed laws on gaming and prostitution, reportedly receives about 40 million visitors every year.
Now Imran wants to backpack and holiday in Las Vegas with friends. "Every year Imran Khan and his buddies take off to back packing trip for a week or so.
This year he is very keen all his friends and he should visit Las Vegas," said a source close to the actor. "Imran fell in love with Las Vegas while shooting there for 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' last year.
Kareena Kapoor and he had a blast while shooting. The place is anyways very peppy and full of life, however, Christmas and New Year it turns special.
Imran Khan tried to learn gambling, watched plays and magic shows to enjoy the festivity the unit had a blast," the source added. The travel package for Las Vegas costs between Rs.
1,50,000 to Rs.200,000 and one gets to see other cities too.
"These locations where films are shot are very expensive. Young people and young families are more inclined towards such trips.
They call for queries and ask us to include the specific locations in their package, but after working out the complete package it turns out a little expensive -- so at times they drop it down considering their budget," said Nupur Goswami, sr. consultant of outbound tour at Prime Travels.
"A trip to Las Vegas alone does not really happen often because it is included in package with other places. But if somebody wants to, then the package would roughly be around Rs.
1,50,000," she added. Neeraj Dev, head of Outbound Vertical at Yatra Online Pvt Ltd, said: "People don't visit Las Vegas alone, the package includes New York, Washington and Las Vegas.
They spend about two-three nights in Vegas. It is a 15 days package, which comes around to Rs.
200,000."
