Azim looks up to Salman, SRK and Aamir Khan
To make his character in "Qasam Se Qasam Se" appear realistic, Azim frequented call centre offices to absorb the finer nuances of the people working there. "It was quite a relevation for me as an actor.
I witnessed not only people's mannerisms but also the activities they indulge in during the break hour. Looking into the mirror, some guys would be busy ruffling their hair and taking care of their looks, while some would busy binging.
And there would others catching up with family and friends over their cell phones. This has helped shaped my character in the film.
" Azim feels that all our veteran actors were keen observers and would translate that on screen. "Whether it were the legendary actors like Dilip Kumar or the late Raj Kapoor or Dev Anand , they were schools in themselves.
I am a great fan of Salman Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan and look at them as a student who looks upon his guru. I am mastering the art of acting watching their films," he smiles

(less)I never thought I'd be a desirable woman: Sameera Reddy
"My name in the list means a lot to me. As as a young girl, I never thought even in my wildest dreams that I would become a desirable woman.
I yearned for a perfect body as I was ugly duckling in school. But now that I have entered films, I believe that beauty is hidden in the imperfections of people and it all depends on how you use them.
That's my definition of desirable and I am glad to have made it to the list," says Sameera. The actor is basking in the success of her last Tamil release opposite Madhavan and has Padma Shri Priyadarshan's Tezz to look forward to.

(less)Sherlyn Chopra likes being unconventional
Be it politics, cinema, sports, business or any other arena, women across the globe including India are in great form mentally, physically and consciously to undertake greater responsibilities and tougher challenges that are often encountered on paths less travelled." Sherlyn is also happy that she has gone from being just a pin-up girl to an entrepreneur.
Says she, "The rapid metamorphosis in my case would not have been possible had the mindsets of the majority of the people in the Hindi film industry continued to be goverened by prejudices. I look upto entrepreneurs who command respect and attention for daring to think out of the box and act accordingly.
They do not have a herd mentality. What they have is unadulterated creativity which is set on fire by courage.
" Naming films like " The Dirty Picture ", " Erin Brokovich ", " No One Killed Jessica "," The Black Swan " as cinema that has changed the way we think, Sherlyn says, "Unconventionality is no longer a taboo. It is being applauded and celebrated by both the classes and the masses.
The pulse of the youth is racing towards liberalisation. And I'm truly loving it.
" Asked why she decided to give us photographs that resembled those of the " Jism 2 " campaign, the actor quips, "I have pushed the envelope by choosing to cover my nakedness with nothing but pure consciousness."

(less)Must watch movies on Republic Day
From the setting and the dialogues to the acting, everything was shown to perfection. The powerful script of the film was the hero, aur Manoj Kumar ki direction toh kamaal hai.
"Upkaar" is my all-time favourite. - Dharmendra It's pure emotion, not adulterated, like in today's films On Republic Day, I'd watch Manoj Kumar's "Shaheed" and Chetan Anand's "Haqeeqat".
These are two movies that have made the nation proud, as they show true love for the country. They are completely non-corrupted.
By this I mean, aaj kal jo desh bhakti ki movies ban rahi hain, unmein adulterated emotions hain, but these two were made with so much love and passion that you get goose pimples every time you watch them. I still remember my days in Delhi when I was young; I'd go watch the Republic Day parade every year, and there, songs like "Mera Rang De Basanti Chola" and "Kar Chale Hum Fida Jaano Tan Saathiyon" would be played, aur aaj bhi jab yeh gaane chalte hain, people get emotional.
This is pure emotion, you can feel it even after so many years. - Satish Kaushik Bhagat Singh became an obsession Movies toh desh bhakti pe kaafi bani hain, aur har aadmi ki apni preference hai, par mere liye toh "Shaheed" sabse upar hai.
That movie, for me, was not a part of my profession, it was an obsession. It took me three years to research it and make it.
I used to sit in the library for hours, and buy old magazines and newspapers. I even spent time with Bhagat Singh's mother, brother and comrades to know more about his life.
The topic was an obsession for me. - Manoj Kumar We need to remember the dreams and values of our freedom fighters "Gandhi" is one of the movies that's always shown and should be shown.
"Haqeeqat" is another one. At the cost of sounding a bit immodest, I would say that we should also show "Tamas", even though it is not a movie, it is a mini-series.
The purpose of showing anything on television on this day should not be about a token gesture of showing patriotism, it should be utilising the opportunity to sensitise the young generation on what the cost of getting freedom was for the country. For the young generation, freedom is a given, but they need to realise the effort that went into it and about the dreams and values of our freedom fighters.
Those are sort of values that we need to remember on days like this. If you want to look at cinematic fare from the current times, I'd say movies like Dibakar Banerjee's "Khosla Ka Ghosla" or Shyam Benegal's Well Done, Abba" - in these films, you see a lighthearted subversion of the kind of corruption that is taking place, the kind of corrosion that is happening to our the institutions.
- Govind Nihalani I love Shaheed's songs and dialogues I'd like to watch "Shaheed" purely because of its songs and dialogues, and to remind myself that it is after a long period of struggle and pain that we got this freedom. Bahut logon ne kurbaani di hai iss azaadi ke liye and we should all guard this freedom with passion and dedication.

(less)Last season winner Shweta Tiwari not a big fan of Bigg Boss
"I have never watched any season of Bigg Boss because I don't find it interesting. I went into the house because the money they offered me was huge and there was no way I could say no to it.
While I was there in the house, we used to play kho-kho every evening and had lots of fun but all they showed was fights and hatred," Shweta told PTI. "Though Dolly Bindra was abusive but like everyone else, she had positive points too, but nobody was interested in that.

What I look for is that the role should excite me. I don't want to be there just looking pretty and doing nothing," she said.
Shweta feels women get to dominate the small screen. "I feel women are ruling the small screen while men rule the big screen.

(less)Soundtrack: Movie Review
But an excessive lifestyle of sex and substance abuse, not only makes him lose focus towards work, but also leads to a permanent physical disability. In his world dominated by loud music, Raunak turns completely deaf and is unable to pursue his dreams to make music.
Things change when Raunak meets Gauri (Soha Ali Khan), who too is hearing impaired but has mastered the art of lip-reading. In Gauri, Raunak finds a tutor and life-partner.
Also his passion for music is rekindled, as he attempts to sense sound (if not hear) and study digital waveforms of tunes he knew, to create new music. Thereby a deaf DJ turns a renowned composer.
Debutante director Neerav Ghosh attempts to give a docu-drama shade to the narrative to make it seem like a biographical take on the life of his protagonist. Thankfully the documentary treatment never overcomes the actual story, which has enough scope for drama per se.
The first half seems obsessed with close-up shots of alcohol, drugs, smoke and sex. Raunak boozes as if he were drinking water and smokes like he is breathing air.
The idea might be to give a dark and disturbing shade to the film like Anurag Kashyup brand of cinema (the maverick filmmaker also has a cameo), more so with ample scope for substance abuse in the narrative. But after a point of time, it only gets repetitive and seems forced.
The tone of the film suddenly changes in the second half when the narrative turns more soft and sober, as Raunak goes on a self-rehabilitation drive, shunning all addiction. His romance track (with Soha) is blithe as compared to his hardcore sex-drive (with Mrunalini Sharma) in the first half.
But beyond the somber shade and his chemistry with costars, the narrative isn't able to create as much contrast between the first half and the second that would have resulted in relating and feeling for the protagonist's plight better. The depth that it adds to Raunak's relearning process of music (which is the soul of the film) in the second half pales in comparison to the intensity that it lends to the buildup of substance abuse in the first half.
Which means the film adds intensity where not needed and vice versa. A basic idea of a deaf person composing decent music makes for an inspiring story.
While the promising premise of the film doesn't let you down, one still feels the entire account could have been more stimulating, esp. when the director had straight reference point in the form of the original film.
The entire track of Raunak's fight with his inner demon (clowning around him in a joker-faced mask) looks ludicrous over being symbolic. It gets exasperating after a point and the entire track could certainly have been avoided.
For a film dealing primarily with music, the actual 'soundtrack' isn't as stimulating as one would have expected. Also the length could have been shorter and the film could have done away with several repetitive portions.
However, the dialogues, esp. in the second half, are well-worded and leave an impact.
Soundtrack works to a big extent because of the persuasive performance of its protagonist played by Rajeev Khandelwal . At the onset, one seems uncertain if the sober-imaged actor would be able to pull off a character as wild and weird as this.
But as you see him getting more and more into his character, you are amazed at the conviction he brings to his role. Soha Ali Khan not only plays a deaf character, she has to lisp in her diction too.
And the actress does it with absolute subtlety (as compared to the Bollywood stereotypes that go overboard) and brings grace to her role. It would have made more sense if the story enlightened on the reason behind her lisp.
Mrinalini Sharma looks refreshingly sexy and is not one-bit vulgar in her skimpily-clad character. Mohan Kapur hams.
Manu Rishi doesn't get much scope. Yatin Karyekar is decent.
While it had potential to be a rocking film, Soundtrack, at least, turns out to be sound cinema. Worth giving an ear (and eye) too!

(less)Juhi Parmar wins Bigg Boss 5, takes home Rs.1 crore
The Kumkum fame actress, who was among the first 13 contestants to enter the house Oct 2, 2011, pipped actress Mahek Chahal and Siddharth Bhardwaj to win the show, which was described as high on fights and low on entertainment quotient by season three participant, actor-filmmaker Kamaal R. Khan.
She is the second female contestant to win the show, as Shweta Tiwari had taken away the trophy in the last season. Juhi, 31, had earlier participated in other reality shows - Pati Patni Aur Woh and Maa Exchange and was seen indulging in lots of arguments, but in Bigg Boss , she played the game more patiently.
Many inmates and viewers were not so happy with Juhi's friendship with her inmate Akashdeep Saigal aka Sky, who got embroiled in the ugliest fights on the show, but it didn't stop her from winning the show. Others in the top five included Amar Upadhyay and Sky.
Juhi too had her share of arguments with contestants like Shraddha Sharma, Amar, Siddharth and Mahek, but at the same time she enjoyed a good friendship with Raageshwari Loomba, Pooja Bedi, Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone as well as Sky. What made her stand out was her patience and quality of lending everybody a patient ear in the Bigg Boss 5 , which was co-hosted by Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan.
The finale was graced by actor Imran Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar, who came to promote their forthcoming film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu . Johar had expressed that he wanted Juhi to win the show, and that his mother, Hiroo Johar, a fan of the show, feels that she was the most promising contender for the winner's trophy.
The prediction came true. Juhi was ecstatic to see her husband, TV actor Sachin Shroff, her parents and her mother-in-law upon her exit from the secluded house, where she spent 98 days without being connected with anything or anyone outside the four parapets of the house.
The finale saw several performances, including those by Sunny, Malaika Arora, Pooja Missra, Rakhi Sawant, transgender activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi and Shonali. Even Shakti Kapoor danced with all the girls who entered Bigg Boss 5 - bringing the show to a full circle.
Malaika added spice to the finale by dancing on numbers like Chhaiya chhaiya , Chhammak chhallo and Honth raseele while Rakhi grooved to Chikni chameli . Salman and Sanjay too shook a leg together, making it a treat for the audience.
Bigg Boss 5 began with an eclectic mix of celebrities - controversial models, actresses, a wrestler, as well as a proud transgender. The season saw former Miss Afghanistan Vida Samadzai, who was banned in the country for wearing a bikini; Nihita Biswas, wife of Bikini Killer Charles Sobhraj, VJ Pooja Missra, actress Pooja Bedi, model-actress Shonali, popular host Mandeep Bevli, and Rajasthani folk dancer Gulabo Sapera.
Woman wrestler Sonika Kaliraman was also seen on the show, but she left within a week of her entry as she was pregnant. Laxmi also added drama to the season, while guest appearances were made by social activist Swami Agnivesh, Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds and sumo wrestler Yamamotoyama.

(less)End of rivalry between Katrina and Kareena?
But the two actresses looked quite compatible and friendly at Sunday night's event, where Kareena was the showstopper for designer Manish Malhotra and Katrina was a guest. The comfort level between the two stars became evident when Katrina stepped on the ramp at the end of the show to shake a leg with Kareena and Manish.
Even after the show, the two were spotted holding hands and enjoying each other's company. When asked Kareena whether she considers Katrina her friend, the 30-year-old replied: "Of course she is my friend.
Why is it this question even being asked?" Guess there are no permanent friends or enemies in Bollywood! Tweet
(less)Did Shradha Sharma two-time Raja Chaudhary? | Bollywood News and Gossip
Says Neesha Yadav, “I know Raja Chaudhary for the last three years. It was quite apparent that Raja Chaudhary was madly in love with Shradha after his failed marriage with Shweta Tiwari, but Shradha Sharma was two and three-timing Raja Chaudhary.
She used him to get where she eventually wanted to – in the Bigg Boss House. And when she realized her goals were in sight she dumped him unceremoniously.
When asked about the fights between Raja and Shradha, Neesha said that Shardha was to blame because Raja used to get angry when he realized that Shradha was two-timing him. Shradha Sharma who is in the Bigg Boss house could not be contacted for her version, but her ‘good-friend’ Dj Jenny D dismissed all these allegations.
Shradha Sharma is a very nice girl. She cannot two-time anyone and she was fond of Raja while they were in a relationship.
Neesha Yadav is just trying to rake up the issue now that Shradha is in the Bigg Boss house,” she claimed. Shradha Sharma’s publicist said he would not comment on these allegations.

Veena Malik used to recite to us verses from the Quran, she even learnt to chant the Gayatri mantra, but all this was never shown," she said. Meanwhile, talking about her career and future plans, the actor says that she is open to any role that is exciting.
"I am not obsessed about doing films. I will not sit at home hoping for a film to come my way.
Also, it is not like I am choosy about doing films. I don't ask which banner is making the film.
What I look for is that the role should excite me. I don't want to be there just looking pretty and doing nothing," she said.
Shweta feels women get to dominate the small screen. "I feel women are ruling the small screen while men rule the big screen.
As most TV shows are women-centric, actresses get to perform strong women characters on small screen. Also, because there are more women who comprise the audience base for television shows.
..
they sympathise, relate to the protagonists in daily soaps," she said. Shweta who started her acting career in 1999 with the show Kaleerein shot to fame with Ekta Kapoor's serial Kasautii Zindagii Ki .
Some of her other popular television serials include Karam , Kahin Kissi Roz , Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat , Naaginn , among others. Recently, she did an item number - My Katto Gilehri in Chirag Paswan's debut film Miley Naa Miley Hum .
Shweta would be seen next in a television show titled Parrvarish - Kuchh Khatti Kuch Meethi , which is based on parenting. Her stint in Bollywood films include supporting roles in Anil Sharma's Madhoshi (2004), Benny And Babloo (2010) and Bin Bulaye Baraati this year.
She has also appeared in some Bhojpuri films. Tweet
(less)I choose my films on instinct: Naseeruddin Shah
I'm probably being offered better parts now than I was being offered five years ago or for that matter in my 35-year-old career," Naseeruddin, 65, told IANS in an interview. Naseer has given memorable performances in films "Ijaazat", "Sparsh", "Aakrosh", "Karma" and "Masoom", to name a few.
But in recent times, he has been proving his versatility over and over again without bothering about the screen time he gets. Whether it was the role of a cricket coach in " Iqbal", a common man ready to change the system in "A Wednesday", a conman in "Ishqiya" or a painter in " Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", he carried out every role with aplomb.
The length of the role isn't as important for him any more, as he says his priorities as an actor have changed over the years. "When I began my career in films, I had a lot of hopes, most of which have been fulfilled.
The hopes were to play varied roles and to be different in every movie. My priorities over the last 35 years have shifted a little.
"I'm still not averse to play great roles, but that is no longer the most important thing for me. Over the last 10 years I think I have come to a realisation of what an actor's role in a film should be.
That's why I have been participating in any movie that I feel needs support and in which I have faith. The size and the importance of the part has receded to secondary importance for me," said the actor, who received a Padma Bhushan award in 2003 for his contribution to Indian cinema.
Currently he is looking forward to his return as a lead in a film with Anurag Kashyap's production venture " Michael", directed by a newcomer, Ribhu Das Gupta. Naseeruddin plays a tainted cop, whose trials and tribulations have been narrated in the film.
"To get a script like 'Michael', where I was the eponymous character, it was a bonus to be present in practically in every frame. But my real reason for doing the film was because I feel it's a sensible film and it is a film that will be remembered.
"Actors are not remembered as persons but for the roles they do. So at the moment my priority is to be part of movies which will survive the test of time and the ones I am proud of," he added.
There's another criterion behind Naseeruddin's choice of films. "I choose my films on instinct.
My reason to do every film is different. I should just feel like doing it.
I believe in my instincts. When I decide to do a film, I don't think whether that film will work or not or whether it will fetch awards or not.
All I think is how can we make this film a good film." Watch Video'+'';} else {tmpdiV="";} var b1=""; var b2=""; var hid="526"; if(sldemsidcnt>1){imglinksh='View Images';}else{imglinksh='View Image';} var b2 = ''+''+ capt +''+ tmpdiV +''; bellyad.

(less)Raja abuses Shweta Tiwari, Abhinav Kohli | Bollywood News and Gossip
Senior Inspector R Prabhu of Malad police station said, “Raja Chaudhary forcefully entered Shweta’s house and assaulted her and her friend Abhinav Kohli.” He added, “As per court order, Raja is not supposed to go to Shweta’s residence.
But he breached the order. We have booked him for assaulting, trespassing, and abusing Shweta and Kohli.
He already has a number of cases against him, some at Oshiwara police station. And now we will extern him.
” Shweta, who approached the police last morning, said, she needed police protection as Raja has been doing this as a routine. The fourth and the latest complaint lodged by Shweta claims that Raja came to her residence at Shiv Shakti society at Chincholi Bunder in Malad at around 1 am on Tuesday.
“According to Shweta, Raja abused them, as he wanted to take their daughter with him,” Prabhu added. Now, Raja is all set to be a tadipar, thanks to the number of cases piling up against him.
Before this, he had created a ruckus at Shweta’s house in October, when she was an inmate at the Big Boss house. He had also slapped Kohli and abused Shweta’s mother.
Raja, meanwhile, is absconding. “Policemen had gone to search for him at his Lokhandwala residence, but he has fled,” Prabhu said.
Incidentally, Raja was detained last year at Sao Paola, Argentina, where he was shooting for a reality show. Allegedly, he was profane to his fellow contestants while inebriated.

(less)‘Unprofessional’ Vivek out of 'Shootout At Wadala'
However, Gupta doesn't 'want him' anymore. Tired waiting for the actor to get back with a confirmation, Gupta and producer Ekta Kapoor have not only decided to replace him but also ask Vivek to return the script that he had been keeping with him.
The fact that Vivek took too much time to revert back with a definitive answer irked Gupta. "We ran out of patience.
I don't put up with such behaviour. We don't want Vivek in the film now.
We have also asked him to return the script," said Gupta. Ekta, however, decided to remain diplomatic and simply added, "Gupta felt that he needed someone with a different personality than Vivek.
We abide by the director's vision." Vivek's inclusion in the project that already had Anil Kapoor and John Abraham as part of its cast had always been under the scanner.
After initial discomfort with the role, Vivek had told the media how excited he was about the film. The actor, however, had failed to revert with any confirmation as far as the director and the producer was concerned.
Both Ekta and Gupta, reportedly, want to start the project soon. They could not keep waiting for Vivek forever.
Finally, Gupta and Kapoor decided to inform Vivek that he was no longer required in the film. Meanwhile, Mumbai Mirror had reported how Sanjay Dutt had asked the actor not to opt for the film.
"Dutt's manager, Dharam Oberoi had told Vivek to stay away from Sanjay Gupta's film. Dutt wasn't too happy that his former friend Gupta was getting back to direction after so long," revealed a source close to the film.
Vivek Oberoi however, had a different story to tell. According to the actor, it wasn't his failure to respond but availability of dates that made him withdraw from the project.
"I have six films in my kitty and despite being friends , at times dates can be an issue. Nevertheless, I understand Gupta is angry since he is a friend.
But such things do happen. However, I would like to work with him in the future, dates permitting," said the actor.
The actor also added, "I have earlier spoken about my discomfort about the character that was offered to me, But I have now signed Bejoy Nambiar's film. The character that Bejoy has offered is better for me and the space I am in right now.
This is purely a professional decision and not personal at all. I wish Gupta loads of luck with Shootout At Wadala.

(less)Hrithik is a very busy man: Salman Khan
And link-ups. Salman Khan has braved them all over the years.
In a relaxed chat with Mumbai Mirror, the dabangg man puts everything straight. Finally.
December 27, 2011. Farhan Akhtar attended your birthday bash in Panvel.
So, is there a film in the offing? Just because he attends my party, it doesn't mean that I have to do a film with him. You have to remember that I know Farhan since he was a kid.
Thikh hai Farhan is Javed Sahab's son..
. and I would take Farhan with me on my bicycle.
So I know him since that age. He did offer you many films in the past.
..
Yeah..
. So? Ok.
So let's talk about Sanjay Dutt . He is a very shy person.
..
How did you..
.(he interrupts) Haan, he is very shy.
Baba is really shy. (Sanjay, who is sitting across Salman and talking to another journalist turns around and asks, "What happened?" Salman answers, "They are saying Baba is shy.
" To this Sanjay nods and says, "Yes, very shy." And the two burst out laughing.
) He doesn't talk much in public, we meant. Yes, he doesn't want to talk.
He isn't shy with the people he has grown up with. But he gets very shy with compliments.
Especially, if it is coming from a girl. So was it difficult convincing him to host Bigg Boss where he had to interact with a lot of people? Till the last moment we weren't sure whether he was going to do it.
Every time he would say, 'Yaar, what is this? Where am I? What am I doing?'. But once he rehearsed for it and knew what the format was, he opened up.
Sanjay is the funniest guy I have ever known. His sense of humour is amazing.
Plus, he has got this connect with people. Knowing him for so many years must've helped you co-host the show.
Yeah. I think we have known each other since.
..
1990?..
.(He turns to the side and asks, "Baba, how long have we known each other? I must have been 15 - 16 na?" A surprised Sanjay thinks about it and replies, "Not 15.
14.") Yeah.
So I was 14 and Baba was 17. Apart from your friendships, there are a lot of stories about your fights within the industry as well.
..
With whom? The latest being Hrithik..
. What is your equation with him today? Hrithik? See, I bump into him once in a while.
He is a very busy man. I am very busy too.
When he wasn't all that busy, he used to spend a lot of time with me. And I would rather have him spend time away from me with his films becoming huge hits, than him spending all his time with me in the gym and his films being flops.
You are known for being a true friend. You make an effort to get back your friends.
Like Himesh..
.you guys patched up and then Bodyguard happened.
..
It's not like I am having an affair with these guys. They are those friends who you are comfortable with while working with them.
When you are not working with them, they move away. And then you work again because there is a special relationship that you share.
Coming to Bigg Boss 5, do you think that the contestants have behaved too irresponsibly? I think that they shout without any reason just to get that extra footage (pauses). Unko lagta hai ki cheekhne chillane se kaam ban jaayega.
People like Rakhi Sawant and Dolly Bindra think that if they do these kind of things, they would win. But none of them have won.
Rahul (Roy) and Shweta (Tiwari) have won because they weren't like that. This year, you did what no other host has ever done.
You went in the house gave the inmates a piece of your mind..
. I had to do it.
I had to tell them what the country is feeling. Helen aunty watches the show and she didn't like it.
Everybody..
. my family, my friends asked me what was going on in the house.
They hated it. Outside Bigg Boss there is a bigger house.
If need be, main agle season mein bhi yeh karunga. Moving on.
..
Over the years, you've been linked with many women..
. (Interrupts) There are lots of them.
But all such rumours have stopped. You think you have become more cautious Has it stopped? (looks in disbelief) Really? (Looks at his manager.
Manager says, "Well, a journalist is claiming so." Both start laughing.
Then Salman looks at Sanjay, who is again caught off guard, and asks, "Baba, all these years of linkups, of late it has stopped..
.is it true?" Now even Sanjay joins in the laughter fest.
) I better do something now (Adds looking rather serious)

Kareena shared her sentiments in a casual tete-a-tete with her friend and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu producer Karan Johar for A date with Ek Main aur Ekk Tu - a show to be simulcast Feb 4 on ETC, Zee TV, Zing, Zee Cafe, Zee Studio, Zee Trendz and Zee Khana Khazana. Johar asked Kareena - "How do you feel when you see Saif in an intimate scene with another hot actress? Say in Race 2 , Saif has a bare-body scene with a Deepika in bikini, what would be your first thought?" To which, Kareena replied: "I'd be like 'Wow! How hot Saif looks'," and added: "I know how he looks bare bodied!" On a serious note, she said: "I am quite secure in my relationship with Saif and though I don't want to say too much too soon, I am quite content!" Recently Saif admitted how he thinks Kareena looks best only with him, and not with any of the other Khans of Bollywood that she has worked with.

(less)Ajay Devgn to dance at an award show
Till now, Ajay had maintained he'd never perform at an award show. In fact, he has been very vocal about his disdain for actors who do so, so why the change of heart now? A source close to the actor says, "Ajay actually refused this show twice when the channel approached him.
They came back to him a third time and requested him to at least listen to the concept. When he did, he liked it very much and agreed to perform.
" The Singham actor was offered a fat sum to do the show. Post his success, Ajay has become very popular with the masses and organisers are willing to pay him any amount to perform.
For the act, Ajay will mouth off dialogues from various films, dance and also do a mix of stunts. The act will be divided into three parts, with each part representing a regional dance form.
Special Chau dancers from Eastern India will be flown in for the same. His outfits will represent various regions of India and rehearsals start from November 15.
Ajay confirms, "The concept excited me and that's why I said yes." Does this mean that we will get to see more of his performances at shows and other events? "It depends on the concept.
The director of this act has designed it in a very unique manner and that's the reason I'm doing it."
(less)It's tough to convince me: Shweta Tiwari
..
', and played so many shades of a woman in that one show, that when someone offers me a role, I feel I have already done it in 'Kasautii..
.'.
So it is very difficult to convince me for a role," Shweta told IANS. However, the 31-year-old admits it was an instant decision to give a nod to Sony's "Parvarish", in which she plays a simple mother.
"When I got the script, and read it, I was ready to do the show. It is such a simple, true-to-life story, and I am sure this show will be a trendsetter for many such shows for future," she said.
Shweta earlier featured in fiction shows like "Jaane Kya Baat Hui" and "Naaginn", as well as reality shows like "Nach Baliye 2" and "Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao". She even participated in "Bigg Boss 4", and went on to become the first woman participant to win the show.
The actress, who is also active in the Bhojpuri film industry, is also keeping herself busy on the movie front. Recently she sizzled in an item number "Dil ka achar" in Bollywood film "Bin Bulaye Baraati" and is set to feature in more films too.
She says involving herself into so many different things is what keeps her creativity on the go. "This is called doing different characters.
This is called working in this industry. If you keep doing the same thing again and again, then it's like you are doing a nine-to-five job.
"I wanted to do different things, that's why I took part in dancing reality shows, singing reality shows, comedy reality show..
.that's why I did 'Kasautii.
..
', 'Jaane Kya Baat Hui', I played a negative role in 'NaaginN'..
.and now I am playing this simple, non-glamorous mother in 'Parvarish'," said Shweta, who raises an 11-year-old daughter Palak, single-handedly.
She says money is important, but not at the cost of the quality of her work. "I have tried everything in my life.
Yes, I am an actor, I want to earn money, I want to have a particular budget coming home. But just to earn that money, I can't keep doing the same thing again and again.
"I start getting frustrated and irritated soon. So I have to accept something which is close to my heart, and I enjoy working in.
That's why I keep doing different things," she said. Among Shweta's big screen projects is Indo-Pak movie "Sultanat" and she is also doing " Married to America" and "Gopal My Bro".
In "Gopal My Bro", she will feature alongside actor Karanvir Bohra, who played her son in "Kasautii..

(less)Bigg Boss 5 set to dazzle audiences
Pooja, who hogged limelight with Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar , will be one of the contestants of the Bigg Boss 5. She was earlier seen in reality shows like Nach Baliye, Khatron ke Khiladi and the most recent being Maa Exchange.
Known for often courting controversies, actor Shakti Kapoor is another contestant, while other names include actress Mahek Chahal, who was seen in Salman Khan-starrer Wanted and performed an item song in recently released film Yamla Pagla Deewana . This will be her second reality show. She was earlier part of a Norwegian reality show where she was the only Asian participant, sources closed to the actress said.
Shonali Nagrani, a model-turned-actress, has made appearances in films like Dil Bole Hadippa and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and has hosted a couple of TV shows as well. Actress Shraddha Sharma, who had grabbed eyeballs for her alleged relationship with Raja Chaudhary, estranged husband of television actress Shweta Tiwari, is also participating in the show.
Shradha, who was last seen in Emotional Atyachaar and Love Lockup on Bindaas channel, has been maintaining a low-profile for quite sometime. Celebrity transgender and social activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi has also made it to the list in keeping with the tradition.
Earlier, the likes of actor Bobby Darling and designer Rohit Verma had represented sexual minorities in Bigg Boss. Laxmi was also seen in other reality shows like Sach Ka Saamna and Raaz Picchle Janam Ka.

(less)Old so Gold!
And these words hold so true for some of our Bollywood actors as well. It is not just Ranbir, Imran, Katrina or Kareena (and so many other young stars) we like to see on the 70mm screen, we also love to watch actors who have crossed the half century of their lives.
This love shows in the number of movies that these actors do; and in the prominence of their roles. Whether it is veterans like Dharmendra (Yamla Pagla Deewana, Tell Me O Kkhuda), Rishi Kapoor (Patiala House, Agneepath.
Housefull-2), Vinod Khanna (Dabangg, Tell Me O Kkhuda), Naseeruddin Shah (That Girl In Yellow Boots, Michael); or actresses like Dimple Kapadia (Patiala House, Dabangg, Society Kaam Se Gayi), Shabana Azmi (Gangs of Wasseypur, Midnight's Children), Supriya Pathak (Mausam) amongst others, we still enjoy watching them recite those dialogues and shake a leg on screen. Even if it is about a show on television, these stars manage to garner TRPs much more than the younger generation.
Even in the recent past, we have seen actresses like Waheeda Rehman in Delhi-6 and Sharmila Tagore in Break Ke Baad in the same grace and beauty as before. Someone has rightly said, beauty increases with age.
And the talent and experience helps, of course!
