Milind gets a wild card re-entry in KKK3
The 44-year-old gave up sooner than anyone on the show when asked to do an underwater stunt in Rio de Janeiro's Teresopolis Farm. A national level swimmer, many were touting him as the likely winner.
After performing poorly, Milind claimed that it was the chilling six degree temperature underwater that caused his early elimination and expressed his lament at the loss. But the actor has a reason to smile now, as he will be back soon on the show to face danger with an improved attitude

Azim looks up to Salman, SRK and Aamir Khan
To make his character in "Qasam Se Qasam Se" appear realistic, Azim frequented call centre offices to absorb the finer nuances of the people working there. "It was quite a relevation for me as an actor.
I witnessed not only people's mannerisms but also the activities they indulge in during the break hour. Looking into the mirror, some guys would be busy ruffling their hair and taking care of their looks, while some would busy binging.
And there would others catching up with family and friends over their cell phones. This has helped shaped my character in the film.
" Azim feels that all our veteran actors were keen observers and would translate that on screen. "Whether it were the legendary actors like Dilip Kumar or the late Raj Kapoor or Dev Anand , they were schools in themselves.
I am a great fan of Salman Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan and look at them as a student who looks upon his guru. I am mastering the art of acting watching their films," he smiles

(less)I never thought I'd be a desirable woman: Sameera Reddy
"My name in the list means a lot to me. As as a young girl, I never thought even in my wildest dreams that I would become a desirable woman.
I yearned for a perfect body as I was ugly duckling in school. But now that I have entered films, I believe that beauty is hidden in the imperfections of people and it all depends on how you use them.
That's my definition of desirable and I am glad to have made it to the list," says Sameera. The actor is basking in the success of her last Tamil release opposite Madhavan and has Padma Shri Priyadarshan's Tezz to look forward to.
Sameera has now decided that she will do a mix of performance-oriented and glamorous characters on screen, something that Simran and Jyothika did in Kollywood. So is the report true that Sameera wants to become the next Simran and Jyothika? "You cannot become another person.
I had said that I look up to both Simran and Jyothika, who had a mixed bag of roles- performance-oriented and cute characters. Both had their own fan following .
They are my role models and I want to have a beautiful lineup of characters like them," says the actor
(less)Sherlyn Chopra likes being unconventional
Be it politics, cinema, sports, business or any other arena, women across the globe including India are in great form mentally, physically and consciously to undertake greater responsibilities and tougher challenges that are often encountered on paths less travelled." Sherlyn is also happy that she has gone from being just a pin-up girl to an entrepreneur.
Says she, "The rapid metamorphosis in my case would not have been possible had the mindsets of the majority of the people in the Hindi film industry continued to be goverened by prejudices. I look upto entrepreneurs who command respect and attention for daring to think out of the box and act accordingly.
They do not have a herd mentality. What they have is unadulterated creativity which is set on fire by courage.
" Naming films like " The Dirty Picture ", " Erin Brokovich ", " No One Killed Jessica "," The Black Swan " as cinema that has changed the way we think, Sherlyn says, "Unconventionality is no longer a taboo. It is being applauded and celebrated by both the classes and the masses.
The pulse of the youth is racing towards liberalisation. And I'm truly loving it.
" Asked why she decided to give us photographs that resembled those of the " Jism 2 " campaign, the actor quips, "I have pushed the envelope by choosing to cover my nakedness with nothing but pure consciousness."

(less)Flash mob greets Imran at New York University
"I had a blast at NYU. Everyone was so enthusiastic, they put on a very polished, confident show, and the surprise flash mob at the end was perfectly executed.
My best wishes to all the students involved," Imran said in a statement. The students had been practising for the performance for over two weeks, ahead of Imran's visit to New York as part of the promotional tour.
"As the president of NYU Dillagi, a Bollywood dance team, I knew we had to have simpler steps that the general public would be able to do and we sent videos out to the public. I thought that the flash mob came out even better than expected since people kept joining the mob throughout the sequence and it definitely surprised those that did not know of it ahead of time," Mohit Chhatpar, coordinator of the flash mob, said.
"It was really fun to be doing a flash mob and having Imran among us was all the more fun. He was very sporting and interacted with the students.
We are excited about this movie as well and are glad he could come and be among us to talk about his movie," he added. The Dharma Productions' film, also starring Kareena Kapoor, is set to hit theatres Feb 10.

(less)Mohit Suri to direct Aashiqui 2 with fresh faces
"It's been 20 years for that film. So, obviously now I will have to upgrade this story.
It will be the same realistic love story but with a modern theme," Suri told IANS. Aashiqui won critical accolades after its release at the time.
It also catapulted the careers of lead actors Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, who forayed into Bollywood with this film. Suri is also set to hunt for new faces for the sequel.
"I will cast fresh faces with a new boy and a new girl," said Mohit. While some are referring to Aashiqui 2 as a sequel, others are calling it a remake.
However, producer Mukesh Bhatt of Vishesh Films sets the record straight. "It is neither a sequel nor a remake.
It can be said as the musical series of Aashiqui ..
.a new generation is making this film," he said.

(less)Ratner, Murphy drop out, Brian Grazer steps in for Oscar show
The exits of Mr Ratner and Mr Murphy on consecutive days this week were an embarrassing collapse in the Motion Picture Academy's groundwork for its signature event and one of the most elaborately staged shows on television. But Mr.
Grazer's rapid agreement to pick up the producing job promises that things will proceed almost on schedule, if not exactly according to plan. Earlier on Wednesday the Academy announced that Mr.
Murphy was dropping out as the Oscar host, just one day after Mr. Ratner stepped aside amid a storm of criticism over his use of an anti-gay slur.
Their departures left the Academy scrambling not only to fill key roles on the show but also to protect its core asset, a telecast that brings it about $80 million a year. The unraveling began on Tuesday morning when Mr.
Ratner, named the Oscar co-producer on Aug. 4, resigned because of the furor provoked by his public use over the weekend of an anti-gay term, and a subsequent, salacious discussion of his own sexual habits on Howard Stern's radio programme.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation strongly objected to the derisive comment, and a flood of objections by Academy members and news-media commentators made clear that if Mr. Ratner remained in charge of the Feb.
26 Oscar show on ABC, the broadcast was going to be as much about Mr. Ratner as the movies.
On Wednesday Mr. Murphy followed Mr.
Ratner -- his friend and the director of his latest film, "Tower Heist" -- out the door. Producers and hosts work closely as a team on the telecast, and with Mr.
Ratner gone it was not surprising that Mr. Murphy would step aside as well.
"I appreciate how Eddie feels about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and we all wish him well," Tom Sherak, the Academy's president, said in a statement. In his own statement Mr.
Murphy said he understood and supported "each party's decision with regard to a change of producers." "I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I'm sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job," he said.
Whether Mr. Grazer might get Mr.
Murphy to return, given their mutual work on Tower Heist and the Nutty Professor films, remained an open question. On Tuesday Mr.
Sherak tried to cast Mr. Ratner's resignation as a teachable moment.
"It is our sincere belief -- as well as Brett's -- that this terrible event may ultimately raise awareness and yield some good," Mr. Sherak wrote in an e-mail to the Academy's approximately 6,000 members.
Mr. Sherak said he was joined in those sentiments by Dawn Hudson, the Academy's chief executive since June, and Ric Robertson, its chief operating officer.
If the Academy is squinting for a silver lining, it might also find another bright spot in the timing of the changes. With Mr.
Ratner and Mr. Murphy moving on, the Academy and its governors get another shot, sooner rather than later, at rebooting an annual ritual that still draws around 40 million viewers in the United States (and many more abroad).
It remains one of TV's biggest events, despite a widespread sense that it is losing its connection with an audience that wants to love it. Mr.
Ratner was to co-produce the show with Don Mischer, a past Oscar producer who remains in place. Though plans for the program were still being formed, they had intended to bring an extra-heavy dollop of comedy -- hence Mr.
Murphy-- to a ceremony that might not have looked much different from the variety-show-style ceremonies of years past. Mr.
Grazer, 60, is an old-school film producer who took Hollywood by storm almost 30 years ago with a clever comedy, Night Shift , directed by Ron Howard, Mr. Grazer's co-owner in Imagine Entertainment.
They followed with the romantic mermaid fable, Splash , that in 1984 became a hit for Mr. Howard and its stars, Tom Hanks and Darryl Hannah.
Mr. Hanks is among the Academy's governors, and has been a force in shaping its course in recent years.
Mr. Grazer, meanwhile, has become known for producing a rich mix of comedies, dramas and fantasies, one of which, A Beautiful Mind , won the best picture Oscar in 2002.
If Mr. Murphy does not step back in, the Academy will again confront the usual questions about whether to pursue an Oscar veteran, like Billy Crystal, who would know the drill and require less phase-in time, or fresh faces like last year's hosts, Anne Hathaway and James Franco.
One outside possibility would be Oprah Winfrey, who is being honored here this weekend at the Academy's Governors Awards. Mr.
Ratner has apologised for his comments, but from the beginning he was viewed by many in the industry as an unlikely choice for co-producer, because of his bad-boy image and history of Hollywood high jinks. Mr.
Grazer and Mr. Mischer will confront the rigidity of Oscar tradition, which insists on thank-you speeches, celebrity presenters and the inclusion of myriad awards for obscure short films, leaving little room for a producer to maneuver.
Only a little more than 30 minutes of a show that typically lasts for about 3 hours is actually devoted to programming. Speeches by winners and presenters fill perhaps twice as much air time.
But the Academy might find someone with fresh notions about how to connect viewers with the show, and, by extension, with the movies themselves. Tweet

Anushka Sharma too has joined the bikini club and she will be seen wearing it in Yashraj Film's (YRF) Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl.
YRF had got Esha Deol and Bipasha Basu to wear a two piece swimwear for Dhoom and Dhoom 2 respectively. Shazahn Padamsee, who joined the Housefull 2 team some time back, is very much keen on donning a bikini, but sadly for her, the film may not require any of its female leads to wear an itsy-bitsy outfit since the film's sequel doesn't demand so.
But, the perky actress is hoping that Sajid Khan brings in a twist in the tale and she gets the opportunity to wear a bikini. "I am full on.

(less)Reshmi Ghosh loses Rs 2 lakh to ATM hackers
In the past two weeks, more than three police officers and six others have also registered cases with the Oshiwara police complaining that cash has been withdrawn from their Axis Bank accounts by hackers. The police have registered FIRs in the cases and forwarded them to the Mumbai police's cyber cell.
On July 27, Ghosh's father, Subroto, deposited a cheque in a Kolkata branch of the Axis Bank when he learnt that Rs 2 lakh had been withdrawn from the account through a debit card. Following this, Subroto called Reshmi, but the latter denied withdrawing any cash.
Three days before that, Subroto had withdrawn Rs 15,000 from the account and the balance had stood at around Rs 4 lakh. "It is a joint account held by my father and me, and we have two debit cards for it.
My father usually takes care of the transactions. On July 27, my father called me up to ask about a withdrawal to the tune of Rs 2 lakh over two days.
I was shocked. I rushed to the bank's Lokhandwala branch and immediately stopped all payments," Reshmi said.
On August 6, Reshmi then registered a case of hacking with the Oshiwara police station. Cops said that when a debit card is swiped, say, in a mall, hackers are tuned in to the mall's machines using high-tech equipment.
They copy the card's details, including the CVV number, and pass them on to duplicate cards and remove money from the account. Ghosh's debit card was used at different ATMs between July 25 and 26, including those of Bank of Baroda in Santacruz, where transactions have been made seven times, and Standard Chartered in Koparkhairane, where six transactions happened.
"We have registered a case, but tracing the hacker(s) is difficult. We will now check the CCTV footage from the ATMs when the withdrawals occurred.
The cyber crime department is looking into the technical aspect of the hacking," said PI Vijay Kadam of the Oshiwara police station. A spokesperson for Axis Bank said, "We have received complaints from a few customers that cash has been withdrawn from their accounts from other banks' ATMs.
While we are investigating these complaints, we would like to inform that on August 1, Axis Bank filed an FIR with the cyber cell police station at Crawford Market about the discovery of an extraneous device attached to one of its offsite ATMs in Mumbai during a routine examination." "We are providing necessary assistance to the investigating agency.
Also, we will try to compensate our customers and reimburse the loss they have suffered." Ghosh has also acted in TV serials Kahe Naa Kahe and Karam Apnaa Apnaa and participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 4 .

(less)I'm a real desi boy: Akshay Kumar
"I want to produce commercial films. But if I get a good script, I would love to make a National Award-winning movie," Akshay, 44, who has spent two decades in Bollywood , told IANS in a telephonic interview from Mumbai.
The actor is all set to put a lid on 2011 with "Desi Boyz". Releasing Nov 25, the film will see him teaming up with John Abraham as a co-star.
Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the son of director David Dhawan , "Desi Boyz" also has Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh in the female leads. Akshay, a Punjabi who has spent many years in Delhi, says he has always been a "desi" at heart and his recent decision of communicating in Hindi shouldn't be taken as a marketing gimmick.
"I have always tried to speak in Hindi. It is because in real life I am a real 'desi' boy.
All my life I have believed that the day should start with touching the feet of my parents, that home cooked food is always better than outside food. I have always preferred ghar ka parantha to anything from outside," he said.
"Even if we go out for a movie, I prefer to watch Hindi films over English. So it was there in me, always.
I am very grounded that way," he added. The crackling chemistry of Akshay and John was the highlight of "Garam Masala" and Akshay says his friend and co-star has improved a lot since then.
"We are coming back together on the big screen after six long years. We were not offered any movies together during that period.
While shooting for this film, we had much more fun than we had in 'Garam Masala'. So, we were wondering why no one ever thought of casting us together all these years," said Akshay.
"We have become quite good friends now. And, trust me, John has improved a lot since then, especially his comedy timings.
The way he has improved his muscles, his comedy timing has also improved," he added. From being an action hero to doing comedies, Akshay tried different things and in his upcoming film "Desi Boyz" he will be seen stripping and doing pole dancing.
And what he liked about his character, Jerry Patel, is that it was a different role. "I had a lot of fun while doing this movie.
First of all I haven't played this kind of character ever. When the role was narrated to me, I knew this was something I wanted to do.
And, secondly, its director Rohit Dhawan told me the film is based on the real-life incident of two people who had to take extreme paths to survive during recession," he said. The action-comedy deals with how the life of two friends turns upside down when recession hits Britain and they are left with no choice but to strip and pole dance for a living.
And then the story has its twists and turns. Akshay made his mark with hits like "Khiladi", "Ajnabee", "Hera Pheri" and "Namastey London " and is all set to entertain his fans with interesting projects like "Joker", "Rowdy Rathore" and "Housefull 2" next year.
He turned producer in 2010 with "Tees Mar Khan" and later produced "Patiala House " and "Thank You" as well. Even though these films flopped at the box-office, Akshay is undeterred.
"I will always do a film I believe in, I can connect to and my fans can relate to it as well. So even if 'Patiala House' didn't do well commercially, it was critically acclaimed.
I was close to the film because it dealt with the emotional bond between a father and a son," he said. He made his presence felt with "Thank You" and "Speedy Singhs" this year and he was also seen in a special appearance in "Chalo Dilli"

(less)John is Bollywood's Mr Bean, says Akshay
They would be seen in Rohit Dhawan's upcoming film, Desi Boyz . "I think John has changed a lot since the time we worked earlier.
He has a fantastic comic timing. I feel the way his muscles have flexed up, his comic timing has also improved a lot.
In fact, I am learning comedy from John. His style of comedy is very laid-back.
Laid back in the sense, the way he delivers the dialogue is so effortless that it leaves an impact behind," Akshay told PTI in an interview. The 'Khiladi' actor compares John's comic timing to that of 'Mr Bean', a British comedy television programme starring English actor-comedian- screenwriter Rowan Atkinson in the title role.
"I think his comedy is somewhat similar to Mr Bean. He does laid-back comedy, his way of delivering dialogues is very slow.
..
that is another way of comedy. Like Mr Bean has a very laidback style of talking and audience will catch it up.
It is a very great qualification he (John) possesses. I have started learning from him.
Charlie Chaplin is loud, while Mr Bean is more subtle and laid-back," Akshay said. Akshay, who started off in Bollywood as an action-hero, later forayed into comedy.
His comic performances in films such as Hera Pheri (2000), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Garam Masala (2005), Hey Babyy (2007), Welcome (2007) and Singh is Kinng (2007) proved success. "It has been six years since we worked together in Garam Masala .
We were not very close at that time but the equation today is completely different. I am surprised that all this time no one wanted to do a film with us together.
Now we are doing not one but two films Desi Boyz and Housefull-2 ," Akshay said. "He is very hard-working and best-looking boys in the industry.
He is a model, walked ramp and now acting," he said. For the first time, Akshay would be seen opposite Chitrangada Singh, known for doing unconventional films, the actor has all praises for his dusky co-star.
"I loved working with Chitrangda. She is a very beautiful, dusky desi girl.
Whenever I look at her, she reminds me of Smita Patil, she has got that kind of beauty. She would rehearse her lines before coming onto the sets.
She knows exactly how she is going to play her scene," Akshay said. Recollecting an incident about Chitrangada, the 44-year-old actor, said, "She has done parallel films and this is her first commercial film.
During a promotional event, when she saw a huge crowd, she got frozen and I remember I was walking ahead and she was standing behind. The power of commercial cinema is different.
"I held her hand and asked her to come with me, while Deepika was walking in full confidence as she knows about it," he said. The film, which also stars Deepika Padukone, opposite John, releases on December 25.

(less)Mandeep Bevli out of Bigg Boss 5
She was nominated for elimination along with Pooja Missra, Amar Upadhyay and Mahek Chahal. The news anchor took a plunge on Nihita Biswas' sex life on the first day itself.
Biswas is married to 67-year Charles Sobhraj, also known as the "bikini killer", in 2008. But later, Mandeep took a back seat and maintained a low profile all through her stay.
Asked about her experience, she told IANS over phone: "The stay was very uncomfortable. I feel so happy and light now.
The persistent fights and the negative vibes made the atmosphere torturous at times." "I wanted to have more fun and add more zing but I couldn't do that.
From the second day itself--I got sick, the chill in the house made it worse day by day. So, it is very difficult to have fun with pain," she added.
Mandeep did try to stay away from controversies and tried to mend differences between the inmates. "I don't like fights, I can't stand them.
I tried my best to make things better and easier but the situation there is just beyond anybody. People are playing several types of 'dirty games' inside.
"Some are trying to be too sweet and back stab and the others are fighting for footage," said Mandeep, who plans to go back to Los Angeles now. Bigg Boss 5 , which started Oct 2, has celebrity participants locked inside an isolated house without any communication with the outside world.

(less)Jodi Breakers not a copy of Heartbreakers: R. Madhavan
"Let them read our script and point out even one similarity. I challenge them to prove we've copied even a frame," said Madhavan.
Directed by Ashwini Chaudhary, Jodi Breakers is a story of two individuals who break others' relationships but end up falling in love with each other. It has been reported that the film is embroiled in a plagiarism controversy ever since Heartbreakers distributors opened up about their doubts on the originality of Jodi Breakers .
But the makers of Jodi Breakers have offered to let the Heartbreakers team read the script from first page to last, provided they agree to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA). However, the Heartbreakers team is unwilling to sign the documents.
Madhavan, who has rushed to Chennai for the release of his new Tamil film Vettai wants to know why the Heartbreakers team is unwilling to take up the offer. "We've repeatedly asked them to sign an NDA and read our script.
Why aren't they accepting our invitation? If they find even a page similar, we'll do whatever is required. "The fact of the matter is, there are no similarities between our films, except the similar-sounding title.
Maybe in their hearts, they know it too. Why is it that every time a film's promos start, we have such allegations popping up? Substantiate your charge, please.
Or face the consequences," added the actor, who has been paired opposite Bipasha Basu in the romantic comedy. Also featuring Omi Vaidya, Milind Soman and Dipannita Sharma, the movie will release Feb 24.

We’ve known each other for the last six years but it’s only in the last five months that we have come closer and started enjoying each other’s company more. Today, our relationship is deeper and more intense.
” A source close to the couple says that they are a committed couple and wedding bells could ring for them by this year-end. There is no question of waiting for a divorce to come through as his previous marriage to French actress Mylene Jampanoi wasn’t registered either in India or France.
Milind reveals that the separation with Mylene was very amicable, “I am sure that if Mylene knew about my relationship with Shahana today, she would be very supportive about it.” Even so, they are not ready to get married just yet.
While Milind casually brushes it off with a “Not right now” Shahana is more vocal. She says, “No chance right now! I am only 23.
” Shahana takes pains to stress that they are not living together, “I am in a committed relationship and though we both love each other I am not living together with Milind. I am staying at my rented Juhu apartment and quite happy to be there.

(less)Madhavan, Bipasha play break up experts in Jodi Breakers
But in the film "Jodi Breakers", Madhavan and Bipasha Basu play experts who help people break up! Together on screen for the first time, Maddy and Bips play break-up specialists who guarantee quick and final freedom to their clients. "Jodi Breakers" is a cheeky entertainer that takes a look at dysfunctional romantic relationships.
It's the treatment and the characters that make all the difference, say its makers. The duo solve outrageous cases with a touch of humour.
Director Ashwini Chaudhary says, "Besides Madhavan and Bipasha, I have an interesting ensemble cast comprising Omi Vaidya, Milind Soman, Dipannita and Mrinalini Sharma, apart from the ever graceful Helen, weaving their charm on screen in this film." Madhavan adds, "I loved shooting for the film and have had the best time so far.
Bipasha was full of life and fun to be with. "Jodi Breakers" has been my most memorable film and I'll miss the people associated with it.
" Bipasha echoes a similar sentiment. She says, ""Jodi Breakers" is a unique romantic comedy.
Madhavan's pairing with me might make the film unusual, yet we share perfect chemistry on screen." The film is slated to hit theatres on February 24
(less)Scarlett Johansson doesn't regret her marriage
It's a waste of time to regret anything. I own all of my decisions, and I've led a very charmed life up until this point.
" Despite having no regrets, the 27-year-old beauty admits she has had "challenging" 12 months. She told Access Hollywood : "I've had ups and downs.
Certainly, this past year has had a lot of unexpected things in many beautiful ways, many challenging ways." When asked if she think she'll ever walk down the aisle again, Scarlett joked she thinks she would have to go undergo therapy to find out.
She said: "That's a deep question that I think probably requires a cheque for $250, and a couch - lying down." Despite their marriage failing, Scarlett has admitted her union with Ryan was the "best thing" she ever did.
She previously said: "It was the best thing I ever did. I'm a big believer in instinct.
Getting married was the right thing to do because it was natural. It grew out of romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody, and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be.

(less)Pooja Missra alleges favouritism in Bigg Boss
She later entered the show as the Hindi translator for Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds, who made an exit this week. But talks of Mahek's wild card entry seem to have agitated Missra.
"My eviction from the house on the grounds of me being violent was wrong and my second entry in Bigg Boss just proved that. Moreover, the wild card entry of Mahek into the house again is proof enough that there is favouritism happening in the house," Pooja told reporters here.
Mahek was evicted from the show on December 11. Also, there were allegations by Pooja Bedi that Mahek was favoured by the show's host, Salman Khan as she has worked with him in Wanted and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna .
Pooja also feels that the footage where Mahek is seen excessively talking about Salman has been edited. However, Mahek, termed the allegations as baseless.
"It's all a lie, never have I spoken about Salman in the house. So what if I have done two films with him.
All these are cooked up stories, to create controversy. I was nominated six times and it was due to audience votes that I could stay for a long time in the house," Mahek told PTI.
About her wild-card entry, she said, "The entry will be purely on the basis of audience votes. Now, I seriously, wish to come on the show and clear out things.

(less)Reunion time for Bipasha Basu
In time, they got busy with life and work and parted ways. But all of them were reunited after 10 years on the sets of Jodi Breakers.
Says a source close to Bipasha, "Bips used to be very close to Dipannita till they lost touch. Sharma had even surprised Bips on her birthday and attended the special screening of Players hosted by the Bongshell.
When the three met on the sets again they had a blast - catching up on the past few years over lunch."
(less)Bollywood soon, but not yet: Madhuri
When she was asked when she will be ready to spread smiles in tinsel town, Madhuri told IANS: "Well soon, not yet!" She is quite secretive about her work plans so far, but admitted she is adjusting well with her husband Sriram Nene, and two kids - Arin and Raayan. "Mumbai is treating me well.
I am smiling, so yes, it's great," she said. Madhuri, who delivered memorable performances in "Tezaab", "Ram Lakhan", "Sajan", "Beta", " Dil ", "Hum Aapke Hain Koun!", "Dil Toh Pagal Hai" and "Devdas", had shifted abroad after tying the knot in 2002 with US-based doctor Nene.
But now she has relocated to Mumbai. She accepted the role of a narrator to launch a new general entertainment channel Life OK!, and so there have been doubts whether Sony Entertainment Channel will let her sit on the judge's seat for the next season of dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" or not.
For now, the lady with a million-dollar smile, is on a mission to spread healthy smiles across the nation through the Smile India Campaign. "I always spread smiles for the country wherever I go.
But I want other people to do that more often. That's why I have associated with this smile movement.
"I have always been appreciated for my smile ever since I joined films and people have appreciated me for that. My fan base says that the best thing about you is your smile, and I felt this was a nice way to give back," said Madhuri.
The actress says the pre-requisite for a good smile is good teeth, and people should "brush twice a day, for two minutes each and visit the dentist every six months"

(less)Mandeep apologised for sex query: Nihita Biswas
I knew everyone would be curious, but I never thought people could go to that extent. I am quite young and don't talk about all these things.
..
so I was quite shocked," Nihita told IANS after being evicted from the Colors' reality show Saturday. Among many other questions asked, news anchor Mandeep Belvi, one of the participants, had asked Nihita: "Did you have sex with Sobhraj?" Nihita married 67-year Sobhraj, also known as 'bikini killer', in 2008.
Sobhraj is serving a 20-year life term in Kathmandu's Central Jail for the murder of an American backpacker in 1975. The question not just left Nihita's mother, Shakuntala Thapa, a senior lawyer practising at Nepal's Supreme Court, bewildered, but also the 23-year-old.
"I am not used to such questions and they should have exercised some restraint. But I must mention that Mandeep apologised later.
"She came up to me and said she shouldn't have asked me such a question on a public platform. She wasn't the kind of person I thought she was.
She is, in fact, one of the nicest inside the house," Nihita said. Nihita was pitted against VJ Pooja Missra for the first week's eviction.
She said she feels "cheated" with the verdict. "I was shocked to hear my name.
I am sure this was all specifically designed. Otherwise in my comparison, Pooja should have gone.
"I am a more popular person. But I have heard she has personal connections, and I am from another country.
So it wasn't fair at all. I feel quite cheated," she said.
Nevertheless, Nihita enjoyed meeting new people and learning a few things about Bollywood. Now, she is looking forward to going back to Nepal.
"I will be going back to my normal life," said the young girl, who spent just six days at the "Bigg Boss" house, where a total of 14 contestants were locked in Oct 2. And she is not ruling out coming back to the show.
"I hope I am brought back as a wild card entry or something because now I know the nature of the show. If Pooja Missra continues to use her connections.
..
hopefully she would be still there, and then if they take a 'panga' with me, I can be nasty too." Tweet
(less)I am very fond of Rana: Bipasha
But Bipasha does not bat an eye-lid while talking about them. And having lost oodles of weight, she is looking a million bucks.
Over steaming cups of coffee at a suburban five-star, she spoke to Mumbai Mirror about her career, men and moves Feeling good about your next film Players? Very much. While it is felt that I was added only recently, the truth is that I was cast long back.
It is just that the cat wasn't let out from the bag. The film has all the Abbas-Mustan ingredients- the twists, turns, plots.
I play an automobile expert who uses her charms to get things done. And you've donned a bikini in it.
We last saw you in a two-piece in Dhoom 2..
. It is the second time on celluloid yes, but the millionth time in real life (laughs).
I am quite a beach bum. But I won't wear a bikini in a movie for just the heck of it.
Do you know that I said 'No' to wearing one in Rohan Sippy's Dum Maro Dum? Players is a James Bondish flick, very fast and furious. The bikini suits it.
There's more on this bikini..
. Sure.
..
I wanted to look like a total woman before I got into it. I told Abbas-Mustan to inform me a month prior to the day they want me for that particular scene.
Once they sounded me off, I did some beach-body training. I am very small around my lower body; I put on some muscle to look fuller.
And I went on a diet, which sucks. I am a full-on Bong and I badly wanted gulab jamuns and jalebis on many days, lekin nahin khaya.
You wear a bikini but you don't like to kiss on screen? Your information is right. But isn't kissing very different from wearing a bikini? Kissing is also very different from doing a lovemaking scene, where we just cheat.
We don't make out in real, do we? Locking lips is a very intimate emotion. Yes, I did kiss Ranbir in Bachna Ae Haseeno, but I didn't sleep a month before shooting that kiss.
I kept telling Aditya Chopra to change that scene, I even told him to convert it into a lovemaking scene but ..
. (shrugs).
Do you believe in commitment and marriage? Absolutely. My parents are still die-hard romantics.
But what makes you suddenly ask that? Oh, so now the sticky questions eh? Coz' its' said that John and you ended your 10-year long relationship because you wanted marriage and he did not? Sirf ek cheez se rishte nahin toot jaate. Bahut kuch life mein hota hai, phir jaake rishte bigadte hain.
Above all, destiny comes into play. Was it painful? Was it difficult to overcome? Breakups are always tough and I have had my share.
But one needs to understand that life can't come to a standstill if a relationship doesn't work out. People do get stuck; I am glad that I did not.
I used a bit of my intellect and friends-n- family contributed to pull me out from that tough period. Today, I am so free and light.
Post your relationship with John, you dated many guys- Josh, Shahid, Rana. Howzzatt! I just told you that I am free and light.
If one has been going around dating someone, he /she is not free and light. Then what's going on between you and Shahid? I was never dating Shahid.
So how could we have parted ways? But I am still very much in touch with him. He and I talk to each other every day.
What's going on between you and Rana? I meet Rana. I am very fond of him.
He is very sweet. We get along like a house on fire.
But I am not dating him. And he isn't my best friend in the industry either.
Listen, I am a very responsible girl. Dating is a very frivolous word.
When I started off with John, I was only 22-23. I am extremely mature now.
If I get into a new relationship, I shall announce it in a dignified manner. And I shall have marriage in mind with that person.
I wish I get someone like R Madhavan. What! Why someone like R Madhavan? He is so good at his work, so very caring for his wife, so very accommodating with his friends.
I want someone like him. Someone younger and fitter than him.
Also, he is so secure, well read and humorous. Aise log aajkal nahin milte.
Bahut kam hain. Lekin I tell you, mujhe milega Madhavan jaisa koi.
But you were involved with Josh (Hartnett)? Kuch toh tha Josh ke saath..
. Kyun bataun main kya tha? (laughs).
Okay, he was very nice. But he doesn't live in India.
It was impractical. Two people can like each other but nothing ever will happen out of it.
It was something like that. So you took a back step? Possibly.
But it was never said. In the past, my heart used to rule over my head.
But now, my head is in sync with my heart. Back to John.
Like how you keep in touch with your exes- Milind, Dino and Josh, would you keep in touch with him? Certain bonds never break. We spent some nice moments in the past, how can I start disrespecting them? But I can't say the same about John; it's too early (stares at the ceiling).
That reminds me, you and John don't even exchange pleasantries if and when you'll bump into each other at a gym in Bandra? I am a fitness freak. Gym time is totally my time.
So why should I give any of it to some ex-boyfriend of mine? And you know, I remove my lenses when I exercise. So thereafter, I am blind.
Besides, I have a three-month memory. All the more reason that you talk to him since you'll parted ways nearly a year ago? As a new person? No.
I remember John's face (laughs). Okay, I'll talk to him (thinks).
But why should I talk to him? Talk to him and do what? Will you do a movie with him? Sure. He is a good-looking, saleable actor.
Back to your work. Tell us your forthcoming films? And have you really resolved your issues with the Bhatts? Players, Jodi Breakers and Singularity.
As for the Bhatts, Mahesh and Mukesh are very nice people. Mukesh is a bit sensitive, though.
But you see, I have been like their little baby. And they still feel the same about me.
Raaz 3 is not only homecoming for me but easily my most challenging role till date (pauses and then suddenly gets up). Gosh!I have to rush to the gym.
Wanna join me? The first thing that comes to Bips' mind when she thinks of: Dino Morea Cute butt Milind soman Dashing Shahid kapur Dancer Josh hartnett Worldly wise Rana dagubatti Tall John abraham Nothing

The suprise party was held on the actress's terrace at her Khar apartment with the place decorated like a discotheque with strobe lights, flashing disco balls and red, pink and white balloons and white lilies which Bips loves. The specially-designed ambience was created for Bipasha who loves dancing.
They had even ordered a specially-designed cake made of fresh fruit, cream and sponge for Bipasha as she doesn't like chocolate cakes. Bipasha says, "I have told all my friends that I want a surprise birthday party from them and they were aghast and said 'You are destroying the party for us.
' But I really wanted them to do something big for me or the whole year I am going to kick them." Says Bips, "I plan to throw a party tonight with my close friends and family.
After that, we will go clubbing as I love dancing! It will just my close group of friends including Rana Daggubati, Shahid Kapoor , Ranbir Kapoor , Dino Morea and Milind Soman. I miss my childhood birthday parties where we used to have cake, samosas, potato chips and games.
Once we had a pyjama party on my birthday and it was so wild that in the morning, there was cake on my ceiling!." Any birthday wishes? "I don't want love this year.
It's very easily available. I want all my films to be big successes.
2010 was a lousy year for me but 2011 was fantastic. I want 2012 to be even better.
" PS: Ex-boyfriend John Abraham was missing from the guest list! For all the right reasons, we assume ?

(less)The fate of Bollywood movies in 2012: Part 2
13) Talaash (Releasing on 1st June 2012. Verdict: Hit):- The title of this Aamir-Rani -Kareena starrer adds up to Number 18 - which is not a positive octave of Number 9.
There are some films which have the 'luck' attached to it and 'Talaash' may just click simply because of that factor. Aamir (14th March 1965) will be entering his 48th year soon which once again is a great phase for him and that's the film biggest trump card.
Even Rani Mukherji (21st March 1978) and Kareena Kapoor's (21st September 1980) fortunes are riding high and the film will ensure superb collection. Tip: When you have actors with a midas touch, half the battle is won.
14) Rowdy Rathore (Releasing on 15th June 2012. Verdict: Flop):- The title of this UTV and Sanjay Leela Bhansali venture adds up to Number 46 - which is a favorable number.
But actor Akshay Kumar (9th September 1967) running in his 45th year is passing through a topsy-turvy phase in his career. While the film and his role will be appreciated by a few, a certain section of the audience may just dislike it totally.
After a successful debut, Sonakshi Sinha (2nd June 1987) may also receive mixed reviews. Tip: The UTV -Sanjay Leela Bhansali collaboration seems to be jinxed.
15) Teri Meri Kahaani (Releasing on 22nd June 2012. Verdict: Flop):- The title of this Kunal Kohli produced and directed enterprise is adding up to Number 36 - which is a lucky number promising authority, power and command.
But like there is a saying 'Man proposes, God disposes' - the year 2012 (Number 5 - Mercury) does not support anything to do with Number 9 ( Mars ) and hence the film will fail to even take off. The compound number arrived by adding the release date is also Number 5 which will further mar the prospects of this love story.
Even the lead pairs Shahid Kapoor (25th February 1981) and Priyanka Chopra's (18th July 1982) real life on - off romance may not be able to attract people in hordes and salvage the show. Tip: Shahid in his 31st year may not have a memorable 2012 while Priyanka in her 30th year might have to remain happy just with prasises galore for doing good work.
16) Dangerous Ishq (Releasing in June 2012. Verdict: Hit):- The title of this Vikram Bhatt thriller adds up to Number 46 - one of the most powerful octaves of Number 1.
It is also amongst the best numbers for the supremely talented Karisma Kapoor (25th June1974) who's making her comeback after a hiatus with this 3D film. She running in her 38th year will prove extremely lucky for her and it will rub off on the film as well.
Tip: For best results, the film should release on 22nd June 2012. 17) Barfii (Releasing in July 2012.
Verdict: Flop):- The title of this long in the making film is vibrating on Number 15 - which is a very lucky and powerful octave of Number 6 with strong magnetism, but also has a certain voluptuous temperament. Going by the meaning derived from it, the film will appeal only to a class audience and the rest may remain indifferent.
Both Ranbir (28th September 1982) and Priyanka (18th July 1982) in their 30th year will give award worthy performances but the box office rewards would clearly be missing. Tip: The film was originally spelled as 'Barfee'.
The makers should immediately go back to that spelling as it vibrated on a much better Number 23 (Mercury) which is directly supporting the year 2012. 18) Bol Bachchan (Releasing on 6th July 2012.
Verdict: Hit):- The title of this Ajay Devgn-Abhishek Bachchan action comedy is adding up to Number 37 - which is 'good news' as it is a very favorable number. Whil Abhishek (5th February 1976) will bring in the laughs and pull the house down, Ajay (2nd April 1969) will succeed in adding a dose of thrill.
Tip: The trio of Ajay Devgn-Abhishek Bachchan-Rohit Shetty which did not find many takers in their last attempt 'Zameen' will be hitting the 'bulls eye' this time. 18) Ek Tha Tiger (Releasing in August 2012.
Verdict: Super Hit):- The title of this Eid attraction coming from Yashraj Films vibrates on Number 32 - which is a lucky number usually associated with combinations of people and nations. Just that the person should hold to his/her own judgment and opinions, if not, his/her plans are likely to become wrecked by the stubbornness and stupidity of others.
The year 2012 which adds up to Number 5 (Mercury) being directly in sync with the name of the film would make it one of the biggest hits of the year. Salman (27th December 1965) in his 47th year and Katrina (16th July 1984) in her 29th are capable of breaking all box office records.
Tip: As the exact release date hasn't been decided, coming on 3rd or 24th August would be the best option. 19) Joker (Releasing on 30th August 2012.
Verdict: Hit):- The title of this fantasy adventure 3D film adds up to Number 17 which is an extremely fortunate number. Plus the year 2012 (Number 5 - Mercury) is supportive of people, places, names etc.
which vibrate on Number 8 (Saturn) and hence the film may actually turn out to be a delightful experience. Akshay (9th September 1967) in his 45th year would be liked for his work while Sonakshi (2nd June 1987) would also make her presence felt.
Tip: Director Shirish Kunder may finally get it 'right' this time. 20) Raaz 3 (Releasing on 31st August 2012.
Verdict: Hit):- The title of this 3D horror film adds up to Number 14 - which is fortunate for dealings with money, speculation and changes in business, but there is always a strong element of risk and danger attached to it, generally owing to the actions and foolhardiness of others. From the meaning derived from it, this one will take you on an enjoyable ride and everyone involved with the project from actors Emraan Hashmi, Sunny Leone, Rahul Bhatt and director Vikram Bhatt will tend to gain from this project.
Tip: Vikram will complete his 'hat-trick' with the success of this film. 21) Heroine (Releasing in September 2012.
Verdict: Hit):- The title of this Madhur Bhandarkar production adds up to Number 30 - which is good, but nothing great. His most ambitious project till date, Madhur is likely to receive both bouquets and flak/ brick bats in this Bollywoodised version of his own 'Fashion'.
Kareena (21st September 1980) in her 33rd year will be loved across the board for putting her heart, sweat and blood in a role which most actresses wait for a lifetime to play on screen. Tip: The movie will turn to be too much of a predictable fare who people who always expect something different Madhur every time.
22) Khiladi 786 (Releasing in November 2012. Verdict: Flop):- The title of this Akshay Kumar - Himesh Reshammiya jointly produced and enacted film is vibrating on Number 38 - which is a very unlucky number.
It denotes uncertainties and treachery. It foreshadows trials, tribulation, unexpected dangers, unreliable friends and deception caused by members of the opposite sex.
It gives grave warning if it comes out in anything concerning future events. Akshay (9th September 1967) who is Number 9 (Mars) person does not gel with a Number 5 (Mercury) at all and fellow partner Himesh (23rd July 1973) is directly ruled by this number.
A perfect recipe for a 'disaster'. As a result, the movie will be a box office dud.
Tip: Their association will soon go kaput and this may be their first and last project together. 23) Race 2 (Releasing on 30th November 2012.
Verdict: Hit):- The vibration of the sequel to the 2008 hit film is summing up to Number 13 - contrary to popular belief, this number is not unfortunate. Just that, it is symbolized as a power which should not be misused or it may wreak destruction upon itself.
In short, the second part will turn out to be a bigger success and all the actors namely Saif Ali Khan (16th August 1970), Anil Kapoor (24th December 1959), John Abraham (17th December 1972), Deepika Padukone (5th January 1986), Jacqueline Fernandez (2nd June 1985) and Ameesha Patel (9th June 1975) will 'race' ahead in their respective careers post the release of this film. Tip: The movie should hit the screens on 23rd November 2012 as that's the best date to extract fantastic results.
24) Son Of Sardar (Releasing on 30th November 2012. Verdict: Flop):- The title of this Ajay Devgn produced venture is adding up to Number 43 - which is an unfortunate number symbolized by the signs of revolution, upheaval, strife, failure and prevention.
The film may draw unnecessary attention due to some controversy or the other during its release, but even that may not impress the audiences to make a beeline outside cinemas. Tip: Even powerhouse performers like Ajay Devgn (2nd April 1969) and Sanjay Dutt's (29th July 1959) antics may fail to draw enough attention.
25) Dabangg 2 (Releasing in December 2012. Verdict: Super Hit):- The title of this sequel to the 2010 blockbuster film vibrates on Number 21 - which is symbolized by the picture of 'the Universe' and it is also called 'the Crown of the Magi'.
It is a number of advancement, honors, elevation in life and general success. This one will break the records of the first part and many other films released during the year 2012.
Every section of the audience will simply lap this film up without giving any second thoughts and it would make this - the highest grossing film of the year. Tip: The best is reserved for the last in 2012.
Releasing the film on the 14th or the 21st of December will be my advice to producer and first time director Arbaaz Khan
(less)Jason Statham not replacing LaBeouf in Transformers
However, the 44-year-old actor, whose girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replaced Megan Fox in Transformers: Dark of the Moon has slammed the speculations. "You know, I don't know how those things start.
You read them. Someone told me about it.
[But] the internet is a dangerous place. There's a lot of stuff out there," he said.
Though denying his involvement in the next Transformers films, Statham still sang praises of director Michael Bay. "I've got a lot of stuff in front of me, but Michael Bay is a talented man.
This last one just made a billion dollars around the world, so people like his films. He's a talented man," said the British actor.

(less)Jodi Breakers' not a copy of 'Heartbreakers: R. Madhavan
"Let them read our script and point out even one similarity. I challenge them to prove we've copied even a frame," said Madhavan.
Directed by Ashwini Chaudhary, "Jodi Breakers" is a story of two individuals who break others' relationships but end up falling in love with each other. It has been reported that the film is embroiled in a plagiarism controversy ever since "Heartbreakers" distributors opened up about their doubts on the originality of "Jodi Breakers".
But the makers of "Jodi Breakers" have offered to let the "Heartbreakers" team read the script from first page to last, provided they agree to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA). However, the "Heartbreakers" team is unwilling to sign the documents.
Madhavan, who has rushed to Chennai for the release of his new Tamil film "Vettai" wants to know why the "Heartbreakers" team is unwilling to take up the offer.
Also featuring Omi Vaidya, Milind Soman and Dipannita Sharma, the movie will release Feb 24
(less)Why there will never be another Shammi Kapoor!
While I may need to write several pages to truly do justice to the 79-year-old actor, who made a permanent place for himself in Indian film history with his inimitable dance moves and his yahooisms through the 50s-70s; three decades during which he acted in super hits like Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Professor, Junglee, Kashmir Ki Kali, Ujjala, Teesri Manzil , Brahmachari and Andaz; the first picture that came to mind was a fairly recent one. I was at Shammi Kapoor's South Mumbai home to interview him when his bhabhi Krishna Kapoor arrived.
And it was truly touching to see Shammi wheel himself out to bend and touch Krishna's feet. It was a routine gesture but it brought a lump to my throat.
The act said a lot about the tehzeeb (the culture) that the Kapoors; at least the Raj, Shammi, Shashi generation were proud about. The actor who was suffering from a kidney ailment had to make regular trips to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital for his dialysis.
Often he would get fever for a day or two after his dialysis and suffered severe discomfort. But his zest was always Kapoorish - in other words, larger than life.
"I've seen life, I've seen too many deaths," he often said lamenting the loss of his father Prithviraj Kapoor, his elder brother Raj Kapoor , his samdhi, film-maker Manmohan Desai, his first wife, actress Geeta Bali. Till the end, his father Prithviraj remained the greatest influence in his life.
Manmohan Desai often said, "My first brush with superstardom came when I directed Shammi Kapoor. He, according to me, is India's first superstar and the most stylish actor ever seen by Bollywood.
" A true-blue Libran Shammi was fond of all things beautiful and though he had let himself go in his later years to being obese, he still had an unmatched sense of style. Dressed in spotless white pyjamas with coloured kurtas, a huge teeka adorning his forehead and a rudraksh round his neck, the actor's grey-blue eyes and beard rendered him handsome even till a few years ago.
Vishwapratap, one could almost feel the walls of his house tremble because of the sheer impact of his personality. While recounting tales of his youth, Shammi confessed to sowing a few wild oats in the days before he married superstar Geeta Bali.
However he hated the tag of a flirt. "We were very discreet with our relationships,'' he said.
And defended his wild, party animal image with saying, ``I was a bachelor and I was earning well. Naturally I was gave into certain temptations.
"' For someone who grew up in the shadow of being India's biggest showman Raj Kapoor's brother and later being superstar Geeta Bali's husband, Shammi carved a niche for himself. He often thanked his wife Geeta and his dad for changing him from being a vagabond to a responsible family man and a huge star.
"It all happened after my first born Aditya came. I changed after that," he remembered.
Since he wanted a definite image to make his own mark, Shammi shaved of his moustache, cut his jeans and came sliding down snow mountains with his ecleptic fits on the screen. He stayed in Chembur and saw his stardom reach heights.
Life was a dream till he lost Geeta in January 1967. He often confessed that he tried to drown his sorrows in alcohol and affairs but he was pulled out of his misery by his second wife Neela Devi.
His quest for spiritualism led him to a sober innings..
.and in the end the only thing that excited him was technology.
The net savvy actor who was an inspiration for an entire generation like Aamir Khan and Salman Khan , often spent his time "Yahooing" but this time from his bed-side. Imtiaz Ali remembers the Yahoo star "How are you feeling, sir?", Shammiji asked Rockstar director Imtiaz Ali on one of the days of the shoot.
"How am I?", he asked himself. "I have been on dialysis for the last ten years.
I am on the wheelchair, I have lost two more toes in an operation a few days back, my tail bone had fractured so I cannot sit for long because I am in pain..
..
But I am fine. I am fine," he said with a vengeance.
"Shammi Kapoor can't be lamented. We can only lament for ourselves that he has decided to walk away.
We all knew that the Rockstar is on set today, and all of us - Ranbir included - were just his attendants," said Ali. INSPIRATION ALWAYS Deepika Padukone: He was an inspiration not just for his style and the films he did, but also his attitude towards life.

"How am I? I have been on dialysis for the last 10 years." I am on a wheelchair, I've lost two more toes in an operation a few days back, my tail bone's fractured, I can't sit for long because of the pain.
But I am fine," he said. Then he showed me the thumbs up and smiled.
"I am fine." Such a soul as Shammi Kapoor can't be lamented.
We can only lament for ourselves that he has decided to walk away. I feel the blessing, the good fortune that all of us had to have met him, to have seen his smile, to have touched his feet and hugged him, to have felt the warmth of his presence that permeated each corner of the set.
Everyone was in top form when he was there. We all knew that the rockstar was on sets and all of us including Ranbir were just his attendants.
"Thanks for the blessing Shammiji. Haan, hum tumhein yoon bhula na paayenge.
Jab kabhi bhi sunenge geet tere, sang sang hum bhi gungunaenge. And once again, to you from all of us Yaaahhhhooooo," the director signs off.

(less)Milind Soman talks about divorce with ex wife and his relation with Shahana | Bollywood News and Gossip
However at IIFA the couple was seen holding hands and speakin candidly to the media about their relation. Says Milind “”It’s true that Shahana and I are in love and are dating each other but we aren’t moving in together.

(less)Juhi Chawla to turn singer?
Singing is something that I am getting hang of. I may take up singing in future for sure," said the actress who is focusing on off beat films these days.
In last few years she has been seen in films like "My Brother Nikhil", "Jhankaar Beats" and "3 Deewarein". Her last release was the critically acclaimed film "I AM".
Though the film has been appreciated a lot, Juhi didn't get any awards for her performance. However, the 44-year-old is not concerned as she believes in associating herself with strong content.
"It's heart-warming..
.wherever 'I AM' has been showcased, I get a wonderful response from audiences.
It's a low budget film, we couldn't do marketing on a large scale. I believe the content matters more than anything else.
"Awards or no awards, it doesn't matter if your audience likes your film. The world will realise it someday.
I am anyways not bothered about it," she said. The former Miss India , who hails from Ludhiana, will now be seen playing a Punjabi woman in the romantic comedy " Son Of Sardar ".
"'Son Of Sardars' as the title itself suggests is about the Punjabi family and I am playing a Punjabi woman in it. It's a typical Punjabi life where they have a house in the middle of the farm.
It's a mad family. It's a feel good humor," Juhi told to IANS.
The film is being directed by Ashwani Dhir and is produced by Akshay Kumar's production house Hari Om Entertainment. It also features Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha .
Juhi, who will be share screen space with Sanjay Dutt in the film, says: "He is a really sweet guy. It's great working with him.
I have just worked with him for two days for this film."

(less)My face best suits a villain: Milind Gunaji
As he gives us yet another reason to hate him once again for his wicked character in his forthcoming Marathi flick, Sambha, the actor jokingly says, "I think God has given me a face that best suits a villain! Also, actors get tagged very easily in this industry and that's what has happened in my case." PT gets the actor to talk about not just villainy, but also his first comedy film, his love for travelling and lots more.
..
Action and fun All set to explore his comic side for the first time in Navin Batra's Hindi flick Dharna Unlimited, Milind Gunaji says, "There is a lot of situational comedy in the film and I play a Maratha Sardar. The audience can expect to fall off their seats while watching this one.
" If this film is full on masti, then his role in Sambha will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Says Milind, "Sambha's an out-and-out action film.
I play a politician, who has connections with the underworld. The action and villainous thrill is what makes the role so exciting.
" However, does he feel that he's on the wrong side of age for an action flick? "The concept of 'age limit' is almost wiped off in the entertainment world today. If Sanjay Dutt or Suniel Shetty can still carry off an action-based role, I am much younger!" Looking hut ke While the actor is experimenting with his roles, his bearded look has been a constant.
Why no experimentation on that count? He says with a laugh, "Actually, someone once told me that with a stubble, I resemble Clint Eastwood; so I just stuck with it! Seriously speaking, I just did not feel the need to change my looks." Speaking about looks, tell him that he looked every bit royal in the TV serial Veer Shivaji and he says, "I had always aspired to play Shivaji, as his character is very close to my heart, but unfortunately, my height is more than what he was believed to be! However, playing Shahaji was equally satisfying.
" And what about that bare bodied, sexy look that he recently sported at a jewellery fashion show in Pune? He says with a smile, "Modeling satisfies my ego and gives good monetary returns!" Pune on my mind Milind is a Mumbaikar, but Pune has a special place in his heart. The actor says, "Being an ardent fan of Hindustani classical music, I have been a regular at almost all Sawai Gandharva fests.
It's an experience that only this city can provide. I love the Maharashtrian thali food here.
I have this fetish of searching for the smallest of food joints tucked away in every city I visit. Ranjai and Jaggu Bhai's dhaba are two such finds.
For a long time now, I have been the brand ambassador of a very popular clothing brand of the city. Most importantly, Pune is surrounded by forts, which makes it the epicentre of all my travel plans.
" 'Out of the world' Speaking about exploring Harishchandragad along with Uddhav Thackeray, Milind says, "Uddhav and I were neighbours and our friendship goes back a long way. He asked me to accompany him when he was taking aerial pictures of Harishchandragad located on Malshej Ghat in Ahmednagar District.
It was an out of the world experience." Having hosted his travel show Bhatkanti and Discover Maharashtra, the actor is trying hard for a tie up with an international channel.
"If the heritage forts of Maharashtra get covered on this channel it will be a dream come true for me," says Milind

(less)This is ad vulgar as it gets
And if these were sexual in nature then a ban was almost certain. Several condom ads were banned in the 1990s by the industry watchdog - Advertising Standards Council of India.
Milind Soman-Madhu Sapre in the buff for Tuff shoes, and the Pooja Bedi-Marc Robinson in a Kamasutra commercial were banned. Year 2011, things haven't changed much.
Ads are still banned routinely without much consultation with the consumer, for whom it is intended. To a generation that is extremely internet savvy, it's certainly blasphemous to talk about sex, condoms, and even underwear, isn't it? In May, a couple of deo ads were banned for their sexual content.
The ASCI was directed by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to take action against them as they depicted women as sexual objects, and were obscene and vulgar. While the government's stand against these ads instantly sparked a debate on how much control is too much when exercised by the legislators, there are no two ways about the fact that no ad is okay to make it to national television unless bade bhaiya approves it
(less)Scarlett Johansson doesn't regret her marriage
