Azim looks up to Salman, SRK and Aamir Khan
To make his character in "Qasam Se Qasam Se" appear realistic, Azim frequented call centre offices to absorb the finer nuances of the people working there. "It was quite a relevation for me as an actor.
I witnessed not only people's mannerisms but also the activities they indulge in during the break hour. Looking into the mirror, some guys would be busy ruffling their hair and taking care of their looks, while some would busy binging.
And there would others catching up with family and friends over their cell phones. This has helped shaped my character in the film.
" Azim feels that all our veteran actors were keen observers and would translate that on screen. "Whether it were the legendary actors like Dilip Kumar or the late Raj Kapoor or Dev Anand , they were schools in themselves.
I am a great fan of Salman Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan and look at them as a student who looks upon his guru. I am mastering the art of acting watching their films," he smiles

(less)I never thought I'd be a desirable woman: Sameera Reddy
"My name in the list means a lot to me. As as a young girl, I never thought even in my wildest dreams that I would become a desirable woman.
I yearned for a perfect body as I was ugly duckling in school. But now that I have entered films, I believe that beauty is hidden in the imperfections of people and it all depends on how you use them.
That's my definition of desirable and I am glad to have made it to the list," says Sameera. The actor is basking in the success of her last Tamil release opposite Madhavan and has Padma Shri Priyadarshan's Tezz to look forward to.

Be it politics, cinema, sports, business or any other arena, women across the globe including India are in great form mentally, physically and consciously to undertake greater responsibilities and tougher challenges that are often encountered on paths less travelled." Sherlyn is also happy that she has gone from being just a pin-up girl to an entrepreneur.
Says she, "The rapid metamorphosis in my case would not have been possible had the mindsets of the majority of the people in the Hindi film industry continued to be goverened by prejudices. I look upto entrepreneurs who command respect and attention for daring to think out of the box and act accordingly.
They do not have a herd mentality. What they have is unadulterated creativity which is set on fire by courage.
" Naming films like " The Dirty Picture ", " Erin Brokovich ", " No One Killed Jessica "," The Black Swan " as cinema that has changed the way we think, Sherlyn says, "Unconventionality is no longer a taboo. It is being applauded and celebrated by both the classes and the masses.
The pulse of the youth is racing towards liberalisation. And I'm truly loving it.

(less)Flash mob greets Imran at New York University
"I had a blast at NYU. Everyone was so enthusiastic, they put on a very polished, confident show, and the surprise flash mob at the end was perfectly executed.
My best wishes to all the students involved," Imran said in a statement. The students had been practising for the performance for over two weeks, ahead of Imran's visit to New York as part of the promotional tour.
"As the president of NYU Dillagi, a Bollywood dance team, I knew we had to have simpler steps that the general public would be able to do and we sent videos out to the public. I thought that the flash mob came out even better than expected since people kept joining the mob throughout the sequence and it definitely surprised those that did not know of it ahead of time," Mohit Chhatpar, coordinator of the flash mob, said.
"It was really fun to be doing a flash mob and having Imran among us was all the more fun. He was very sporting and interacted with the students.
We are excited about this movie as well and are glad he could come and be among us to talk about his movie," he added. The Dharma Productions' film, also starring Kareena Kapoor, is set to hit theatres Feb 10.

It can be said as the musical series of Aashiqui ..

(less)Neil Nitin's bad shooting experiences
Some part of the film was also shot in Murmansk, Russia, where the temperatures are often sub zero, as it would snow heavily. Shooting in this climate therefore became very difficult, but since the permissions had been taken and all other arrangements made, it was not possible to reschedule or postpone the shoots.
Like most other actors, Neil too has done his own stunts in the film. But while he did manage to do the stunts, the climate took a toll on his health and on one instance, got injured as well.
Talking about this particular scene when he got stuck in snow, Neil says. "We were shooting in extreme climatic conditions in Murmansk.
It is located in the extreme northwest part of Russia and the entire place was covered with snow. We could not cancel a single shooting day as we were on a tight schedule hence we continued shooting in spite of rough weather.
" He had initially fractured his finger earlier and this time he got stuck in snow. A source from the sets elaborates, "During an action scene, Neil got stuck in ice rather badly.

(less)George Clooney left Sameera Reddy tongue-tied
"2011 has been a fun year. For "Tezz", I'm riding a bike, pulling off stunts on the streets of London and even white water rafting.
The movie is a James Bond-esque one and the action is hi-tech. We have the stunt co-ordinator of "Bourne Ultimatum" on board," says Sameera, who plays a contrasting role in her Tamil flick.
"In "Vettai", I play the role of a gutsy lady who is always ready to pick a fight. When director N.
Linguswamy met me, he felt I was perfect for the role as he thought I look like someone who is always on the verge of losing her temper," she quips. Talking about her juggling act, she says, "It's like living in two extremes.
I'm pulling off stunts in London one moment and before I know it, I'm travelling to Karaikudi by road from Madurai after landing from London!" Sameera is also awaiting the release of "Yeh Honsla" with Nagesh Kukunoor. "Initially, I was scared of Nagesh.
I'd think a 100 times before saying anything to him. I took a while to be myself around him.
Nagesh is a meticulous director. In fact, he made me stay in Rajasthan for two months, during which I didn't visit Mumbai even once.
It actually helped me act without a break in the flow of my role ," she says. ENJOYING THE ATTENTION "I can say that Nagesh brought out the best in me.
I personally feel that it is by far one of my best performances till date. My mom who watched the film, said she couldn't see a trace of me in it.
It was heart-warming to know that," says Sameera. When she is not doing films, Sameera is busy working on her plans to start her own designer and apparel store.

Housefull 2 boasts of 22 major actors including Akshay, John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty. It was a huge challenge for Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid Khan not just at the scripting stage, but also logistically.
"It was a lot of fun working with Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. Both have managed such a huge cast very well.
Everybody had a blast during the shoot," Asin said. "It was also great sharing space with senior actors like Mithun Da, Rishiji, Randhirji, Boman Irani, Johnny Lever and the other girls (Jacqueline Fernandez and Zarine Khan).

(less)Mohanlal's 'Tezz' cameo enrages his fans
Signs of swelling dissent are already evident. The first promotional trailer of "Tezz" has Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor in spotlight, while Mohanlal is seen fleetingly.
This has evoked protest all over micro-blogging sites, creating a mild panic situation in the production team, says a source. "We never expected this kind of an uproar.
Mohanlal has a cameo in 'Tezz', and that's how he was shown in the first promo..
.in fleeting shots! But the uproar from his fans in the south on Facebook and Twitter has taken the producers by surprise.
New trailers are now being planned where Mohanlal will be as prominent as Ajay," said the source. Incidentally, this is not the first time Devgn has been compelled to share poster space with Mohanlal.
In Ram Gopal Varma's "Company", the same north-south divide had transpired. "Tezz" producer Ratan Jain admits to being taken aback by the uproar.
"Frankly we didn't expect this. We didn't mean to undermine Mohanlalji's stature at all.
He sportingly agreed to play a cameo part because of his proximity to Priyadarshan . The heroes of our film are Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor.
But if Mohanlalji's fans are upset, we've to do something about it," Jain said. "We're taking care of the situation.
The next promo will feature Mohanlalji prominently." An interesting sidelight to the Mohanlal-Devgn poster war is that "Tezz" was meant to be pitched as Devgn's next action film after "Singham".
But now with the Mohanlal fans demanding attention to him in the promotional footage, it would be difficult to hightlight the action aspect in the plot. "We're looking into it.
We need to be fair to all our actors," said Jain

..
and producers had said Bipasha is busy and can't do the film so we have to look for someone else. They tried looking at other actresses," Madhavan said.
"I was uncomfortable as I felt for a story there is one particular person who is absolutely right. And I was telling them let's wait for sometime and see what happens.
Every script has the right time. And then she chased it.
..
it was a matter of time and within one week we started shooting," he said. Bipasha said she read the script two years back.
."And I got busy and then I woke up.
. asked my manager about this script.
So we started tracing it and this is the first time I have ever chased the script." "It's a fabulous script and my character Sonali is refreshing, it is something I haven't done in ten years.
I chased it and knew Maddy was playing the role," she said. Even though their first film is yet to release but Bipasha has already expressed her desire to work again with Madhavan in near future.

(less)Bipasha Basu is back with Rana Daggubati
This friendship was followed by Bips' rumoured romance with her Singularity co-star Josh Hartnett . The Hollywood actor later made way for Shahid Kapoor.
However, after parting ways with Shahid, the actress has once again found solace in the arms of the Telugu actor, claim sources. And if rumours are to be believed, this time around, the Rana-Bips 'friendship' is surely for keeps.
Bipasha and Rana were attracted to each other during the making of Rohan Sippy's Dum Maro Dum. However, neither she nor the Telugu actor ever admitted to anything other than being 'close friends' in quintessential celeb-speak.
The close friends Rana and Bips soon drifted apart when Shahid was reportedly introduced to Bipasha by their common fitness trained Abbas. But the actress' relationship with Shahid did not last long either.
According to sources, the actors decided that they were too different to be together. After a big fight, claim sources, Bipasha left for Greece to shoot for Players.
With the shoot now wrapped up, and Bipasha back in the country, the actress seems to be back with her friend Rana. 'Bipasha is back with Rana for sure.
After she parted ways with Shahid, Bipasha was not in a happy space. Probably she was on a rebound,' said a source very close to Rana.

The industry is buzzing with the news.' Bipasha and Rana remained unavailable for comment

(less)Deepika, Priyadarshan bury the hatchet
Instead Deepika chose to make her debut with Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om . After that Priyadarshan stayed away from Deepika until 2008 when Shah Rukh Khan used his clout to persuade Deepika to perform an item song in Priyadarshan's Billu , which SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment had produced.
The thawing of the ice had begun. Now it's time for the director and actress to finally work together.
"We broke the ice during the song in Billu . Now I've a role just right for her," said Priyan.
Priyadarshan, who has directed about 83 films in his 30-year career, had no releases in 2011, but he's ready to make up for the lost year with as many as four films this year. Of these, the 'family comedy' (as he dubs it) which he will direct in July for Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Limited has him specially kicked.
Not only is he working with Abhishek Bachchan for the first time, he has also reached out to Deepika for the female lead opposite the actor. It's a double delight for Priyadarshan since he has never worked with both the actors.
"Abhishek and I have been planning projects together for the longest time. We were supposed to do a bio-pic on Chandrashekhar Azad.
But who watches historicals any more? I've finally zeroed in on the perfect project for Abhishek. We start shooting in July," said Priyadarshan.

Moreover, the director of her upcoming film Tezz , Priyadarshan, has been conferred with the fourth highest civilian award of the country, the Padma Shri. "I told Priyadarshan sir that he should receive one of those titles.
He would say, 'I feel humbled, but that's a great achievement and beyond my expectations.' Both Shabana Azmiji (who won the Padma Bhushan) and Priyadarshan sir are close to me.
So when their names were announced, I called them up. 'We are so humbled,' is what they both said to me," says Sameera.
The actor also says that she's going to be more picky about the roles she chooses. "I want to play more performance-oriented characters.
I'm done playing dumb, good-looking girl roles," she says. Ask Sameera if she is hinting at the lukewarm response to Vedi, her Tamil outing with Vishal in which she played exactly that kind of role, and she says, "I cannot pinpoint one particular film.
After Vaaranam Aayiram, I did few roles that required me to look and act in a certain way. I became synonymous with such characters.
That's why for my film with Maddy, I told director Lingusamy that I would play the role of a village girl. I want to do what Simran and Jyothika did in Kollywood.

Meanwhile Pooja, along with dad Mahesh Bhatt, is in Darjeeling to attend a film festival to decide if she can shoot her movie there. Before Sunny signs on the movie, Pooja has revealed the first look of her movie.
While the "Jism" poster with Bipasha Basu's honey-coated legs was the toast of the country some nine years ago, this new look from "Jism 2" has everyone guessing about who the girl is in the poster. Pooja, right now, is mum on who the girl is.
Ask her if the veiled woman is Sunny Leone and she just smiles. "I don't wish to reveal who the girl is till I have everything on paper.
When I shot this poster, I was sure I wanted it to be sensual. The question that most men are asking after seeing the first look was whether the girl in the poster is naked or not.
For me, that's not important because after a point, the flesh doesn't really matter. It's about the soul.
There has been too much of talk about Sunny doing my film or the one with Salman. I don't wish to say anything till I've signed my cast," she says.
Pooja takes pride in designing the poster the way she has, while keeping the intrigue factor alive. "Spielberg says the difference between erotica and porn is the lighting.
I say, it's the gaze. I think, there is an essential difference between the way a man and a woman looks at a human body.
That's the difference that one sees when one looks at two movies - "Murder" that my father made with Anurag Basu and "Jism" that my dad did with me. I am very proud of a movie like "Murder" and what it raked in at the box office.
But the way I visualized Bipasha and treated sensuality is very different from what Anurag did in this movie. Bipasha, in "Jism", was a woman who was in complete control of her body and sensuality," she explains.
Pooja has no problems with cleavage but she says, "It's a fact that "Dhoom" had more cleavage than "Jism". However, people talked about the sensuality in "Jism" and they were engaged with the heroine who said the body doesn't know love.
It only knows lust. Even now, it suits people if such women die as villains.
As my father says, in India, good people fall in love and bad people have sex. If that were true, I wouldn't know what to fathom about our population count though.
Even today, whether it's a journo from Harvard or a ganglord or an entrepreneur, men still get so tongue-tied and uncomfortable with the female form." So, what does Pooja think Sunny's impact is on men? "I met her and she intimidates people.
Yet, there is an innocence in her face. However, I didn't want to reveal a face when I designed the poster of "Jism 2".
There have been so much of speculation over who the lead actor in my film is. From Bipasha to Mallika or even the dhobi's neighbour, names were being tossed up right, left and centre.
While I wanted to whet their appetite further with this poster, I also wanted to establish a fact that eventually it's the franchise that's more important than the face. People don't sell movies any more.
It's the brand that matters. That's what had happened to "Ashique" too, where no face of the actors were shown and yet the movie got packed houses.
This poster can have anyone there and it will only enhance the brand and vice versa." So, how is "Jism 2" taking forward the film from where Bipasha had left it behind? "The movie goes beyond the body.
Even as exciting and earth-shattering Bipasha was in the film, she still became a one dimensional character. In "Jism 2", the lead actor is both a femme fatale, a mother and a sex worker and is allowed to exist in grey areas without being apologetic about it.
"Jism 2" will embrace darkness because only by doing that can one see light," Pooja adds. So, which is the most sensual movie in Pooja's eyes? "When I look back, I can't think of anything more sensual than David Lean's "Doctor Zhivago".
Kim Basinger in "Nine 1/2 Weeks" is very sensual too. In India, it had to be Zeenat Aman in "Satyam Shivam Sundaram".
Then, there was this topless picture of Simi Garewal that was my first memory of Indian erotica from "Siddhartha". However, nothing can hold a candle to "Jism".
I'd still say, India needs a new fantasy." Considering that she is in Darjeeling now, does she plan to shoot the film there? "Just as Puducherry offered the right backdrop for "Jism", I am looking for a place with a unique character for "Jism 2".
I will zero in on a place only if it suits the movie not because people are offering us infrastructural facilities. I was there in Darjeeling in 1978 when my father was shooting "Lahu Ke Do Rang" with Shabana Azmi, Vinod Khanna and Danny Denzongpa.
I had also gone to shoot "Chor Aur Chand" there with Aditya Pancholi. That's where I had met a newly-married Shah Rukh and Gauri.
He was shooting there for "Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman". Gauri still had her wedding bangles on when we met.
I will be there in Darjeeling for a couple of days. If I find the location suitable, I will definitely shoot there," she signs off
(less)Dia Mirza and Sameera Reddy off to WIFW
Shantanu confirmed, "Sameera and Dia will be among those present in the front row. They both wear our drape line often and we wanted them, as our muses, to witness the show from the front row.
This time, we want them to add the glam factor."
(less)Naseeruddin Shah and Paresh Rawal on stage
And, of course, Sil was there to catch them live on stage. The actor, who is also a producer later posted on a microblogging site: "At kalamandir, for Naseer bhai's Caine Mutiny.
Remember seeing it earlier year's ago. Expecting sm electrifying performance.
" He added' "Naseerbhai is always fascinating, always an experience. Almost 10-12 years back, he as Caine Mutiny Court Martial alongwith Akash Khurana & Raj Jutsi.
This time was proud to be his guest. We even spk abt this.
" As for Paresh's play the actor wrote: "Going in splits watching Paresh Rawal and team in Kishen vs Kanhaiya. Brilliant.

(less)Virendra Sehwag bonds with Ajay Devgn
When Sehwag, who was shooting for a commercial at a city studio, found out that the actor was shooting a promotional video for his film on a separate floor in the same building, he decided to drop in on the sets. It was apparently a mutual fan club as both men got chatting about cricket, films and everything in between.
Sehwag was eager to meet Sanjay Dutt - who co-stars in the film - but unfortunately he wasn't around that particular day. Nevertheless, he hung around for a long while and even watched Ajay shoot some comic scenes.
We hope that cheered him up
(less)Mohanlal's Tezz cameo enrages his fans
Signs of swelling dissent are already evident. The first promotional trailer of Tezz has Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor in spotlight, while Mohanlal is seen fleetingly.
Tezz producer Ratan Jain admits to being taken aback by the uproar.
"Frankly we didn't expect this. We didn't mean to undermine Mohanlalji's stature at all.
He sportingly agreed to play a cameo part because of his proximity to Priyadarshan. The heroes of our film are Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor.
But if Mohanlalji's fans are upset, we've to do something about it," Jain said. "We're taking care of the situation.
The next promo will feature Mohanlalji prominently." An interesting sidelight to the Mohanlal-Devgn poster war is that Tezz was meant to be pitched as Devgn's next action film after Singham .
But now with the Mohanlal fans demanding attention to him in the promotional footage, it would be difficult to hightlight the action aspect in the plot. "We're looking into it.
We need to be fair to all our actors," said Jain. Tweet
(less)Sanjay Dutt's teary eye
A member from the unit of the film informed Mumbai Mirror that Dutt, who plays a pivotal role in the project has been suffering from an eye infection. In fact, the shoot had to be stalled due to his teary eyes.
The unit member added, "Dutt was very uncomfortable. But, since he is a very good friend of Ajay, he decided to shoot.
He did not want to waste the schedule dates primarily because it was an outdoor shoot in Punjab. Reorganising outdoor shoots generally is troublesome.
" Devgn, however, couldn't have his friend work with teary eyes. He cancelled the shoot immediately.
"A doctor was summoned and Dutt has been resting in his hotel room ever since," revealed the unit member. When contacted, Sanjay Dutt's publicist confirmed the news and added, "Sanjay sir has been advised rest.
The shooting had to be cancelled." The film directed by Ashwini Dheer stars Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha , Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles
(less)Amy, Prateik in love?
And it is not surprising that he has found love once again. The girl who Prateik is reportedly smitten with is Amy Jackson his co-actor from Gautham Menon's Ek Deewana Tha .
The two youngsters met almost a year back at the film's audition and sparks flew. Amy is a hot super bikini model from UK who has won several swim wear pageants.
Sources from the unit say that during the shooting of the film in quaint villages and in the backwaters of Kerala, Prateik and Amy came close. Our source adds, ``Even after the film has finished shooting, Amy is very much in India because Prateik stays here

(less)Agent Vinod flouts the law
In fact, the city police have booked three crewmembers of the film co-produced by Saif's Illuminati Films and Eros International. The arrest of three crewmembers was followed by an apology from Saif, the lead actor and co-producer of the film.
"Saif Ali Khan approached me and apologised for the act of his production staff that defaced the ancient site by painting its old heritage walls and applying cow dung to make it look older still for shooting the climax of the film at Kuldhara. I had told him that the film unit will have to face the penal action and will also have to pay a fine under Rajasthan Monuments, Archaeological Sites and Antiquities Act-1961 and Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act," informed Rajasthan tourism, art, culture and archaeology minister Bina Kak.
When contacted, Saif Ali Khan said, "There has been a misunderstanding. We set up an expensive set and we thought we had all the permissions.
Our line producer said so. We aren't stupid to deliberately destroy heritage property.
" According to Kak, the production company had never obtained permission to shoot in the first place. Moreover, they defaced the ancient site and raised structures to suit their shooting requirements without a permission to do so.
Kak said that the state government would permit Saif's production house to shoot the film in any other location than Kuldhara, provided a fresh plea is made to that effect. Explaining the situation, Saif added, "The line producer told us that all that we did was allowed.
We had been creating the set for ten days and no one told us anything. It is a huge set and I wish someone had said something earlier and not come at the last minute.
In this entire bargain, we have lost a lot of money and time. The whole idea is to stay within the law and not do anything wrong.
Binaji has been of great help. She wants things to happen properly and she has helped us in getting other locations in Rajasthan.
" Saif is however, not interested in shooting at the same location any longer. "We will shoot at an alternate location.
People in the cultural ministry have been very helpful." "The permission to shoot would be granted under the prevailing rules and regulations.
The State government would depute its nodal officer to monitor the shoot so that the historic structures are not tampered with in the process," said Kak. While Saif has been assured help by Kak, should he pursue shooting in the area, crewmembers Rajnish Roy, Chandraprakash and local manager Tan Singh Bhati have been booked by the Khuri police station.
"No arrests have been made yet. We have seized the camera, lights and other power equipment of the production company.
We will release all seized material after the investigation is complete. The court has to give their permission to the police as well," said the district Collector MP Swami.
The filmmakers were preparing to shoot the climax of this Sriram Raghavan directed venture at the historic site of Kuldhara in the outskirts of Jaisalmer on Wednesday. The director wanted to present Kuldhara as a Pakistani village.
The art director, in an attempt to cover the original yellow stone of the facade, used maroon oil colour and had also filled mud between the stone layers. This not only defaced the structure but also caused permanent damage to the heritage property.
"We have the highest respect for the cultural heritage of our country and we even clean up beaches when we shoot there. Sometimes we do get blamed for what other units have done in the past and I guess that is the part and parcel of working in India.
Sometimes things go wrong but knowingly we won't damage anything," said Saif. I told Saif that the film unit will have to face penal action Bina Kak Rajasthan tourism, art, culture and archaeology minister
(less)Asin wants to act with Rajinikanth
"I wish to work with Rajini..
. If I come across a good project I will certainly act (opposite him)," she said.
The 26-year-old actress will be next seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Housefull 2 and the actress is looking forward to the release of the film, which boasts of 22 major actors working in it. "We wrapped up shooting in record time and the film is ready for an April release.
It has shaped up very well. I am looking forward to it," she told reporters at the announcement of the 57th Idea Filmfare Awards here.
With such a big cast, it was literally housefull," she added. Asin said apart from Housefull 2 , she is working in Bol BachchanM starring Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan and directed by Rohit Shetty.
"We have just wrapped up one schedule and shooting is going on," she added. When asked whether she has any plan to act in Hollywood flicks, Asin said, "I think right now I better concentrate on Indian cinema.

(less)Ajay Devgn avoids clash with Ranbir Kapoor
Sources say that he called up producer Ratan Jain and asked him to shift the release date of Tezz. "Imtiaz Ali's film had booked the date before Tezz, so Ajay thought it was prudent to move Tezz rather than ask the other film to move.
Ajay shares a good rapport with Ranbir since Raajneeti and did not want a clash with him," says the source. "Also, Ajay is close to Ashtavinayak, who are has produced Rockstar.
The Golmaal series, which has added to Ajay's stardom, has been produced by Ashtavinayak," adds the source. Ratan Jain remained unavailable for comment
(less)Jannat 2 in Delhi
According to sources, the team landed in Delhi on October 8 and will shoot in the city for a month. We caught the team shooting a chase sequence in the narrow lanes of Paharganj, with actors Emraan Hashmi , Randeep Hooda and Imran Zahid.
Kunal Deshmukh donned the director's cap (literally too, to save himself from Delhi's scorching heat) and was seen canning the shot, while managing the crowd too. In the movie, Emraan will be seen playing the role of an informer, while Randeep and Zahid will be seen as crime branch cops
(less)No embarrassment in kissing, says Bipasha
"For me, love making is no big deal, it is like any other thing. But when it comes to kissing, I have not overcome it.
It is tough. I feel it is too private a moment and also the way we are we brought up, the kind of cinema we are exposed to when I started acting, kissing was not a regular thing.
But now, in every film, kissing is regular," Bipasha told PTI. "When I see an English film, I feel it is no big deal, but when I have to do it, it's a very big deal.
I have still not overcome it, it is bit of a block that I have," she said. In her 11 years of acting career, Bipasha has done two kissing scenes-- one with John in Jism and Ranbir Kapoor in Bachna Ae Haseeno .
"When I had to do it (a kissing scene) I was paranoid. Every day I used to go to Adi and Siddharth saying 'please cancel this, please get it out', and they use to laugh at it saying it is small thing.
But I was petrified. I have not done many kissing scenes, except two," she said.
Despite kissing being a regular feature on celluloid, filmmakers struggle to capture the perfect moment on screen, and the Bengali bombshell feels it is due to the inhibitions that the actors have. "It is because of the inhibitions that we actors have.
The moment you see actors are not inhibited, it looks right. I have some inhibitions, so it is very tough for me.
It takes a lot of thinking and struggle. I feel like some bomb is going to explode on my head," the 32-year-old actress said.
Ask her if filmmakers continue to explore her 'sexy' image and the actress says there is nothing wrong in that. "I think they feel I look fitter and look good and can carry off a bikini.
If somebody looks good they will tell you to wear it (bikini). But there have been times when I have said no a lot.
I can do an Akrosh or Lamha as convincingly as I did Players in bikini. Films like Players can carry a bikini.
As it is on the lines of Fast and Furious , it does not look out of place," Bipasha said. "In Dum Maro Dum , Rohan (Sippy) had asked me to wear a bikini, I said 'No', as it does not make any sense.
Why to wear a bikini..
.it was not going in sink.
So in this film ( Players , I saw the sense of it and that's why I wore it," she said. In Abbas-Mustan's forthcoming film Players , the actress will be seen in a red hot bikini.
"They are kind of directors, who are really bold and they have lot of sense of fashion and style and they will never make it look vulgar. There is a fine line between looking vulgar, sexy and stylish," Bipasha said.
Ask her how she got into this beach-body, Bipasha says, "When you are wearing a bikini, it is going to be there on the celluloid and you don't want to embarrass yourself. I am totally into fitness.
We did training for about six weeks. I don't do dieting, I hate dieting.
I can beat the gym, I don't get tired by it. But when it comes to dieting, I get really angry.
" "For six weeks there were no sweets and I was so angry all the time. I could only see laddu, gulab jamun and all the sweets flying by.
When I finished the sequence, it was icy cold and everyone was in winter wear and I was in bikini, I was like I will die today," she said. Tweet

A friend of the actress, explains, "It's not true. A protest rally was held in Mumbai last Saturday and so, getting certain permissions were an issue.
Besides, Sam hadn't been paid for the event. Also because of lack of permissions, the event was cancelled.
" Sameera adds, "I had offers to perform in Dubai , Delhi and Chandigarh but chose Mumbai to be close to my family. It's sad that the organisers weren't given the required permissions.

(less)'Desi Boyz' go from chic to distressed look
Hence it was a task for the designers to make sure they style two different looks of the lead actors. Arora has styled John, who plays a banker in the film, and admits his look has been inspired by Shia LaBeouf's "Wall Street" look.
"John plays a confident banker in the film who is a perfect guy and is about to get married. So it was necessary to dress him up in a way that he is comfortable in and that goes well with his character as well," Arora told IANS.
"As the film is based in London we did a lot of shopping from designer stores. In fact, John's look is inspired by Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf's look in 'Wall Street'," she said.
Arora has also designed for John in "Force" and so for the corporate look, she has given him chic, stylish clothing. "I have given him suits with banker shirts.
Banker shirts are the ones with white collar and white cuffs, which is accompanied by Oxford ties and pocket handkerchief that completes the corporate look," she said. And as John loses job in the film, the designer has given him a distressed look.
"For the distressed look, he will be seen wearing fun t-shirts, torn, distressed jeans and leather jackets along with worn out boots," said Shymali, adding she has used charcoal grey, blue and black colours for the actor. Similarly, designer Kunal Rawal, who has designed for Akshay in the film, has given two different looks to the 44-year-old actor.
"As Akshay is playing the role of a young London guy. It was important for me to bring those elements, but since I have been in London before, I didn't face much difficulty in understanding the style of the people here," said Rawal.
"Akshay's character in the film goes through an interesting emotional graph so I have used different looks in the film. From glossy look, his outfits shift to peppier ones," he added.
"In the first half of the film, Askhay will be seen in a lot of graphic t-shirts, t-shirts with slogans, winter jackets, denims in lighter tones and fire-fighter pants," Rawal said, adding he has also created a jacket with a sequined tiger at the back for him. And when Akshay's character goes through the lean phase of recession, the actor will be seen sporting love t-shirts, over shirts, blazers and jackets.
"For the colour palette, I have used steel grey, beach blue, purple, black and reds. I haven't given him belts, his outfits have suspenders attached to them," he said.
Rawal also admits that he did visit various designer stores to research, but ended up creating fresh outfits for the actor. "I like to create my own outfits.
For Akshay I have tried to make clothes that are fresh and classy. Designing for Bollywood is different as you are catering to a large number of people.
So it is important that the looks that you design are fresh and exclusive," he said. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, "Desi Boyz" also features Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh and releases Nov 25
(less)Ajay Devgn challenges Aamir Khan
. Actor Ajay Devgn who is experiencing a career high with the success of Singham has proved that he has has a marketing mind, too.
The actor's film 'Tezz' directed by Priyadarshan was all set to release in November this year. However, a possible clash with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Rockstar' didn't seem to be a good idea.
Sources inform us that the Ajay-starrer will now release on January 26, 2012. The movie's release date will clash with Aamir Khan's film being directed by Reema Kagti , but the cast and crew of Tezz is all set to take up this challenge.
A source informs us, "The producers have obviously weighed the pros and cons, and taken the decision." With Ajay Devgn proving to have the Midas touch, and with Aamir Khan knowing the tricks of the trade by the back of his hand, this will be one takkar that's going to be good to watch!
(less)Sanjay Dutt to play a mad scientist role
The film's producer Avik Bagchi reveals the actors are expected to shoot at a film city in the Maoist-infested Jungel mahal area of West Midnapore district, where a giant 100 foot long crocodile has been created using pyrotechnics and CGI. Buzz is the film will have lots of action and stunts most of which will be performed by Dutt and Basu
(less)Katrina Kaif's bloody item song
And after a sizzling Sheila, bindass Bodyguard and Chikni Chameli , she's only gotten better at it. But fame, as always, comes at a price.
zoOm's sources recently revealed that the shooting schedule for her item song for Agneepath was rather demanding and stretched over long hours. So much so, that while shooting for the song, Kat got blisters and her feet started bleeding.
Worried about her condition, her staff asked the choreographer to stop the shoot. Packing up for the day would have meant sending Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt home, too.
But Katrina proved to be a thorough professional and insisted that the actors needn't worry about her. She resumed her dance in no time, and completed the shoot as planned.
Looks like this Chameli gave it her 100 per cent, no aadha, pahua here!
(less)Mammootty, Mohanlal to settle IT dues
They have also added that they will carry out their audits properly in the future and keep a close eye on monitoring their revenues. Earlier, some reports said the IT department had acted on a confidential tip from certain agencies on the business modules worked out by the superstars in the Middle East for satellite rights.
However, the authorities did not have enough evidence to substantiate that claim at the time. While actor Mohanlal's residence in Mudavanmugal, Thiruvananthapuram and in Thevara, Kochi, was raided, Mammootty's house in Panampally Nagar, Kochi, was raided by the IT department.
Mammootty's production company Play House and Mohanlal's Studio Max Labs too, were raided alongwith the homes of their close aides. The actors had been boasting of properties in and out the country, and this was also a factor that prompted the authorities to look into their monetary affairs closely.
Actor Mohanlal has been claiming to have flats in the Burj Khaleefa, Dubai, while Mammootty is said to have announced his multiple investments in various properties including a hospital in Bangaluru besides real estate investments inside and outside Kerala. Earlier, Income Tax officials had questioned Mammootty in Kochi for nearly seven hours on July 22nd.
The officials had also recorded Mohanlal's statement in Rameshwaram, where he was shooting for a film at the time. The I-T Department had said then that the actors may be summoned for further questioning ahead.
The two superstars, who have dominated the Malayalam film industry for over three decades, have several business interests. In a career spanning more than three decades, Mammootty has won the National Award thrice, for Dr.
Ambedkar (1988), Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha , Mathilukal (1989) and Vidheyan , Ponthan Mada (1993). He has acted in more than 360 films, including a few Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films.
While Mohanlal was reportedly planning to bid for an IPL team with director Priyadarshan and owns some hotels in Bangaluru, he had recently reportedly purchased a plush house in the world's tallest tower, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai. He was awarded the Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema in 2001.
He has won four National Film Awards and his notable roles include those in Vaanaprastham and Bharatham . Tweet

(less)Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn ban Kangna Ranaut
Explaining why Sanjay and Ajay decided to shut the door on Kangna permanently, a source said, "Sanjay and Ajay have been hearing many stories of Kangna's uncharitable remarks, things that she has been telling people in the industry. How long could they tolerate it?" The lady known for her extreme remarks undid the Sanjay-Kangna-Ajay collaboration when in a recent interview, replying to an accusation that she had been seeking attention said, 'Honestly why do I need to take anyone's name to further my career? I'm in a very good place.
I can truly understand if I were to drop Tom Cruise's name to make an impact. Why would I need to take any other names?' Unrepentant, the actress continued with such shocking remarks, though not to the media.
The next thing Kangna knew, she was left out from the guestlist at the launch of the Rascals first look. The event organised on August 11 did not have the leading lady Kangna attending it.
Reportedly, Sanjay and Ajay had decided to strike off her name from the list. While a shocked Kangna called David Dhawan , the director of the film to understand why she has been left out from the publicity campaign, the actress failed to receive a convincing reply.
A source close to the film, has now revealed that the actress will not be invited for the forthcoming music launch or the interviews scheduled for the promotion of Rascals. "She is completely out from the promotion of Rascals.
She will not be taken on the publicity drive to outstations either," added the source. A source close to Kangna defended the actress and said, "Kangna has no idea why such stories are surfacing about her.
Sanju and Ajay are extremely warm to her. And she is always happy to work with people who want to work with her.
However, she feels it's fine for people to have personal preferences otherwise." Not too long ago, Kangna was an integral part of the Sanjay Dutt clan.
She was seen at every party thrown by the actor. She was even believed to be a close friend to Ajay Devgn.
However, all that seems to be a thing of the past now. Her equation with Sanjay's wife Maanyata too went downhill.
In fact, Ajay hardly spoke to her when she shot for the final schedule of Rascals (Mumbai Mirror, January 14). This also explains Kangna's absence at the recent parties hosted by Dutt.
Interestingly, Dutt loyalist Dharam Oberoi (CEO, SAnjay Dutt Productions) who used to handle Kangna's work has also cut off all professional ties with her, claimed sources. Kangna, Sanjay and Ajay remained unavailable for comment
