Her wedding will be all over the media and will be a great showcase for her music. She's determined to get the track to No 1," said a close friend of the model.

Azim looks up to Salman, SRK and Aamir Khan
To make his character in "Qasam Se Qasam Se" appear realistic, Azim frequented call centre offices to absorb the finer nuances of the people working there. "It was quite a relevation for me as an actor.
I witnessed not only people's mannerisms but also the activities they indulge in during the break hour. Looking into the mirror, some guys would be busy ruffling their hair and taking care of their looks, while some would busy binging.
And there would others catching up with family and friends over their cell phones. This has helped shaped my character in the film.
" Azim feels that all our veteran actors were keen observers and would translate that on screen. "Whether it were the legendary actors like Dilip Kumar or the late Raj Kapoor or Dev Anand , they were schools in themselves.
I am a great fan of Salman Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan and look at them as a student who looks upon his guru. I am mastering the art of acting watching their films," he smiles

(less)I never thought I'd be a desirable woman: Sameera Reddy
"My name in the list means a lot to me. As as a young girl, I never thought even in my wildest dreams that I would become a desirable woman.
I yearned for a perfect body as I was ugly duckling in school. But now that I have entered films, I believe that beauty is hidden in the imperfections of people and it all depends on how you use them.
That's my definition of desirable and I am glad to have made it to the list," says Sameera. The actor is basking in the success of her last Tamil release opposite Madhavan and has Padma Shri Priyadarshan's Tezz to look forward to.

Says she, "The rapid metamorphosis in my case would not have been possible had the mindsets of the majority of the people in the Hindi film industry continued to be goverened by prejudices. I look upto entrepreneurs who command respect and attention for daring to think out of the box and act accordingly.
They do not have a herd mentality. What they have is unadulterated creativity which is set on fire by courage.
" Naming films like " The Dirty Picture ", " Erin Brokovich ", " No One Killed Jessica "," The Black Swan " as cinema that has changed the way we think, Sherlyn says, "Unconventionality is no longer a taboo. It is being applauded and celebrated by both the classes and the masses.
The pulse of the youth is racing towards liberalisation. And I'm truly loving it.
" Asked why she decided to give us photographs that resembled those of the " Jism 2 " campaign, the actor quips, "I have pushed the envelope by choosing to cover my nakedness with nothing but pure consciousness."

"I had a blast at NYU. Everyone was so enthusiastic, they put on a very polished, confident show, and the surprise flash mob at the end was perfectly executed.
My best wishes to all the students involved," Imran said in a statement. The students had been practising for the performance for over two weeks, ahead of Imran's visit to New York as part of the promotional tour.
"As the president of NYU Dillagi, a Bollywood dance team, I knew we had to have simpler steps that the general public would be able to do and we sent videos out to the public. I thought that the flash mob came out even better than expected since people kept joining the mob throughout the sequence and it definitely surprised those that did not know of it ahead of time," Mohit Chhatpar, coordinator of the flash mob, said.
"It was really fun to be doing a flash mob and having Imran among us was all the more fun. He was very sporting and interacted with the students.

(less)Golden Globes get ball rolling toward Oscar night
Though still playing in narrow release, the film has found enthusiastic audiences and has been a critical darling since premiering at last May's Cannes Film Festival, positioning it as the first silent movie with serious awards prospects since the first years of the Oscars in the late 1920s. In an age of elaborate computer effects and digital 3-D projection, The Artist is such a throwback to early cinema that it comes off as something entirely fresh.
"It's very relaxing for people to actually go to this movie," said Dujardin, nominated for best actor in a musical or comedy for his role as a silent-era star whose career implodes when talkies take over. "It's a new visual and emotional experience for people.

. It's really strange and rare to not hear anything in the theater.
" Tied for second-place at the Globes with five nominations each are George Clooney's family tale The Descendants and the literary adaptation The Help, both competing for best drama. Also in the running for best drama: Martin Scorsese's family adventure Hugo ; Clooney's political thriller The Ides of March ; Brad Pitt's sports tale Moneyball ; and Steven Spielberg's World War I epic War Horse.
For best musical or comedy, The Artist is up against: Joseph Gordon-Levitt's cancer story 50/50 ; Kristen Wiig's wedding romp Bridesmaids ; Woody Allen's romantic fantasy Midnight in Paris ; and Michelle Williams' Marilyn Monroe tale My Week with Marilyn. Along with honors from trade groups such as the directors, actors and writers guilds, the Globes help sort out key contenders for the Oscars, whose nominations balloting closes Friday, with nominees announced Jan.
24. British comedian Ricky Gervais returns as host for the third-straight year, despite uneasy moments a year ago when he took sharp swipes at celebrities and Golden Globe organizers themselves.
It paid off with a boost in TV ratings for the show, though, so the Globes invited Gervais back. A win Sunday can firm up a film's prospects to triumph at the Oscars, though the Globes have had a bad track record predicting eventual best-picture winners in recent years.
Over the last seven years, only one Globe best-picture winner -- 2008's Slumdog Millionaire -- has gone on to claim the top honor at the Oscars. Before that stretch, the Globes had been on an eight-year streak in which only one of its two best-picture recipients went on to become the Oscar champ.
Last year, The Social Network won best-drama at the Globes and looked like the early Oscar favorite. But momentum later swung to eventual Oscar best-picture winner The King's Speech.
The Globes generally do a better job predicting who might take home the acting Oscars. A year ago, all four actors who won Oscars earned Globes first -- lead players Colin Firth for The King's Speech and Natalie Portman for Black Swan and The Fighter supporting stars Christian Bale and Melissa Leo.
Along with Clooney, Pitt and Williams, other established stars nominated for Globes include Meryl Streep in the Margaret Thatcher tale The Iron Lady, Leonardo DiCaprio in the J. Edgar Hoover saga J.
Edgar, Glenn Close in the Irish drama Albert Nobbs and Kate Winslet in the stage adaptation Carnage. The lineup also features many newcomers to the awards scene, among them Wiig for Bridesmaids, Gordon-Levitt for 50/50, Michael Fassbender for the sex-addict drama Shame, Rooney Mara for the thriller The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Brendan Gleeson for the Irish crime tale The Guard.
The Help picked up three acting nominations: Viola Davis for dramatic actress and Octavia Spencer and Jessica Chastain for supporting actress. Adapted from Kathryn Stockett's best-seller about black maids speaking out about their white employers during the civil rights movement, the hit drama has been a career-maker for many of its collaborators, including first-time director Tate Taylor, a childhood friend of Stockett, and producer Brunson Green.
"It's a testament to pulling yourself up by your bootstraps and not taking no for an answer," said Spencer, a longtime friend of Tate who had been toiling in small parts before The Help. ''Kathryn was an underdog, and Tate and I and Brunson.

" The Globes are presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a group of about 85 entertainment reporters for overseas outlets. The ceremony, carried live on NBC, is a more laid-back affair than the Oscars, with Globe guests sharing dinner and drinks that can loosen up stars' tongues when it comes to presenting or accepting awards.
Behind the scenes, the HFPA and the Globes' longtime producers, dick clark productions, continue to fight in federal court over which entity has the authority to negotiate multi-million dollar broadcast rights to future shows. Although this year's telecast was never in serious jeopardy, the HFPA is anxious to try to negotiate a better deal with other networks.
While Hollywood will be in party mode right through the Feb. 26 Oscars, not every nominee will join the fun.
Midnight in Paris director Allen, a notorious no-show at awards ceremonies, said he does not believe in competition among films. "Who's to say Steven Spielberg's film is better than Martin Scorsese's or better than Francis Coppola's? These guys are all wonderful filmmakers, and everybody does his best," Allen said.
"Who's to say what's best? You can say that's your favorite, and that's fine. .
..
But to say it's better than another film, it's a very subjective judgment. Someone else may feel, 'No, I think this is the better film.

(less)Kardashians to launch magazine

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "This is a Kardashian idea.
They have been reaching out to several media outlets." The plan has come in for some criticism, with rival publishers arguing it can give the family further control over their media coverage.
One unnamed competitor said: "Now the Kardashians can spin their own stories in print." It is believed the magazine could launch this spring.
The Kardashian family are not the first reality TV stars to plan their own magazine. Last September, British former glamour model Katie Price launched a self-penned one-off publication called Katie, Announcing the venture, she said: "Everyone has an opinion of me whether good or bad.

Her final rites were performed at the Vaikunth crematorium amidst family and close friends. Harish said that the family had kept Kalpana's death under wraps.
"We didn't want to talk about her death as we knew that many people had their eye on her property," Harish said. (less)Did Michael Jackson swallow Propofol himself?
Murray, 58, is facing manslaughter charges in the singer's sudden death. Prosecutors claim that Murray, who has pleaded not guilty, gave Jackson a lethal dose.
The televised trial is due in Los Angeles next week. "Conrad Murray's team can't understand how Propofol got into the stomach.
It does not make sense unless Michael drank it. To them that will show the world how much of an addict he was.
Michael was acting crazy in his last few hours, demanding drugs to help him sleep. He was always playing with the bottles, who knows what he did," the source claimed.
Murray will claim that Jackson knew how to inject himself and had detailed knowledge of IV drips and painkilling jabs thanks to over two decades of abuse. "Dr Murray is confident he can convince a jury Michael could have self-administered his drugs.
It paints a bad picture of him as his doctor for feeding his addiction but Dr Murray still insists he didn't dish out enough to kill him." But Murray's team feel they can convince a jury to have a reasonable doubt.
If convicted, Murray faces up to four years in jail. Jackson's family is reportedly outraged over the claims.

(less)Michael Jackson's manslaughter case just got murkier
After showering and getting into bed, he called for his "milk," a powerful drug he had been using to escape into unconsciousness. Jackson saw the anesthetic known as propofol as his salvation.
On June 25, 2009, it became the King of Pop's death potion. How he overdosed in his mansion on a drug intended for hospital use is at the center of the manslaughter trial this week of the doctor he hired to be his highly paid personal physician for the This is It tour.
Testimony about the drug is expected to dominate the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, a Houston cardiologist who has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The prosecution claims Murray was grossly negligent in giving Jackson propofol at home without proper lifesaving equipment available and then left the room long enough to find his patient not breathing when he returned. His defense team claims the singer, desperate for sleep, swallowed an additional dose of the drug when his doctor was out of the room.
Getting to the truth of it will come down to sometimes technical testimony from an array of medical experts, pathologists and even the police officers and paramedics who inspected Murray's equipment in the bedroom where Jackson went into cardiac arrest. The defense theory, based on evidence that a trace amount of propofol--.
13 milligrams--was found in Jackson's stomach, may be a hard sell. The drug is administered intravenously, usually during surgery.
Scientific witnesses may be asked to explain how it could have gotten into his stomach. Some doctors say ingesting it orally is almost unheard of.
"It's an odd, on-the-edge defense theory," said Dr. Gil Tepper, chief of staff at Miracle Mile Medical Center in Los Angeles.
"It would not put you to sleep and it would move through the system very rapidly, causing awful diarrhea." There are few authoritative studies and few statistics on deaths caused by the drug.
It remains uncertain if the judge will allow a Chilean doctor's study of students who voluntarily drank the drug or a study of pigs who received it rectally. The prosecution has a key expert witness, as well as forensic experts from the Los Angeles County coroner's office who are considered at the top of the field.
The defense boasts an advantage in one of its lawyers, J. Michael Flanagan, who says he is the only California attorney ever to try a propofol death case.
Flanagan represented one of a pair of nurses charged with killing a cancer patient who died after propofol was allegedly given without proper authorization by an anesthesiologist. Flanagan's client was acquitted and the other nurse pleaded no contest to a lesser charge.
Abuse of the drug is said to occur among medical professionals but rarely among patients. In anesthesia, propofol is known as something of a wonder drug.
Tepper said it's ideal for short term procedures such as colonoscopies or cataract surgery. Patients report feeling energized when they come out of it and there is no grogginess.
"But it's absolutely not recommended as a sleep aid," said Tepper. "You would never reach restful sleep and you would have to have constant monitoring.
" In a hospital setting, Tepper said the doctor would have heart and blood oxygenation monitors as well as surgical equipment to do intubation if the patient stops breathing. Witnesses have said no such equipment was in Jackson's bedroom.
"It's a very dangerous drug," said Dr. Mark Schlesinger, head of anesthesiology at Hackensack University Medical Hospital in New Jersey, who said he has administered it thousands of times in his 25-year career.
"The difference between unconsciousness and no longer breathing is a very slim margin of safety." In the hands of a trained anesthesiologist, he added: "It's a wonderful drug and a very safe drug.
It's not the drug that kills somebody. It's the way it is used.
" Murray was not the first doctor to give Jackson the drug as a sleep aid, although others have not been publicly named. Jackson's reliance on propofol was first disclosed to The Associated Press mere days after his death.
Cherilyn Lee, a nurse nutritionist who treated Jackson with vitamins, said he pleaded unsuccessfully with her to get the drug he knew as Diprivan. He said his doctor told him it was safe and he described falling asleep as soon as the drug dripped from an IV into his vein.
"I said, `Michael, the only problem with you taking this medication,' and I had a chill in my body and tears in my eyes ..
. , "`You're going to take it and you're not going to wake up.
'" Lee, who said she treated him from January to April 2009, is on the trial witness list. She said she never saw Jackson use other drugs.
"He wasn't looking to get high or feel good and sedated from drugs," she said. "This was a person who was not on drugs.
This was a person who was seeking help, desperately, to get some sleep, to get some rest." Murray, who had been consulted by Jackson in his Las Vegas office, was promised $150,000 a month when he signed on as Jackson's personal physician six weeks before he died.
He closed the doors of his offices there and in Houston to devote himself to the singer. An autopsy report showed that Jackson was generally healthy, indicating his key problem was insomnia.
Murray has told police he administered other drugs known as benzodiazepines, which are also used as sleep aids. But when they did not work, Jackson demanded propofol.
Murray told police he was trying to wean him from the drug and gave him a minimal dosage, then left the room for five minutes to use the bathroom. However, cell phone records suggest he was making phone calls for a longer time.
His actions after he found Jackson not breathing are also central to the case. In the two years since Jackson died, doctors have been known to refer to propofol as "The Michael Jackson drug.
" Some fear a backlash for its use. Dr.
Lawrence Koblinksy, head of forensic science at John Jay College in New York, said the situation of a famous man demanding propofol is an anomaly and should not cast doubt on its effectiveness in hospitals. "If you have a drug that is wonderful, just because a celebrity dies doesn't mean you take it off the market," he said.

But the supposed 'victim', who filed the complaint (Sayali) has no information about any of the mails or the incidents stated in them, and says it is all false. His trial starts tomorrow.
If the case against him is proven, he can be sent to jail for up to three years." But wasn't he her publicist? "This guy apparently went to her house and showed her various management contracts he had bagged with other big names in the industry, and convinced her to appoint him as her publicist," said More.
"And when she realized what was happening, she filed a police complaint on October 26, and we began our investigations," he added. Sayali has been advised by her lawyers not to talk to the media, and therefore, wished not to be quoted.
Her laywer, Varsha Palav, partner of the law firm The Laureate, that's representing Sayali, told us, "It was based on Sayali's complaint that the police began their investigations, and they have now arrested and produced the accused in the court. He has been remanded to custody, his bail plea having been rejected.
We are pressing charges against him under Sections 66 A (punishment for sending offensive messages through communication), 67 (punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form) and 67A for what the accused has written about my client and Sajid Khan and Arya Babbar. The first two sections carry three years of imprisonment and fine, and section 67A is punishable with five years and a fine which may extend to `10 lakh.
" Shiney's publicist, Dale, told us that Shiney, who has been the subject of much slander on Anant's part, will not take legal action, and that 'it's Sayali's case'. This is not the first time an actress has denied statements from Anant's side.
Earlier, Minissha Lamba too had said she was surprised with rumors suggesting she was dating the 'Prince of Bhareh' and that she was doing a film with him. Earlier investigation by us had indicated that the actual royal family of Bhareh, which is located near Etawah in UP, had asserted that there is no 'Yuvraj Anant' in their family; the Bhareh family uses the surname Sengar, not Anant or Narayan.
A member of the Bhareh family, however, said he was aware of Anant and his fraudulent claims for some time now. Anant's publicity machinery has often used the created news model to stay in the news; on earlier occasions, he's sent out info - and then formally contradicted the 'rumors' - of him starring in "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi", of shooting for "Chandni Chowk To China", of being mobbed after being mistaken for Ranbir Kapoor.
A press note sent out by his team after the supposed 'mobbing' last year explained that the crowd left Anant "completely bemused and stunned at the rather bizarre turn of events". This time, that rings true, and it's not a press release.

(less)Jackson doctor's defense challenges key expert
Steven Shafer, who previously testified that the only plausible explanation for the death was that Jackson had been hooked up to an IV drip of the anesthetic propofol then left alone by Dr. Conrad Murray.
"That's a bold claim, isn't it," Chernoff asked. "It's an honest statement," Shafer replied.
Chernoff also questioned the Columbia University researcher and professor about his IV demonstration for jurors on Thursday. The defense attorney suggested Shafer had drawn conclusions that weren't necessarily supported by the evidence.
Chernoff said the type of IV line that Shafer used in the demonstration was never found at Jackson's house. Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
He could face up to four years behind bars and the loss of his medical license if convicted. Shafer was expected to be the last witness called by the prosecution.
After Shafer's testimony ends, defense attorneys will begin presenting their case. In a development outside the presence of jurors, Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor set a Nov.
16 hearing to determine whether he should find defense expert Dr. Paul White in contempt for talking to a reporter on Thursday in violation of a gag order.
E! Entertainment reported Thursday on its website that White called either Shafer or Deputy District Attorney David Walgren a "scumbag." White said in court that he didn't recall making the statement.
He told Pastor that he had talked to Walgren after the prosecutor pulled a tab from the side of a bottle of propofol that was recovered at Jackson's mansion. He said he told Walgren it was "inappropriate to tamper with evidence found at the scene.
" White and Shafer have known each other for nearly 30 years. In a closed chambers meeting before court started on Friday, Walgren asked that White be expelled from the courtroom for the remainder of Shafer's testimony.
The judge declined, and Chernoff said he was embarrassed by the incident and he would ensure it didn't happen again. He said White had been hurt by Shafer's criticism of him during testimony.
Pastor previously ordered Chernoff's partner, Matt Alford, to appear at a contempt hearing over comments made during a network TV interview. Tweet
