Kareena Kapoor spooked by tales of a ghost in the hotel
After the male cast of All The Best played a 'ghostly' prank on Bipasha Basu during the film's shoot, the cast of Golmaal 3 decided to repeat the same scare on Kareena Kapoor while shooting at a hotel." Koi hai.
..
They planned the whole prank in advance. When Bebo was on the set one day, Ajay and Rohit casually began discussing how a woman was killed in the hotel.
They said how they'd read all about it on the net. They even told her that the lady's spirit roams around in a white saree late night and visits all the villas, suites and rooms at the hotel.
" To spook her further, they added that it is a very angry spirit that roamed the hotel and it even killed a guest staying at the hotel. The actress who is staying in a suite was naturally scared and kept shouting at them to stop discussing this ghastly details, but they mercilessly continued.
" As Kareena is the only girl on the set, she is often the target for such pranks. Won't cower Bebo laughs, "Ajay keeps trying to scare me with stories of a ghost in our hotel.
Of course I get scared with such horror stories and keep yelling at them to stop but they don't! This hotel is like a khandar with no other habitation outside it and hardly any guests and it gets a bit scary at times. But I refuse to cower in fright and give them the pleasure of pulling off their pranks!" My prank league Kareena has brought her "IPL team" (as she calls them) with her to Goa.
They include director Lovely Singh, her yoga trainer, stylist Radhika and her hair and make-up lady as well as her spot boy

Azim looks up to Salman, SRK and Aamir Khan
To make his character in "Qasam Se Qasam Se" appear realistic, Azim frequented call centre offices to absorb the finer nuances of the people working there. "It was quite a relevation for me as an actor.
I witnessed not only people's mannerisms but also the activities they indulge in during the break hour. Looking into the mirror, some guys would be busy ruffling their hair and taking care of their looks, while some would busy binging.
And there would others catching up with family and friends over their cell phones. This has helped shaped my character in the film.
" Azim feels that all our veteran actors were keen observers and would translate that on screen. "Whether it were the legendary actors like Dilip Kumar or the late Raj Kapoor or Dev Anand , they were schools in themselves.
I am a great fan of Salman Khan , Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan and look at them as a student who looks upon his guru. I am mastering the art of acting watching their films," he smiles

(less)I never thought I'd be a desirable woman: Sameera Reddy
"My name in the list means a lot to me. As as a young girl, I never thought even in my wildest dreams that I would become a desirable woman.
I yearned for a perfect body as I was ugly duckling in school. But now that I have entered films, I believe that beauty is hidden in the imperfections of people and it all depends on how you use them.
That's my definition of desirable and I am glad to have made it to the list," says Sameera. The actor is basking in the success of her last Tamil release opposite Madhavan and has Padma Shri Priyadarshan's Tezz to look forward to.

(less)Sherlyn Chopra likes being unconventional
Be it politics, cinema, sports, business or any other arena, women across the globe including India are in great form mentally, physically and consciously to undertake greater responsibilities and tougher challenges that are often encountered on paths less travelled." Sherlyn is also happy that she has gone from being just a pin-up girl to an entrepreneur.
Says she, "The rapid metamorphosis in my case would not have been possible had the mindsets of the majority of the people in the Hindi film industry continued to be goverened by prejudices. I look upto entrepreneurs who command respect and attention for daring to think out of the box and act accordingly.
They do not have a herd mentality. What they have is unadulterated creativity which is set on fire by courage.
" Naming films like " The Dirty Picture ", " Erin Brokovich ", " No One Killed Jessica "," The Black Swan " as cinema that has changed the way we think, Sherlyn says, "Unconventionality is no longer a taboo. It is being applauded and celebrated by both the classes and the masses.
The pulse of the youth is racing towards liberalisation. And I'm truly loving it.
" Asked why she decided to give us photographs that resembled those of the " Jism 2 " campaign, the actor quips, "I have pushed the envelope by choosing to cover my nakedness with nothing but pure consciousness."

"I had a blast at NYU. Everyone was so enthusiastic, they put on a very polished, confident show, and the surprise flash mob at the end was perfectly executed.
My best wishes to all the students involved," Imran said in a statement. The students had been practising for the performance for over two weeks, ahead of Imran's visit to New York as part of the promotional tour.
"As the president of NYU Dillagi, a Bollywood dance team, I knew we had to have simpler steps that the general public would be able to do and we sent videos out to the public. I thought that the flash mob came out even better than expected since people kept joining the mob throughout the sequence and it definitely surprised those that did not know of it ahead of time," Mohit Chhatpar, coordinator of the flash mob, said.
"It was really fun to be doing a flash mob and having Imran among us was all the more fun. He was very sporting and interacted with the students.

Will Katrina or Kareena win the Khan race?
According to sources, Rohit Shetty has approached Salman Khan's ex-girl for his next action film starring SRK. Katrina will however have to fight it out with Kareena Kapoor , a Rohit Shetty favourite, before she bags the coveted project.
A source close to Rohit revealed to Mumbai Mirror, "Katrina Kaif is at an all time career high. Currently, she is working with the three biggest Khans - Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir.
Rohit Shetty's action film that goes on floors in May next year will be her fourth consecutive film with a Khan." Though, Katrina would surely set a record if she bags the role in question, it wouldn't come easy.
According to another source, Kareena Kapoor, too is in the running to be cast opposite her G.One.
"Kareena has worked with SRK in Asoka and RA.One.
She shares a good on-screen chemistry with him. Also, director Rohit Shetty is very fond of her.
She has been his chosen one for the successful Golmaal franchise. She is the obvious choice for the project," said the source.
Despite Kareena being a strong contender for the role, a section of the industry believes that Katrina's friendship with Rohit Shetty might just pay off. "Katrina is working with SRK in Yash Chopra's film.
She has become good friends with the actor as well. She might have been recommended by him as well," added the source.
Rohit Shetty, on the other hand who was earlier planning to remake the 1982 comedy with SRK, had decided to cast Kareena in the same. After RA.
One, when SRK decided to continue with the action genre, Shetty dropped his plans to remake Angoor. "When Rohit decided to make an action film with Shah Rukh, he decided to change his heroine as well.
Earlier he wanted Kareena to portray the role played by Moushumi Chatterjee in the original Angoor. But with the change in the script, he decided upon Katrina Kaif ," revealed Rohit's friend.
The source close to Kareena, however maintained, "Kareena is very keen to work with Rohit again. And Rohit too will want his successful heroine back.

It is on hold as of now. I'm doing something else with Shah Rukh.
It's somethng completely different and not a typical mushy love story at all. It's an entertaining love story - Rohit Shetty style! When I narrated the script to Shah Rukh and his team they were very excited about it.

(less)I want to be around for 50 years: Anil Kapoor
"No one has the kind of success that I do," says Mr India, who thinks that having a lot of films in your kitty and accumulating wealth shouldn't be the sole measure for 'success'. THE GAME PLAN - LONGEVITY Friday afternoon at a suburban five star, Kapoor is busy promoting MI4: Ghost Protocol and yet people around him want the man to say 'Jhakaas' in his unique 'bindaas' sort of way.
He remains unfazed. "I am doing roles that suit my age and try to look fresh and young in those roles.
I don't want people to tell me that I should act my age. I stopped playing 20-somethings myself.
I have always done things ahead of times," Kapoor says. And that's his plan for 'longevity'.
"That's my game," says the man adding, "I don't want to be a star for just four or five years. I want to be around for 40-50 years.
To remain a star, you should do roles that are ahead of the times. Youngsters should be able to relate to it.
" What's more, he doesn't even regret not running around trees or playing the masala hero anymore. "There are younger actors who can do these things.
Let them do that." STAYING YOUNG, THANKS TO KIDS Kapoor understands the young.
Partly because of his children. "Sonam is much bigger than me.
At times when I go to an event with her, I have to stand aside. The media wants her.
I was quite taken aback. But I also feel happy.
..
proud. Kucch toh baat hai," says the doting parent.
And it's not just Sonam. "Rhea is successful too.
My son is raring to go. I feel I have come closer to my kids.
We discuss stuff as friends. Sonam helps me with my wardrobe.
She was born with a great aesthetic sense. Perhaps she has got it from my wife," Kapoor adds.
TOM LOVED INDIA About time to get hungry. Ever-energetic Anil goes to the counter and orders grilled chicken sandwiches for everyone.
Settling back, he starts discussing his big Hollywood break and 'genuine' friend Tom. The man who did not even know who Danny Boyle was before he was offered a role in the filmmaker's Slumdog Millionaire reveals that he did not intend to become 'big or small'.
He just wanted to work. And today, he is a part of one of the biggest Hollywood franchise Mission Impossible.
Plus, he is friends with the man on the mission - Ethan Hunt aka Tom Cruise. Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't Cruise or the creators of MI4 who wanted the actor to grace India.
It was Kapoor who convinced his co-star. "Tom never asked me about India.
I constantly kept telling him about the positive aspects of India. Mauka mile toh ghus jao bas.
India bolte bolte. I made him believe that India is the best industry across the globe.
I told him about the fantastic people here. The beautiful girls.
The great actors and filmmakers. I told him 1.
1 billion people love him," reveals Kapoor. And thankfully, his prodding helped.
Tom loved India. "Tom told me, 'All my friends are jealous of me'.
He sent pictures of him at the Taj Mahal to his friends in Hollywood. To make them jealous.
For Tom, everything was 'fun'. Media - fun.
Fans - fun! He connects with the fans. He talks to them about their family.
He did not want to miss out on it," adds an excited Kapoor

(less)Top 10 Bollywood movies of year 2011
One" and " Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara " not only satiated the moviegoer's appetite but also yielded profits for the Hindi film industry. Here IANS lists the top 10 movies of the year: 1.
"Bodyguard": Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor's "Bodyguard" broke the opening day records by earning Rs.22 crore on the first day.
Although the story of the film, directed by Siddique , didn't have much to say, the music as well as the action sequences worked in its favour. Salman's signature dialogue - "Mujh par ek ehsaan karna ki mujh par koi ehsaan na karna" - once again struck a chord with fans.
2. "Ra.
One": World class VFX, amazing graphics, innovative marketing, tie-ups with multiple brands and Shah Rukh Khan as the superhero made sci-fi thriller "Ra.One" a profitable venture.
Another highlight of the film was its music, especially the song "Chamak challo" sung by international rapper Akon. And the marathon promotion by the superstar helped bring people to the theatres.
3. "The Dirty Picture": Her sensuous look shocked, her itsy-bitsy clothes astonished and her double meaning dialogues left audiences gasping for breath, but all this nothwithstanding, Vidya Balan swept both the classes and the masses off their feet with her bold avatar in Ekta Kapoor's "The Dirty Picture".
An unofficial biopic of southern sex symbol Silk Smitha, the film broke the myth that only movies with "Khans" work at the box office. 4.
"Ready": Romantic comedies have been a staple of Hindi films and this year Salman Khan's "Ready" used the recipe to earn profits. Shot in exotic locales of Thailand , director Anees Bazmee's drama about mistaken identity saw Salman romancing Asin Thottumkal amid all the hotch-potch in their lives, thanks to their onscreen relatives.
5. "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara": Focussing on three bachelors dealing with their friendship and romance, the well-scripted film, with a resemblance to real life episodes, was supported by beautiful performances by the talented cast - Hrtihik Roshan, Abhay Deol , Farhan Akhtar , with Kalki Koechlin and Katrina Kaif as their love interests.
Kudos to director Zoya Akhtar for bringing liveliness, happiness and joyfulness with such deftness on screen through an adventurous road film mostly based in Spain. 6.
"Singham": An out-and-out action film, the success of "Singham" proves that there are takers for such films. Based on the "good wins over evil" theme, the actioner takes a dig at the corruption within the police department through two main characters - honest cop Ajay Devgn and Prakash Raj as a corrupt politician.
Director Rohit Shetty's film also marked southern actress Kajal Aggarwal's debut in Bollywood. 7.
" Rockstar ": Give him a good role and he can sink his teeth into it. Ranbir Kapoor proved that again by stepping into the shoes of a musician.
From a cute and simple college boy to a crazy lover to a successful but cynical singer, the young actor proved his mettle in every frame. The film appealed despite a faulty script, which had too many loose ends.
In short, it was Ranbir's film, which launched American Pakistani model in the Bollywood business. Other high points of the movie were A.
R. Rahman's music and Mohit Chauhan's singing.
8. "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan": Not good, not bad - that is how Yash Raj Films' "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" could be described.
Thanks to Imran Khan , Katrina Kaif and Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zaffar's tangled love story woven against the backdrop a wedding, the romantic comedy managed to pull the crowds. The film got mixed reviews, but managed to enter the top grosser list of the year.
9. "Delhi Belly": Replete with cuss words, weird situations, witty dialogues, the experimental movie in the English language targeted the urban audiences, who hailed this free will adult comedy as they identified with the characters of Imran Khan, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Vir Das in the movie.
If director Abhinay Deo faced failure with "Game", this film pulled him out of darkness and Aamir Khan once again proved that he has a knack for choosing the best scripts as a producer. 10.
"Yamla Pagla Deewana": After the 2007 release "Apne", the Deol trio - Sunny, Bobby and Dharmendra - returned to the big screen with the comic caper "Yamla Pagla Deewana" by director Sameer Karnik. Though a small budget film, it received an overwhelming response.
The impeccable comic timing between the father and sons struck a chord with the audiences
(less)Karisma looks better than any current heroine: Kareena
"Karisma is looking better than any of the current heroines. I can't even begin to explain how excited I am about her starting work again," she says, clearly not afraid to ruffle feathers with such statements.
The last five years has seen Karisma take an extended maternity leave, looking after her two kids. However, despite staying away from doing a full-fledged role for so long, she has managed to bag impressive projects.
Not only is she gearing up to play the lead in Dangerous Ishq , but she also has been reportedly roped in to do item numbers and endorse brands. You would think her impressive work schedule would make her li'l sister a bit insecure, but knowing how close the two are it's not surprising that Kareena is only more than happy for Karisma.
"We discuss everything..
. from work to clothes to our relationships.
There is hardly a decision I take without consulting Lolo, and it's pretty much the same for her." In fact, Bebo has been advising Karisma on which projects she should take on.
"A lot of work has been coming her way and she was just waiting for the right time. Now we sit together and read stuff and share opinions about the kind of work she needs to do," she adds.
Incidentally, Karisma has done a voiceover for the Kareena-Salman blockbuster Bodyguard . We won't be surprised if the two sisters start making appearances in each other's films pretty soon.

(less)Salman comes to Katrina's rescue
On her recent visit to London, when Katrina had trouble reaching her hotel before the premiere of her film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan , her ex beau-cum-best friend saved her day. Problems started for Katrina after she landed in London from Abu Dhabi, where she had to attend a promotional event first.
The half-hour drive extended to one-and-half hours and Katrina had no idea how far was she from the hotel. A source explained, "The driver of the car organised for her by Yash Raj Films turned out to be a novice who didn't know the roads well enough.
After being driven around for an hour and a half, Katrina got so irritated that she called for a taxi service. And while waiting for the other cab to arrive, she also called Salman to apprise him of her situation.
" The actor was shooting for Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger at that time. Soon after the other taxi arrived, Katrina hauled her luggage and headed straight to a hotel in South Kensington, where Salman was staying, revealed the source.
She requested Salman to organise a car for her with a chauffeur who knew the roads well. It is learnt that when she reached her hotel later, the representatives of YRF were profusely apologetic for the inconvenience caused to her.
"But Katrina had had enough and she was so upset that she didn't want to use any transport being arranged by YRF for her to get to the premiere venue," the source added further. Unfortunately for Katrina, her troubles didn't end there.
It seems the team of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan reached over an hour late for the premiere. And also, the premiere didn't go as well as they expected.
"Maybe it wasn't promoted very well, so naturally the movie's team was surprised that the crowd wasn't as huge as they had anticipated. Since they had reached late, they couldn't spend much time at the venue either because they had to catch a flight to Mumbai," the source informed.
However, by the time Katrina reached the airport, the check-in counters for her return flight had closed. "Obviously, she wasn't too pleased with the way her day was going," the source said, adding that fortunately for her, help came in the form of her co-actor Imran Khan.
"Although he was returning by another airline, Imran helped Katrina secure a reservation on Oman Air, with a stop-over at Muscat," the source added. Tweet
(less)SRK and Ajay Devgn are friends again?
Not surprisingly, the common factor is Rohit Shetty, Devgn's director buddy who's making Chennai Express with SRK next year. The buzz is that, the Chennai Express script had already been discussed with Ajay.
"Since they've done so many movies together, it's but obvious that Ajay and Rohit would discuss ideas. And Chennai Express is one of them.
Back then, they had no fixed time to make it as after Bol Bachchan , Ajay would be busy with Son Of Sardar and Sajid Khan's next for Vashu Bhagnani to name some, while Rohit was committed to doing a film with SRK. So during one of the conversations, Rohit wondered if it was okay with Ajay if he discussed Chennai Express with SRK," a source said, adding that much to the surprise of everyone, the actor agreed.
Later on, when Rohit narrated the script of Chennai Express to SRK, the actor loved it and decided to do the action comedy instead of the remake of Angoor with the director. SRK was even more surprised to know that his best friend Kajol's hubby had no problems if he did the movie.

(less)Ajay Devgn will never win awards: Rohit Shetty
Fashion labels get flaunted on the red carpets and winning speeches, choked with emotions, move audiences. Winners take their bows, and those who almost made it, get back in the race for a new run.
While some actors wait for that unforgettable moment all year long, there are some who don't care as much (or at least they claim they don't) about the ceremonial victory. Instead, all they care for is the box-office reward and the love from their fans.

(less)Karan Johar praises SRK's RA.One
"I just saw RA1! Adrenalin pumping and the best computer graphics india has ever seen!!! Its a MEGA BLOCKBUSTER super hero ride!! OUTSTANDING," the producer and director tweeted. "@iamsrk, the SFX team at Red Chillies and Anubhav have proven that Indian cinema can match and overtake the technology of the west!!!" added Karan.
Not so long there were stories of Shah Rukh being upset with media giving credit to Karan Johar for 'ghost-directing' RA.One and it looks like Karan is ready to extend the olive branch.
"@iamsrk is not only a mega movie star but every inch of his performance is conviction personified!!! Arjun Rampal makes a stunning impact and my darling bebo is the most beautiful ever!!!! Watch out for the kid armaan in the film!!!" he further tweeted. Tweet
(less)Subhash Ghai's 5-star hideout
Unable to rest with constant visitors thronging his place to check on his health, the filmmaker decided to shift base to a hotel. Ghai, who was operated at a famous Bandra hospital frequented by Bollywood celebrities, was discharged in a day.
"The operation went on fine and Ghai sahab was asked to take adequate rest. Gall bladder operation is not a minor thing and the surgical wounds take time to heal.
Everyone who knows him was concerned about his health. So, as soon as he went back home, friends started pouring in.
There were visitors coming in at all times to inquire about his health," revealed a source close to the filmmaker. The good wishes started taking a toll on Ghai.
So much so, that he started having sleepless nights. "It is impolite to turn back visitors, especially when they have come to check on one's health.
And Ghai sahab is very particular about these things. To avoid being rude, he decided to shift out of his home.
He wanted to recuperate in a place where people wouldn't know him. That's when he rented a room in the hotel," said the source.
"The hotel room became almost like his hospital room. His nurse and doctor attended to him there," he added.
Work too seems to have intruded his peaceful recuperation space. "He is a little better now and feels like discussing scripts and ideas with his writers.
So he calls them when he wants to and sits with them for as long as his health and his doctor permits. In fact, this way he can also decide when and who to meet," the source further added.
Ghai, who had been answering his calls with a 'not at home' reply of late, politely told Mumbai Mirror, "I have to stay outside since there are repair work taking place at my home. I am working on my script here with my team of writers.
I am perfect now and shall be back in my office by next week."
(less)Deepika, Chitrangada fight over pink dress
Interestingly, it was a hot pink dress that led to a fight between the two. Apparently designer Ayesha Dasgupta had created a hot pink outfit for the film, which caught the eye of both the leading ladies.
A source added, "The minute Deepika and Chitrangada saw the dress they both wanted to wear it in the film. This put the designer and the production guys in a tight spot, because the girls just refused to budge.
In fact, they started discussing why the dress would suit them better." Ayesha confirmed, "It was quite a complement for me actually.
We made some outfits for the film. I had no idea both the girls would like the dress so much that it would become such a huge issue.
" However, there was no way the same dress could be repeated in the film, so eventually director Rohit Dhawan had to intervene. The source added, "Rohit spoke to both of them and somehow convinced them to stop arguing.
" However, the designer refused to reveal who eventually wore the dress. Tweet

(less)Will Katrina or Kareena win the Khan race?

(less)Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor: When is the wedding really?
However, February 14, 2012 (Valentine's Day), the date on which Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were meant to be marrying, doesn't seem like a probable date. Reason - here's how the first six months of 2012 pans out for this couple.
..
January 15 they return from Gstaad, Switzerland . January 18 Kareena starts to promote Ek Main aur Ekk Tu and shoot for her commercials.
February 11 EMAET releases. February 14 Saif and Kareena at best can get officially engaged, say sources.
February 20 Second major schedule of Heroine begins. March 10 Saifeena start promoting Agent Vinod that is currently scheduled for a March 23 release.
The film's release has already been postponed twice until now. April 2012 Kareena may take up a new film.
While many say she is in the sequel to Once Upon A Time in Mumbai; insiders say nothing is confirmed. However, Rohit Shetty is keen to start his Chennai Express with her and Shah Rukh Khan.
May 2012 Kareena, Rani Mukherji and Aamir Khan start promotion tours for their June 1 release Talaash. So it looks like Saifeena can marry only after June 1.
Incidentally, it is being said that neither Karan Johar nor Aamir Khan are keen that Bebo gets married before the release of their movies. It may just take away the sheen from their respective films.
"Married heroines are welcome in the industry; but a heroine getting married just before the release is a 'no-no'," says a trade source. punetimes@timesgroup.

Courtesy: the snowstorm that has struck the area. Mumbai Mirror has learnt that the estimated loss is about Rs 8 lakh.
"Worse still, the set will now have to be rebuilt. This will involve non-stop work to reduce the loss of working days in the schedule," informed a source close to the film.
"In fact, director Vikramaditya Motwane , DOP Mahendra Shetty and art director Aditya Kanwar were out on a recce of the set constructed in Gawar, an area three kilometers off Dalhousie. Scared about the entire set construction team being stranded there, with the heavy snow, Aditya even decided to stay back with them.
" added the source. While the sets are suffering, lead actress Sonakshi has her own set of problems to deal with.
"Sonakshi has been stuck in the hotel room since the last three days. She reached Dalhousie last week only," informed the source.
At the time of going to press, we also heard that lead actor Ranveer was stranded at the Jammu airport for the last two days. "The road from the airport to the hotel is snow laden and he will have to wait till the roads get cleared," said the source
(less)Kareena won't be immortalised in wax at Tussauds
As it turns out, not everything is what it seems. According to sources, the Chameli look has not been finalised and her wax statue won't be displayed in the famous museum, but a new branch somewhere in Blackpool, a small town in North West England.
"Initially, the Kareena camp leaked reports that her wax statue was to be unveiled on August 15. Now that the date is upon us, they are saying the event has been postponed to October and that the statue might be unveiled in Blackpool," said a source, adding that no Chameli look was ever finalised.
So far, six Indians have found place at Madame Tussauds, a museum of wax statues. These include Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and early this year, Hrithik Roshan.
A person close to Kapoor requesting anonymity claimed that while the statue will be unveiled in Blackpool, it will later be transported to the famous museum in London. "Bebo's statue will be unveiled at a new Madame Tussauds in Blackpool and later transported to London.
The idea is to start off a new Madame Tussauds in Blackpool with Bebo's statue," he said. On Kapoor's look for the statue, he agreed that none has been finalised.
"Designer Manish Malhotra was given the job of deciding Bebo's look at Madame Tussauds and he gave three options -- her characters in Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham , Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met and Sudhir Mishra's Chameli . But the final look is yet to be decided.
" Another friend of Kapoor's appeared angry at the insinuations that she has been generating the stories. "Bebo is not a nobody who needs to plant stories, trying to prove how she is in demand," she said.

(less)Possessive Saif takes offense to Bebo kissing Sylvester Stallone | Bollywood News and Gossip
Saif had been on the sets for many days and all was well till July 18, Sly’s first day on the set. Kareena, was like an excited school girl around him, which irritated Saif .
Bebo and Sly were to shoot for a scene where he saves her from a dangerous situation. After the rescue, Kareena threw her arms around Sly and kissed him smack on the cheek.
It is not clear if the kiss was part of the scene but it didn’t go down well with Saif. After the scene, an upset Saif who had seen the scene on the monitor was seen talking seriously to Kareena.
Saif took Kareena into a corner. She was overheard telling him that she simply did what was asked of her.
She also told Saif that she’d never complain if he did a kissing scene with his leading lady. At one point, she got irritated and snapped that he shouldn’t come on her sets if he couldn’t deal with her intimate scenes with other heroes.
They continued to argue till Saif walked out in a huff. But the much-in-love couple patched up soon afterwards.
Kareena’s best friend Amrita Arora who was on the sets that day was one of the witnesses to the Saif-Kareena fight. She was seen calming down Bebo after Saif stomped out.
By evening, the lovers patched up and Bebo was seen whispering sweet nothings into Saif’s ear at dinner. Kareena and Sajid remained unavailable for comment.
Stallone got along especially well with Akshay. They would spend hours discussing athletic workouts and diets.
Stallone seemed very impressed with Akshay and the fact that he had such a strong body without picking up any weights. Stallone’s diet consists of his food including proteins like tuna fish and Indian kebabs.

(less)No Golmaal 4 before 2013: Rohit Shetty
"Yes, we have put on hold plans for Golmaal 4 . I am not going to work on the film this year or next year.
May be in 2013 we will start shooting for it but even that's not too sure. I would love to make other films in the interim," said Rohit.
Though his Golmaal films have done well at the box business, Shetty wants to come up with something unique to begin the fourth movie. "I always work on fresh ideas and if that's not true then I could have put two more heroes other than Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan in 'Bol Bachchan' and sold it as Golmaal 4 .
"But I didn't do that. Good stories are available, but then they should justify the brand that you are selling.
I don't want to cheat audience by giving them something in the name of 'Golmaal' when I myself is not convince," he added. Shetty, who finished Singham in just 132 days, is in no hurry to finish Bol Bachchan .
"I am tired after working hard on 'Singham'. I am in no mood to make Bol Bachchan in such a short time.
I would wrap it up by January next year," said Shetty. The director, who started his career in 2003 with Zameen , says that over the years he has learnt how to take care of business and economy while making a film.
" Singham was made at a cost which was 25 per cent lesser than that of Golmaal 3 . I could have increased the budget but what's the point in doing that?" Shetty is looking to remake Gulzar's 1982 movie Angoor with Shah Rukh Khan but says it is too early to talk about the project.
"I had narrated the idea of remaking Angoor with Shah Rukh a few months back when he was in India. However I got busy with Singham soon after.
There was just one meeting between us, that's about it. I guess it would be very premature on my part to talk about that further," he added.

(less)Sanjay Dutt's secret is out!
After sometime we discovered that he went bikini shopping for the actresses." But the good-humoured director had a bigger secret to reveal about his actor and close pal Sanjay Dutt who he lovingly calls Sanju.
David and Sanjay have known each other for about 25 years now. He has directed Sanjay in about half a dozen films and he should know better.
David revealed that during the initial years of his career when he began directing Sanjay's films, Sanjay would keep rejecting his heroine and would zero upon the fourth or the fifth one. Well, but what was Sanjay's criteria of finalising his heroine? David had no answer for that, or probably he didn't want to reveal that part fearing that he would irk the influential hero and good friend.
And when somebody rightly asked David whether Kangana Ranaut was Sanjay's (the actor is also producing ""Rascals"") first choice or the fourth one for ""Rascals"", and David replied, ""I am talking about Sanjay like he was about two decades back."" It doesn't matter much if David doesn't disclose more than this which he will never do, but one secret of the industry is certainly out.
Whereas most heroes claim that they don't interfere in the selection of their heroines and leave it to the producer and director, it is certainly not true. And then, controversial s tories revolving around ""Rascal's"" female lead has been in circulation for a long time now.
First we heard that Kangna created a fuss over donning a bikini for a particular scene in the film. Then there were stories about her 'special friendship' with Sanjay and Ajay, Then there was news of cracks in their relationship.
Then came tales of her being shunned from the promotional campaigns of the film. And now there are stories of her refusing to dub the film unless paid an additional fee.
And as the film's other producer Sanjay Ahluwalia was candid enough to admit that there were issues with Kangana which they were trying to sort out and that was the reason why she was missing from the music launch of the film. Guess truth will never come out

(less)I’m scared to Google my name: Sayali Bhagat
Even I told myself, 'who wants to act in a horror film?' But when I was given the narration, I liked the subject. It is not just a horror film where you see demons and dead bodies flying and screaming.
It is rare in the sense that it is a story of a doctor who believes in ghosts. Science and demons do not go hand-in-hand, but this film shows that and that is why it interested me.
After doing the film, I have actually started believing in ghosts. The audience will get to see the movie through my eyes.
So, is it more your film than anybody else in the flick? The film shows a beautiful romantic relationship between Shiney Ahuja and me. But yes, the narrative is through me.
Even in earlier horror films like "Raaz" and "Bhoot", it was Bipasha Basu and Urmila Matondkar who were crucial to the plot. I think women are given more importance in horror flicks because they have varied emotions - love, fear, vengeance - all in extremes.
You made headlines recently with your allegations against some of the big names in the industry. You did clarify but those allegations got Big B to take to a microblogging account and voice his anger.
I am still agitated with the whole episode. I still can't understand why he (Anant Narayan) did it! It appalls me.
..
. And not just me, he has done it with so many other celebs.
I don't know why he never thought that he could be arrested. I understand Mr Amitabh Bachchan's sentiments.
Anybody would have gotten angry. And I think when he posted about the allegations, he was talking about the 'malign' against me and not about me leveling allegations against him.
So many names were dragged into it and that night itself (when the news about allegations broke), I made frantic calls to each and every person concerned and clarified that it is not me who has leveled such allegations against them. I am fortunate that they heard me out and understood me.
I had a word with Shiney's wife as well. It must be a relief now that he (Anant) is arrested? It is, but, like I said, I am yet to recover from the entire episode.
I was so mad and felt helpless as I didn't know how to go about stopping him from maligning me further. An actor friend then told me that I should contact the cyber crime cell.
I didn't even know that something like cyber crime cell existed and that maligning somebody is a non-bailable offence. After I got to know about it, I took it further.
There were talks that it was all a publicity gimmick..
. No, it was not.
I have heard about it too. I have heard people saying 'Oh! her film is soon to release, that's why she is doing all these to be in news'! Why would I malign myself to be in the news? It's bizarre.
Moreover, my film is releasing in January, so where's the connection? It is wrong to make up stories, you know. I didn't do anything for publicity, otherwise why would I call up every actor who I 'supposedly' maligned and clarify myself and also get Anant arrested? Today, I am scared to Google my name because all my contributions to modeling comes later and all the controversies are on the first page.
Like most celebs, controversies have followed you too..
. when Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik tied the knot, you were questioned because you once dated him.
..
why did you answer questions? Being in the industry for the past seven years, I know what controversies mean. I have accepted the fact they will always keep following us.
When Sania and Shoaib got married, I was dragged into the controversy. There was no need for people to question me, but they did and I had to answer because I can't shy away.
I am a public person and I understand the importance of media. Even now, as I promote "Ghost", I know I will be asked questions about the allegations and Shiney.
Yes, Shiney..
. while working with him, did you at any point feel that he was disturbed by all that has happened to him? Let me tell you first that I was scared of Shiney.
I was very apprehensive about whether we will be able to work together or not. I felt uncomfortable for the first two-three days.
Then one day, on the sets, I saw him eating a cheesecake. And I went up to him and said, 'I am jealous, because I love cheesecakes'.
That broke the ice. I remember that night I called my dad and told him that I think I am now comfortable and see the film happening.
It was not because the ice between Shiney and me had broken, but also because I wasn't scared of Shiney anymore, all the fears had gone. We then started talking about films, life and many other subjects off sets.
And I realized he is not only an interesting person but also very philosophical. It was very interesting in fact, to discover that we had so many subjects of interest in common.
So, have you also discovered a philosopher who can be with you for the rest of your life? You are talking about a boyfriend, right? Well, I really don't know whether I have a man in my life or not. Right now I am in a confused state.
It's like I am a confused single because things are just starting and I don't know where it is headed. And if you want to know whether he is an actor or not, well, I am not going to tell you that.

(less)Saif, Kareena: No-kissing policy
Says Bebo and he have decided against puckering up with co-stars Saif Ali Khan is unhappy with reports claiming he has smooched co-star Deepika Padukone in Race 2. Apparently, there are no kissing scenes in the film and Saif is wondering where these stories have originated from.
Says a source close to the actor, "During the release of their last film Aarakshan, there was buzz that Saif and Deepika had become very fond of each other. Now with Race 2 around the corner, everyone's talking about the kissing scene.
Saif wants to nip these rumours in the bud. He even plans to talk to Deepika about it.
" Interestingly, we hear that about a year ago Saif and Kareena Kapoor had decided they wouldn't do kissing scenes in their films and even made their decision clear to filmmakers. Adds the source, "With marriage imminent early next year, they don't want any controversies.
Even in the case of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine , Kareena has made it clear that she won't do kissing scenes. For Race 2, Saif had communicated the same to directors Abbas-Mustaan.
" Khan confirms to BT, "There are no kissing scenes in Race 2." His spokesperson adds, "Kareena and Saif had decided on a no-kissing policy sometime ago.
" Strangely though, all parties associated with the film confirm that there are indeed intimate scenes between Saif and Deepika. Which is confounding because aren't intimate scenes a step ahead of kissing scenes? So then, does the pact between the Nawab and his to-be-Begum make sense? Perhaps Himesh Reshammiya will see the irony in this situation because the lines from his song Umrao Jaan, which go something like, "No kissing, no kissing.
..
only seeing, only seeing!' completely defines the above situation!

(less)Priyanka Chopra hugs Arch rival Kareena Kapoor | Bollywood News and Gossip
The Kapoor girl taken unawares was forced to extend a warm hug too. Says a source, “Kareena arrived late and made her way to the reserved table.
For a while she was sitting alone. Later director Madhur Bhandarkar was seen with her at the table.
Meanwhile PC was seated a few tables away waiting for her performance. Says an onlooker, “As soon as she saw Kareena seated, Priyanka walked up to her and bent over her to give her a warm hug.
Bebo reciprocated. For a few moments they exchanged niceties and PC went back to her seat.
” Adds the onlooker, “Everyone was taken by surprise by PC’s move.” Last year, at the annual police mela PC had apparently gone up to Bebo and said, “Let’s forget what has happened and begin anew.
” Both had also danced together on stage with Shah Rukh Khan. However, Kareena had then gone on to ignore Priyanka after that.

(less)Raghubir Yadav: Remembering M F Hussain
And apart from 'small' co-incidences like being part of last three Oscar nominated movies from India, Yadav's interesting career graph also got includes his work with legendary artist MF Hussain in 'Meenaxi' (directed by Hussain). Raghubir says, "I had known him for quite a time when one day his son called me saying Hussain wanted to talk to me about a project he was going to start.
I was overjoyed, but it didn't stop there. After we talked, nothing happened for sometime and suddenly after few days, when I was in Dubai , he called again.
He said 'tell me where you are, I'll come to meet you'. I proposed to come to his hotel instead with my already humbled self.
And he was such a magnificent persona with powerful auras that just when I looked at him for first time, it immediately came out of my mouth that 'I am doing your film', after which we discussed the story!" He continues, "A genius by all rights, his company taught many life-lessons during the shooting. One day he asked whether I had seen his earlier film 'Gaja Gamini' or not, and incidentally I hadn't seen it.
So I asked him to show it to me, and he said we'll watch it tomorrow. The same thing kept on happening till the last day of shooting, I would want to watch the film and he would say 'tomorrow'.
On the last day, he said, 'Now it's the last day, so it's okay if we see 'Gaja Gamini'. Actually I was scared that I had made a film, on watching which, you might have run away from this film!', and we both laughed.
We have just not lost a great artist, but also a great persona and human from our country", concludes Raghubir in emotional voice
(less)When Paresh pulled a prank on Shilpa Shinde
On the same day Shilpa lost her gold chain. Everyone on the set was convinced that there was a thief on the sets and Shilpa announced that she was going to file a police complaint about the thefts.
But on the same evening her gold chain was found and a little later Sumit's and Paresh's belongings were also found and at the same place where Shilpa's gold chain was found. It was too much of a coincidence for Shilpa and she realised it was a prank.
"These guys have been trying to pull a prank on me for quite a few days but each time I figured it out. I actually skipped a heart beat when I realised my chain had gone missing.
Their pranks finally get a smile on everyone's face and all is well that ends well," Shilpa said in a statement. Paresh said Shilpa is a smart girl and it was not easy to fool her.
"Our attempts to catch her off-guard always failed. We had to find a way to fool her.
So this time while planning a prank on the cast and crew, we saw an opportunity to target Shilpa and changed our plan accordingly. Apart from the two of us, no one knew anything about it and their reactions were genuine which made Shilpa believe everything.

(less)Sajid possessive about Jacqueline?
Apparently, Khan forbade her from doing an item number for Desi Boyz starring Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. Says an insider, "Director Rohit Dhawan and producer Krishika Lulla were keen that Jackie do an item song for DB.
However, she refused the song saying Sajid (Khan) wouldn't like it. Apparently, the director has a say in whatever Jackie does, personally and professionally.
The 'official' reason is that if Jackie acts with John in Desi Boyz (it releases before Housefull 2), the pairing would lose its freshness for Sajid's film." Khan refutes the buzz, "She hasn't discussed anything with me.
It's her choice..
. I will never interfere with anyone's career.
If she asks me, I will definitely stop her. Jackie is paired opposite John in my film.
If she performs an item song with Akshay and John in Desi Boyz and it releases before my film, it will affect the freshness of my film. I won't allow any of my pairs - Akshay-Asin, John-Jackie and Ritiesh-Zarine - to do item songs together in anyone else's film before Housefull 2 releases.
" When asked if he didn't want Jackie to turn down the song because of their personal equation, Khan says, "I don't discuss my personal life." Jacqueline says, "Sajid is the director of my next film, Housefull 2.
He wants to see John and me as a fresh screen pair with this film. Doing the DB song would've killed that element, so I respected his decision and passed on the opportunity.
" Krishika adds, "Jacqueline told me Sajid wouldn't allow her to do the song."
(less)Krushna replaces Shreyas Talpade
Ever since, I have been taking potshots at him through my acts on my comedy show about how Rohit didn't fulfill his promise. Finally I'm doing his movie.
" Krushna isn't apprehensive of being stereotyped as a comedian. He says, "Beggars can't be choosers.
I am not in a position to call the shots. I am dishing out what people expect me to.
I can only be choosy once I reach somewhere." Doesn't he feel that the recognition came late to him? "Post Nach Baliye, I was flooded with TV offers but I was scared to see my co-participants (daily soap actors) coming all exhausted from their shoot.
Half of them would fall ill due to rehearsals. It wasn't my cup of tea so I steered clear of daily soaps.
Whatever I am today is all because of my hard work. I have never turned to Govinda (his uncle) for any help.
Imran was launched by his maama Aamir Khan but I never approached mine fo the same."
(less)Imran rates 8.5 for Kareena Kapoor’s backside
To be precise, Bebo compliments Imran's derriere and rates it with a generous 8/10 while Imran rates Kareena 4/10! Of course, one also thought it would be interesting to know what Imran thought of the backsides of the other beautiful women in B-Town. The actor was reluctant to do the exercise.
However, on being coerced, he agreed. He also said, "I would have given Bebo a 8.
5/10 for her curvaceous backside." What stopped him, though, was her beau Saif's bulky biceps.
"I don't want to be too enthusiastic, Saif looks beefed up these days." He gave Deepika Padukone a whopping 9/10 and said, "Best behind in the business!" Imran finds Priyanka Chopra a natural beauty, and Kat not as curvy as she used to be, scored 8/10 and 7/10 respectively.
"Kat has lost too much weight," he adds
(less)Shreyas Talpade now becomes the prankster
" Apparently, he could not resist the urge to pull a fast one on his building watchmen. "He was shooting in a Nawabi outfit donning a moustache and the trademark nawabi topi and had not bothered to change his costume once the shoot was over.
He returned home in the same attire and decided to play a prank on the watchmen of his building." The actor told the security personnel that he had traveled all the way from Hyderabad to meet Shreyas Talpade and that he had also spoken to the actor over the phone and taken an appointment to meet him.
"The security guards did not permit him to step inside the gates and the drama continued for 30 minutes. Amidst the bickering, Shreyas's false moustache gave away.
On recognising him, the watchmen apologised profusely. But he could do nothing but laugh over hthe entire episode", says the friend
(less)Bollywood went from gloom to glory, singing 'Ooh la la'
6 million)-mark in 2011. And, sure enough, a pot of gold lay at the end of the rainbow year thanks to the "real hero" Vidya Balan.
Bollywood rediscovered hits with "Bodyguard", " Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", "Ready", "Singham" and "Ra.One" this year.
According to Box Office India, while Salman Khan's "Bodyguard" and "Ready" collected Rs.229 crore and Rs.
179 crore respectively, multi-starrer "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" raked in Rs.152 crore.
Ajay Devgn's "Singham" joined the jakpot with Rs.139-crore earnings.
Made at a budget of over Rs.60 crore, Ranbir Kapoor-starrer " Rockstar" is expected to earn Rs.
105 crore while Shah Rukh Khan's "Ra.One", the first of its kind in terms of technological use, pocketed Rs.
240 crore. "It has been a very positive year.
..
this year has proved fruitful with more hits than last year," film historian S.M.
M. Ausaja told IANS.
It won't be wrong to say that the Vidya- and Rani Mukerji-starrer "No One Killed Jessica" - the first big release of the year - turned out to be the lucky mascot. Based on the Jessica Lall murder case, it brought the masses and classes to the theatres and the footfalls did not stop thereafter.
Made at a budget of Rs.10 crore, it grossed Rs.
49 crore. 2011 can also be called Vidya's year.
She came dancing on "Ooh la la" as the sex symbol Silk Smitha in "The Dirty Picture" and rocked the box office. The film earned rave reviews and earned Rs.
66 crore net in the first 11 days. The joyride wasn't for biggies alone; small fry too cruised happily side by side.
The approximate earnings of "Yamla Pagla Deewana", "Tanu Weds Manu", and "Delhi Belly" were Rs.87 crore, 54.
50 crore and Rs.89.
50 crore respectively, while their budgets were Rs.26 crore, Rs.
17.5 crore and Rs.
25 crore respectively. Also "Chalo Dilli", "7 Khoon Maaf", "Shor in the City" and "Force" walked away with critical acclaim.
The content of "Stanley Ka Dabba" and "Pyaar Ka Punchnama" too got a thumbs up. "Small budget films doing well at the box office is another good sign, as at least new producers and directors will get motivated.
People used to be scared of making such films because there was no audience. But the audiences have opened up and they are largely appreciating the content," said Ausaja.
"Films like 'No One Killed Jessica' or 'Delhi Belly' are niche films and their star value has added to the saleability. It's nice to see that people are experimenting and their experiments are reaping benefits at the box office," said film critic Omar Qureshi.
In between, the box-office journey was impeded by the poor response to "Patiala House", "Game" and "Dum Maaro Dum", but only temporarily. The industry witnessed many changes this year - extensive use of technology, the focus on weekend collections and aggressiveness in film promotion.
"The business no longer spreads across 25 weeks. It has come down to weekends and I would say that this year's movies have been able to capture the weekend very well.
No movie gives you enough time. It just dazzles you.
It is either good or bad," said Qureshi. Ausaja pointed out that the revenue expanded because "marketing and promotion tactics turned aggressive.
Then there are so many mediums available - whether it is the internet, mobile or television. The number of screens has increased.
" Filmmakers adopted macro marketing devices like live concerts and travelling to two-tier and three-tier cities to create awareness about their films. "Marketing plays a crucial role in telling the audience what a film stands for.
The strategies have indeed changed. We have now moved away from a micro-marketing approach," said Priti Shahani, chief strategy and marketing officer, Reliance Entertainment.
"It is important to have a consistency between content and communication for the audience. Connecting with the audience is of paramount importance.
We now release films on as many as 2,000 screens and it becomes important to get the audience," he added. There were moments of sorrow and pain when luminaries like Shammi Kapoor and Dev Anand bid their final adieu.
Filmdom also halted to mourn the death of Jagmohan Mundhra, Jagjit Singh, Bhupen Hazarika, Manish Acharya and Gautam Rajadhyaksha. "Don 2 - The King Is Back" will be the last big release of the year and trade analysts are optimistic that the box office will reach its zenith with it
(less)Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan's secret vacation!
The recent passing of Bebo's grand uncle Shammi Kapoor doesn't seem to have put a dampener on her plans either. Says a source close to the couple, "Last week they were shooting for Agent Vinod, but nobody knew what Kareena had planned for Saif's birthday.
She requested Saif's production partner Dinesh Vijan for five days off from the shoot to whisk him off to London. This year, Saif's birthday plans have been kept completely quiet and nobody except their families know where they are.
They are staying at their favourite hotel Claridge's. Kareena even made all the arrangements for the birthday dinner on Tuesday night at an exclusive resto-bar in London.
" The source adds that Kareena and Saif were both adamant that they needed a short break. Though she was in the middle of photo shoots, promotional events and shooting for Agent Vinod, she completed everything before she left with Saif.
Kareena wanted to make this year special for him. As for Saif, taking this break meant a mix of both work and leisure, as he has some work-related meetings in London.
"They don't want anybody to know about their vacation, so they quietly flew out on August 14. This time the couple didn't want anybody to know what Kareena's birthday plans for Saif were.
Their close friends got to know only the next day." In the past.
..
A year ago, Kareena and Saif brought in Saif's birthday in Latvia , where he was shooting for Agent Vinod. In 2009, Kareena had taken off with Saif to an undisclosed location near Chicago for a secret vacation after completing their shoot for Kurbaan.
In 2008, she had thrown a birthday party for Saif at a nightspot in Mumbai. A day before flying off Kareena, had told BT, "I can't talk about Saif's birthday plans.
He doesn't like us to talk about our personal life. All I can say is that we will be in London.

(less)Ajay Devgn gave away Chikni Chameli to Karan Johar
Says a source close to Devgn, "Director Rohit Shetty and he had signed on the music directors of the original Marathi song as they wanted an item song for Bol Bachchan. The song also featured AD and Abhishek Bachchan in it.
Rohit was planning to approach Katrina Kaif or Kareena Kapoor for the same. This would be the first time that a Rohit Shetty film would have an item song.
But everything changed when Karan approached Ajay-Atul to do Chikni Chameli for them in Agneepath." The music duo also requested Devgn for permission to do the song with Karan instead as the film was releasing before Bol Bachchan and doing a film with KJo would mean a lot to them.
"Ajay was moved by their request and immediately told them they could go ahead. Now Rohit and Ajay have decided to scrap the song from the film altogether.
It was a gesture few know about, including Karan himself."
(less)Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar gear up for some action
The two biggest action heroes of present day Bollywood have decided to come together for Rohit Shetty's next action flick that will go on floors late next year. The news of the patch-up has shocked the entire industry because from the very get-go, when Akshay and Ajay worked together in Sandesh Kohli's 1994 film, they were never able to see eye-to-eye.
Tensions between Akshay and Ajay escalated to a new high when Ajay announced that his next project would tentatively be titled Son Of Sardar, which incidentally was already registered under Akshay's banner Hari Om Entertainment (Mumbai Mirror, July 23, 2011). However, the same subject of dispute ended up being the platform on which Akshay and Ajay made peace.
A source informed us that the two, who last worked together in the 2005 film Insaan, bonded when Ajay went to meet Akki on the sets of Rowdy Rathore to request Khiladi Kumar to part with the film title, Son Of Sardar. "Akshay explained to Ajay that he could not part with the title as he had already finished scripting the film and it would be going on floors very soon.
That is when Akshay proposed that they should do a film together. Ajay loved the idea and they immediately got down to planning the project.
They decided to co-produce the film under both their banners. Ajay also spoke to his close friend Rohit Shetty to direct the venture," explained the source
(less)Kareena Kapoor's Punjabiyat
Don't blame Kareena Kapoor's lineage for her exuberant Punjabi spirit. She possesses array of other qualities too, which makes her a true-blue Punjabi lass.
Like, she's always excited, loves ethnic Punjabi dresses, adore Punjabi fare, and finally she's shot in the state many times. "'Bodyguard' is the latest," smiled Kareena.
"The moment I step in Punjab, I feel at home. I don't have words to describe as to what I go through.
" While Kareena camped in Nabha shooting for "Jab We Met", for " Bodyguard " she stayed in Patiala. "Rich culture and hospitality is something that attract me.
I have been brought up in a lavish Punjabi way so I can't stop myself from visiting the place," she said. Grapevine has it that Kareena is also learning Punjabi.
"It's a very sweet language. Who wouldn't like to speak it?" said Kareena.
Also, what adds to Kareena's excitement is north's winter. "The weather, especially in December and January, is so amazing that I go crazy," she said.
We hear Kareena, who's also religious by nature, is planning another trip to Punjab soon. The actress is also keen to explore rural culture.
"It will be fun. Getting up early, going for a walk in verdant fields.
I think I need not hit the gym once I stay on the countryside," she said. Very few people know that Kareena bought multi-hued Punjabi outfits along with parandi (kind of braiding) on her last trip to Punjab.
Asked about the secret of her beauty, she replied, "I am a Punjabi." Kareena's happy with Bollywood, but in case she gets an amazing Punjabi script, she would not refuse.
""Let's see how things shape up,"" she said
