With so many crimes happening against women, I feel depressed. One day I got a call from the Delhi Police, who discussed their plans for the campaign with me.

I didn't think twice and agreed to be a part of their drive. Besides an audio campaign we have also made a small movie, which will be telecast in theatres and other public places.

Why Delhi? I am open for such drives/campaigns everywhere. But with Delhi, I am quite attached.

It's our nation's dil, aur agar koi dil ko chot pahunchaega to dukh toh hoga na. I had several meetings with the top Delhi police officials and there we decided to get on with the campaign.

Crime against women is one aspect and we are also looking at other notorious activities and crime incidents that can be controlled through audio-visual modes. They also had Virender Sehwag in a campaign urging people to follow traffic norms.

You see, curbing crime is very important. Since I connect very well with the youth, they wanted me to be a part of the initiative.

I am happy I'm contributing positively towards society. Do you remember any particular incident made you angry? There are so many of them.

Every day, girls are being harassed on Delhi roads. One has to crack the whip.

Really, I feel like catching such rowdy elements myself so that I can talk to them and ask them what their problem is. Why are they doing this? We need to remove the tag of Delhi as the crime capital, urgently.

The actor studied pictures and videos of the athlete to get the body language right. He met Milkha's trainer Havaldar Gurdev Singh to take notes on how he trained the Flying Sikh.
