Zohra Sehgal in Cheeni Kam Who said 80 year old moms can't be fun? As the motormouth dhaba owner who prays for her son's well-being (for which she ties her two fingers with a dhaaga) she also provides him silent strength to stand up against evil.

Ratna Pathak Shah in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na Ratna Pathak Shah was a revelation in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na as the paranoid yet liberated single mom who worked as a social activist (and also vented her angst to her late hubby hanging from a photo frame from time to time complaining about her son) in Imran Khan's debut flick, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. A role that was smartly sketched, unfortunately she didn't have too many memorable scenes, although she did make an impact anyway! (less)

Also present is 10-year-old comic book lover Govinda (Ashwin Chitale), who dreams of everyone's life being just like a comic book.

How Rahul gets influenced by these characters in the hospice and how he makes the most of his limited time is what Aashayein is about. This moving saga is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor of Iqbal (2005) and Bombay to Bangkok (2008) fame (less)

Bollywood dancing diva Madhuri Dixit paid a surprise visit. Interestingly, both have a Devdas connection.

Ashish Vidyarthi plays a corrupt home minster. Tabu will be seen getting falsely entangled in a messy murder case that defames her and Sunny will be her knight in shining armour to help her get out of the problems.

He passed out of FTII in 1970. En route to Pune on Saturday, Nischol suffered a massive cardiac arrest even before their car reached Sion in central Mumbai.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead, agencies reported. Nischol who spent quite some time in Pune, was on his way to the city with Randhir Kapoor, when he suffered a cardiac arrest that caused his death.

The actor was at the FTII, Pune with Paintal and Shatrughan Sinha. Nischol had made a successful debut with Sawan Bhadon in 1970 and appeared in several films like Victoria No 203, Dhund, Chhalia, Parwana and Buddha Mil Gaya.

He gained much popularity for his television show Dekh Bhai Dekh alongside Farida Jalal, Shekhar Suman. He was last seen in films like Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006) and Break Ke Baad (2010).
