(less)Anupam Kher not mourning his dad's death
He lived a full life. He witnessed so many wonderful happenings during his life.
He liked to spread happiness wherever he went. I'm sure he's at this very moment making everyone laugh in heaven," said Anupam.
His father died on Feb 10. Anupam had left for Goa to attend the wedding of his friend David Dhawan's son when the news of his father's death reached the actor.
He had to return from Goa airport. "I'm sure if my father had his way, he'd have urged me to attend the wedding instead of returning.
" "My father was my greatest critic and fan. He would call up from our home-town in Shimla inquiring about every snippet of news that appeared about me in Hindi and English newspapers.
'Beta, unhonein aisa kyon likha?' He'd wonder at some insignificant but nasty news item. I had to remind him to just chill," said Anupam Every morning unfailingly, Anupam made that morning call to his father to give him the low down on the previous day's activities.
"More recently, of course, my parents had moved to Mumbai to be with me and my brother. So I was relieved from the pain of missing that morning phone chat with him now when he's not available on the phone any more," said Anupam.
The Khers' home has shunned the normal mournful atmosphere. "Like I said, we're celebrating his death.
For the condolence meeting on Monday, we've asked all our friends to please not show up in the mournful black and white clothes. Come clothed in colours, please.
Because that's what my father provided in our lives all his life. "Lots of vibrant colours of joy and positivity.
I know he's up there looking down at us. He will find a way to connect with me, just like he did even in those days of bad STD connections between Shimla and Mumbai," said Anupam.

(less)Anita Raj is back on silver screen
Samir's excited about presenting the Anita in a new avatar. Says he,"It's always good to see actors from another era.
They create a novelty for a cinema goer and also for their fans. I know all actors love to act so why not? Roles have changed over the years but once an actor, always an actor.
'' Anita recalls how she got involved in the film, and says, "I got a call from my brother that Samir wanted to meet me for his movie. Samir came home and read out the script to me saying that the role would be of a Maharani with three kids.
Just before leaving home for the shoot, I was feeling very low because it had been really long since I had left my family. But when I reached the sets of 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni' it was like I was never away.
Anupam Kher , Om Puri , Tusshar, Kulraj and the rest of the cast became family. We'd all wine and dine together, enjoying ourselves between some really good work.

(less)Riteish and I are two items in 'Kya Super...': Tusshar
We are the item boys and have shot for the song - 'Dil garden garden ho gaya'," said Tusshar, responding to a question whether there was an item song in the film and what he thought of the trend of such numbers. "We are there in that song with the girls.
So you can consider those girls the item girls or call us item boys, it doesn't matter," he added. Though item songs have become an integral part of movies and is used to lure the audiences, Riteish asserts that a film's success doesn't depend on the music.
"I think, when a song of a film gets popular, then a film's name is remembered. But just because of a song no film works.
A film's success depends on its director and the way it is made. Only a good film that is liked by the audience works at the box office," he said.
Directed by Sachin Yardi , produced by Ekta Kapoor , the film also stars model-turned-actress Sarah Jane Dias, Neha Sharma, Chunky Pandey and Anupam Kher . It is set to hit screens Aug 2
