Mahie Gill, Randeep Hooda's kissing scene leaked
Popular websites now have the entire shoot sequence with Randeep and Mahie biting and kissing each other lying on what looks like a shawl. Randeep's left hand is outstretched and it looks like he is holding a camera.
The other hand is of course busy holding Mahie. The more than a minute long raunchy sequence perhaps was the reason for Randeep's wedding being called off by real life girlfriend Neetu Chandra
(less)I would like to try comedy: Mahie Gill
I feel lucky to have worked with some very good actors and directors. Also I feel proud to have done some female-oriented subjects as well, but at the same time I would like to try comedy too which I have not done till now.
" So what kind of a comedy role she would like to opt for? "Well, something interesting like 'Hera Pheri', but not a slapstick one," she says. The actress, who's also waiting for her next release 'Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster' opposite Randeep Hooda, says, "I am just waiting for 'Sahib Biwi' to release.
This flick is inspired by yesteryears film's 'Sahib Bibi Aur Gulam'. Though the characterisation is the same but the film is different; it's today's film.
" Seek her comment on the much-talked about kissing scene with co-star Randeep Hooda and she clarifies, "I know, I was misquoted as saying 'it was easier to smooch Randeep over Deepak'. That's not true.
What I meant to say was that the kissing scene with Randeep was easy because that was shot at the end of the film, while with Deepak it was shot on the very first day. So I was not comfortable.
"
(less)Intimate scenes no big deal for Mahie, Randeep
But after watching the film, nobody talked about it, which is a good thing. My family saw the film but they didn't even mention it or ask me about it," Mahie said here.
Randeep, who earlier shot steamy scenes for his long-delayed film Rang Rasiya , too justified the scenes. "It is a part of the film.
..
It is not pornographic. It is actually a very emotional scene in which two lovers indulge in physical intimacy which is very natural.
So when you see the film, you won't find it sleazy, you will feel the emotions," he said. The movie, which released Sep 30, is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and features Jimmy Shergill.
It talks about betrayal, and is said to have been inspired by the principal characters of Guru Dutt's 1962 classic Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam . Tweet

(less)Im okay being called bold: Mahie Gill
Off late we have seen her doing quite a few glam and bold characters, whether it's in 'Not A Love Story' or 'Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster' . Ask the actress if she's focusing more on glam roles now and she says, "I am not focusing on glam roles, they are just coming my way.
Moreover, I am not comfortable with doing such bold scenes but it's just that the directors, I work with, shoot such scenes so aesthetically that I can't say no. Even before ' Not A Love Story' got released, everybody was talking about the kissing sequence between me and Deepak Dobriyal.
I told them first watch the film and see what it's about and then comment. And you won't believe, after watching the film, nobody was bothered about the kissing scene as the content was so strong.
The kind of directors, I am working with, are not the ones who could say ki kissing ya bold scene karna hai . They say it is required for the film, and if I am convinced, I leave it to them.
" So is she okay with the 'bold actress tag'? "I am okay and I happy with any tag as long as people are watching my film. I am okay with everything, but they should watch my films before making any comment," she says
(less)I'm ready to marry again: Mahie Gill
I am not the kind of person who will hit someone else. I can harm myself, but not the other person.
Do you empathise with Maria? I never judge anyone. Nobody in the world will know what happened between those three people.
I don't know whether she did it or not. I just go by the court's judgment.
We heard you were not comfortable kissing co-star Deepak Dobriyal. You puked, right? Not at all! The first intimate scene I did was in Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster .
I was very nervous then; I was supposed to be drunk in the scene, so I actually drank. For this film, I was less inhibited.
How bold are you in real life? I am very shy person in real life. I am not a party person and I like to stay at home.
How does your family react to your bold scenes? My brothers are very understanding, but my mother gets very upset. Someone once showed her a newspaper article about an intimate scene I had done.
For the first time she said 'why are you doing these kinds of films. You should have done a PhD and become a doctor!' I tried explaining to her that it's just a film.
Who is the mystery man in your life? I won't tell you his name. He is not from the industry, and is based in Goa.
He is very handsome and loving. We've known each other for years, but only started dating the last one and a half year.
After my first marriage went wrong, I was very scared to get into relationship. But this guy is really good.
He is there by my side whenever I need him. I feel he is the one.
So are you ready to take the plunge again? Of course I am ready to take the plunge again. Kalki got married, Chitrangada is married and has a kid and she is still so sexy.
It doesn't matter. So what's stopping you? I will do it.
I don't know when. So what's next? We shot Not A Love Story on Canon 5-D cameras.
I want to learn cinematography and photography. Some day I may just shoot a film.
That's my latest fancy. Tweet
(less)Mahie gets drunk
However, Mahie took this to an all new level for her upcoming release, Tigmanshu Dhulia's Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangstar . While shooting a critical scene in the movie, the script required Mahie to be drunk.
She was very nervous about this particular scene as she felt she couldn't pull it off authentically. So, Mahie decided to have six shots of vodka before going on to set.
Little did she know that six shots would be a shot too many. As the crew kept giving her the shot mark, before they knew it, Mahie went through the entire scene and pulled it off emphatically.
But she had to be carried back to her room. Everyone has a price to pay to get something good you know!
(less)It was easier to smooch Randeep over Deepak: Mahie Gill
The actress has shot for intimate scenes in both her upcoming films Not A Love Story and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster which has given Dev.D 's girl-next-door the bold actress tag.
"I was always aware about the kissing scenes in advance because they were clearly mentioned in the script", says Mahie. "But the directors never emphasized on it because the kiss is not the selling point of the film.
Both the films are strong on content". And was she comfortable smooching in front of the camera, considering she did it for the first time? "Of course I was initially nervous and it felt really awkward.
But when you trust your directors to shoot the scenes aesthetically, things become kind of easier". However Mahie does assert that she was more comfortable locking lips with Randeep Hooda in Saheb Biwi aur Gangster over Deepak Dobriyal in Not A Love Story .
And before you get any ideas, it has nothing to do with the hotness quotient of the costar. Mahie explains, "The smooch scene in Sahib Biwi aur Gangster was filmed towards the end of the shooting schedule.
I knew Randeep pretty well by then and we hit it off, so it was kind of easier to film that kissing sequence". But while she had already worked with Deepak Dobriyal earlier in Gulaal , it was a different story for Ram Gopal Varma's Not A Love Story .
"I had to shoot for the kissing scene with Deepak on the very first day of the shoot, so I was very nervous", admits Mahie Gill. "But then I realized at the end of the day, kissing is just like any other emotion"
(less)Ramu apologises to Mahie Gill for erotic sequences
Recalling the incident, Mahie (who seems to have a very different opinion of Ramu from what he projects) laughed, "Ramuji was very apologetic about the love making sequences. I had to reassure him it was fine.
Deepak and I were just doing our job. But Ramuji was really disturbed, almost as if he was subjecting a close relative a daughter or a sister to an uncomfortable situation.
After Deepak and I finished the love scene, he sent me a message saying sorry." For a filmmaker who likes to be known as a ladies' man and has apparently had a string of romantic involvements, it comes as a surprise to know how shy he is of love-making sequences.
Mahie maintained, "I did enquire about the torrid scenes. He explained to me that the nature of the relationship between the girl and the guy who together kill her former lover was so desperate and passionate that the impact couldn't be achieved without the acute intensity onscreen.
" She asserted that she had never done skin show before. But came to terms with Ramu's requirement.
"I think this was the first time he was directing love-making scenes. I was really surprised at how shy he was.
Contrary to his image he is quiet, withdrawn and a shy person. Certainly no ladies' man,"she said We asked Ramu about the kissing scenes in his movie, he chuckled.
"Maybe I've just grown up. Jokes apart, the intensity of the emotions between the couple is very high in the movie.
There are three long kissing scenes between Deepak Dobriyal and Mahie Gill. I have to confess I've never had couples kissing in my films before except a fleeting kiss between Abhishek Bachchan and Antara Mali in Naach.
Taking about this film, he mentioned, "It was necessary for me to show that such a thing happened (the murder) in Not Love Story because of uncontrollable emotions. I firmly believe no one is intrinsically bad.
It's just circumstances that make them do some irrational things and then they get deeper and deeper into the mess." Mahie Gill doesn't deny that she is playing the character of Maria Susairaj.
"But we've changed the character quite a bit. Maria was from Bangalore.
But my character is a Punjabi girl. We have shown how one moment of weakness and untruth actually destroyed her life and made her commit that murder," added the director.

(less)Mahie isn't aping Vidya!
. He is a great actor and one of my favourites.
Right from Masoom to A Wednesday!, Ive been following all his movies. Amazing is the word that I can use to describe him.
One of the biggest compliments that I received for Dev D came from him when he said that he liked my work. I was supposed to do another film with him titled Surmaiyee Shaam.
I had met him twice for that film. It was to be directed by Brahmanand Singh but the film isnt happening anyone.
Thank God, Ribhu cast me in Michael. I can even play an extra with Naseer Sir.
But then, Im nervous. Your character shares a romantic angle with Shah.
Isnt the comparison with Ishqiya obvious? In Michael, I play a nurse who is attached to Naseer Sir and his son. He is a widower.
There is some chemistry between the two of us though its very subtle. I dont think my role can be compared to that of Vidya Balan in Ishqiya.
Are Hindi films more open these days about exploring the romance between an older man and a younger woman? Age has nothing to do with romance. I dont know Naseer Sirs age but I think he can deliver any role given to him.
Lamhe and Black too had explored the relationship between the older man and younger woman. But yes, today, theres a lot more interest in exploring such relationships on-screen.
Films have changed, so have audiences acceptance level. Besides Michael , youve also done Dabangg.
Is it the same Anurag Kashyap connection that prompted you to accept the film? I did it for Dabanggs director, Abhinav (Anurags brother). He is a friend.
Ive been cast opposite Arbaaz Khan. Mine is just a two-scene role where I have to romance him.
Since youve been attached to films like Dev.D, Gulaal and Paan Singh Tomar, how does it feel when you do mainstream cinema? The language and acting pattern of realistic films are different from that of commercial movies.
I started off doing realistic cinema. Hence, I find it easier doing them.
PST releases in August and Im optimistic about it. Im open to doing both kinds of movies.
I want to grow as a complete actor. Both the genres have their own challenges and Im ready to try both.
Some actors claim that doing realistic movies alone isnt enough for survival since they need to maintain a certain lifestyle. Apart from the growth of an actor, does economical reasons also govern your choice of doing commerical movies? Money is important.
Thankfully, I am being paid well even in the kind of movies that I do. I am happy with the kind of money I am getting.
These are small-budget films and I am being paid according to the budget of the movie. I am not a party-goer and hence, not a high maintenance person.
I am pretty much happy with the kind of money that Im earning. Among the Bollywood heroines, who are your role models now? Among the younger lot, I think Kangna, Konkona and Vidya are good actors.
While Priyanka is very hardworking, Kareena has star appeal. When do you come down to Kolkata to shoot? Ill be in town on July 29 or July 30.
I am looking forward to my stay in Kolkata. Ive usually come down to the city for a day and have never got time to enjoy myself.
Ive some friends in Kolkata and am looking forward to enjoying Bengali cuisine too
