When Shazahn danced the night away with her rumoured beau
They still maintain that they are good friends. However, they did ask for a few passes for the music festival.
So looks like they have no qualms about being pictured or spotted together." The music festival has become one of the favourite haunts of real-life celebrity couples, who would otherwise keep their relationships under wraps.
Last year, Rana and Trisha were spotted letting their hair down at the festival. Prateik and Amy Jackson too danced their nights, grooving to the music.
Now it looks like Shazahn and Akhil are following the tradition. Adds the source, "It's too early to talk about the relationship and that's perhaps why they are being discreet about it.
" Interestingly, though she has already made her B-town debut, Akhil is yet to set foot into the industry and clearly publicity of this kind could work in his favour. Adds the source, "Akhil is actor Vinod Khanna's nephew and he will be seen in a film opposite Govinda's daughter very soon.
He and Shazahn have known each other for a while now and they are most definitely more than just good friends." Shazahn remained unavailable for comment.

(less)Get rid of social evils for independent India: TV stars
"Each time I hear the term 'azaad India' (independent India), I wonder are we really free with all the corruption and social issues eating up our society? It is only when we make a difference, when all these evils die, that I will be able to call myself and my country 'azaad'. We might be 'azaad' from all aspects but we are not 'azaad' from our minds yet," says actress Ragini Khanna, popularly known as Suhana of Star plus' show Sasural Genda Phool .
With India making rapid technological and economic advances, actor Swapnil Joshi, who is currently seen playing Vinaychand in SAB TV's show Papad Pol , rues the fact that poverty still exists in the country. "Even though we call ourselves an independent nation but till the time we don't root out evils like poverty, corruption and crime from the country, we will remain shackled.
This Independence Day, let's pledge to eradicate the same," he added. As the country is witnessing a rise in the number of honour killings being reported by media, actor Angad Hasija, popularly known as Alek of Bidaai , insists he is ready to do anything to eradicate the social evil from society.
"It is the most painful of moments when you realise that your own people, the ones you have spent your entire life with, the ones who gave birth to you and defined love, decided to stab you in the back just because you followed a certain path for yourself," he said. Angad's co-star Sara Khan adds: "Our society is still a victim of ethics and beliefs that are immoral and empty in a human world.
My relationship with my boyfriend, Ali Merchant, who belongs to my religion but is of a different caste has made the society point out a flaw that doesn't really abide by the rules set for an 'Azaad nation'." Pooja Gor, who plays the protagonist in Pratigya , points out that despite 63 years of independence there has been a tremendous rise in atrocities against women.
"In recent years, there has been an alarming rise in atrocities against women in India in terms of rapes, assaults and dowry-related murders. Fear of violence suppresses the aspirations of women," she said.
Kavita Kaushik of popular sitcom FIR feels that despite more than six decades of independence, people lack compassion and love for one another. "After so many years of celebrating freedom, people are still fighting over caste, creed and money - which I feel is a shame," she said.
Actress Divyanka Tripathi of Mrs. and Mr.
Sharma Allahabadwale, believes the feeling of patriotism that is instilled in youngsters from the time they go to school gets lost in adulthood. "It's just an observation.
The amount of patriotism we have during our school days - we fail to sustain those strong feelings as we grow old. We tend to get busy with our college, work and family," she says

(less)Death to Kasab: Ragini Khanna
For once, we cannot let Bygones be bygones, people want judiciary to give the guilty a severe punishment. Well, we cannot decide Kasab?s fate but at least can show our anger.
Thus we thought of asking some tele-celebs of what could be the severe punishment for the terrorist on this one year of terrorism. Here are some suggestions from our television actors, Ragini Khanna- He deserves strictest punishment but only by doing this it will not solve the terrorism problem.
And If I would given a chance than I will put him in a well full of man-eating animals. Hiten Tejwani- He should be beheaded like in olden times or else every one should be given a gun and allowed to shoot him till death, just like he has done with us without thinking the consequences.
Amit Tondon- I don?t think Kasab is actual culprit, instead I feel bad for him that his life is wasted and is just a kid who's made to do all this wrong deeds but if I were to punish anyone it should be the masterminds behind Kasab and the government which is still away from catching them. Lavanya Tripathi- Any punishment will be less for him.
I won?t kill him but do something bad to him like making him a retard or a handicap

(less)Real-Life Ragini, Deepika Mulls Legal Action Against Producers
While the girl was recovering from the scandal in Delhi, Ekta thought of making a film on the subject. Soon she met Deepika and incorporated her story in Ragini MMS .
Later, Deepika also signed a contract with Balaji Telefilms. Now that the promos have hit the screen, she wants to see the film before its release.
"I was shown the script and I did read it. I had no problem with it.
There is a difference between reading the script and interpreting it on screen, in a film. If I am not shown the film then I am talking to my legal adviser about it," Deepika told reporters here.
"I have told Ekta that I want to see the film. I had gone to Balaji Telefilms office and they said that the movie is not ready.
The film is releasing next week, so how is that possible," she added. "As per the contract that I have signed with Balaji I should be shown the film," she added.
The film revolves around a slyly shot video of a couple, starring Raj Kumar Yadav of Love Sex Dhoka fame and Kainaz Motivala who was seen as Taniya in Wake Up Sid . "I want to see how my character is being portrayed on screen because if there is something bad then my image will be ruined," Deepika added.
Meanwhile, Ekta has maintained that the film is 30 per cent fact and 70 per cent fiction. The movie which is said to be inspired by the 2007 Hollywood movie Paranormal Activity is slated to release on May 13
(less)I am just 23 now so... there's still time to marry: Ragini Khanna
Tejashree Bhopatkar caught up with Ragini in between shoots and had a nice chit chat about acting, life, and more. How is Ragini in real life apart from her onscreen nature? Ragini is a very mature, responsible person who likes to take her own decisions as she thinks that she is grown up enough to do so.
She is the kind of person who has a lot of patience and is independent. (Chuckles) She is also a cleanliness freak! I don't know why but I don't like dirty places, rooms, or anything around me.
Everything has to be neat and clean. Why acting as a career and not anything else? (Laughs), it just came out.
I thought why not? let me try. Actually, I have always taken part in school competitions like dancing, acting, singing, every cultural activity, and acting pleased me more so? acting.
How were your school years..
. any memorable moments? Well in school I was a geek, with two pony tails, pet of all the teachers.
In short a good student. In fact, I got only one remark in all of my life; that Ragini is a bright student.
But on other hand, I used to take part in all the annual functions and that is where I got addicted to acting. I once essayed the role of Snow White's step mother, who is very cunning, and for some reason I loved playing that part.
It's been my favourite so far. How was your college life? I was an outstanding student who always stood out of the class (laughs).
No, no, not at all. I was bright enough in college too, but then after classes was a different story.
I used to roam around the neighborhood and reach home in the evening. And as I am Bollywood freak, I used to watch at least one movie a day or sometimes if there are two releases then two movies at a stretch.
How was your television journey so far? Fantastic! And I think it's just the beginning and I've got a long way to go. I've learned a lot of things on the sets itself and the shows that I've done so far have made me responsible and knowlegeable about so many things.
..
I've learned how to handle personal relationships while juggling professional relationships, how not to let anything get in the way of my professionalism, the fact that I'll never stop learning life lessons for as long as I am in this business

It was great to get dressed up like that," she added. Ragini, who is the niece of actor Govinda, is happy to break the stereotypes with her role in the TV show, which has made her a household name but the young actress says there was a time when she struggled to land a saree-clad role.
"I am happy that I am part of an experimental show like that but there was a time during my days of struggle that I would pray to land a saree-clad girl's role," says Ragini, who plays a rich girl, who gets married into a middle-class family against her wishes. Talking about her upcoming movie, which is all set to hit theatres mid-April, Ragini says she landed the part even before signing the serial.
"I gave audition and when I saw Delhi-6 , I prayed that Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to like my audition and it happened. Working with Om Puriji was the best part.
I have seen him in all those serious roles but he is total opposite of what you see onscreen. He is a prakster and made me laugh a lot on the sets," she added
