Producer Mozez Singh picks fights with Shah Rukh and Sohail Bollywood News and Gossip
Says an insider, ” All was well at Maheep’s party at her Juhu residence. Almost as if out of the blue, Salman’s younger bro and Singh got into a tiff.
Sohail was quietly dancing in a corner with his wife and some girls when Singh walked by and passed offensive remarks on the women.” ” Initially, Khan didn’t react but when Singh grew belligerent and abusive, the short- tempered actor lost it and started shoving the younger man around.
Mozez pushed back and the argument showed signs of getting worse.” Adds the source, ” The hostess soon came over and sorted it out.
By that time, the two men had cooled down and a disgusted Khan was about to stage a walkout. Maheep made sure the two men spoke to each other and make up before they left the party.
” Elevator woes But brawlin’ Mozez hadn’t had enough. ” He decided to leave the party at around 4.
30 am and headed to the elevators. Shah Rukh Khan, Riteish Sidhwani, Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar were waiting for the lift as well.
They were minding their own business and were surprise when Singh began insulting and passing nasty remarks on King Khan.” After a while, SRK ? who isn’t quick to anger ? decided he had had enough of the taunts.
” Shah Rukh grabbed Singh by the shirt and wouldn’t let go. The two continued squabbling until Duggu, who can’t stand fights, tried pulling the two apart.
SRK’s friends pulled him away soon after.” An embarrassed Sanjay Kapoor tried pacifying his guests.
Finally, SRK was bundled into the lift with Hrithik. Later, both came down and posed for pictures.
” Initially Sohail tried to deny the story. ” Nothing at all happened.
I have met Mozez only once or twice in my life and what issue would I have with him? I would love to hear what you heard because now these rumours are getting funny.” When we told him that there were witnesses to the fight and that some people had found his act chivalrous, Khan says, ” Ya, I just told him to relax a bit but nothing as dramatic ( as a slap) happened.
But I am happy that people noticed and thought I was chivalrous.” Posted in
(less)Salman Khan celebrates Shivratri
However, he did not go to his house at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, but drove straight to the farmhouse. He is expected to celebrate Shiv Ratri with his family.
"Salman believes in Lord Shiva as much as he believes in other Gods. Last year was the first time he missed Ganpati celebrations as he was undergoing a surgery in the US for his nerve disorder and he was definitely not happy about that," said Salman's friend.
Most of the Khan family members - including brothers Sohail and Arbaaz are expected to attend the Shiv aarti at the farmhouse. "Salim Khan reached the farmhouse on Saturday.
He and Salman are preparing for the Shiv puja. "The farmhouse has a Shiva shrine.
Salim and Salman have renovated it. They have also appointed a pujari who does a small ritual every morning and also maintains the temple," said the friend.
The celebrations will also include Salman's Karjat neighbours. Around 125 villagers have been asked to join in.
After the customary fasting, there will be feasting. While the world knows about Salman's devotion to Ganpati, not many known about his fascination with Shiva.
Salim Khan's family takes Shiv Ratri as seriously as they do Iftaar. On both occasions, thalis heaped with food are distributed among the poor and sent to orphanages, old-age homes, besides friends and relatives.
However, Sallu is in no hurry to get back to the city. "Salman will stay at the farmhouse for about nine-ten days.
He will resume work only on March 9, when he starts shooting for his home-production Dabangg 2. A special set is being put up at Kamalistan (Andheri East) for the same," added the source.
A bit of R & R is just what the doctor recommended, right?

(less)Katrina and Sonakshi bury the hatchet
Later, she did a volte-face by sending messages to Kat to clear the air. At the time though, Kat did not respond.
However, it now appears Sona and Kat have decided to let bygones be bygones. It is learnt that on Friday night at the inauguration of Sohail Khan's wife Seema Khan's spa in Bandra, the two actresses hugged and made up.
What's more, Salman Khan was also present. An eye witness at the event told Mirror, "Sonakshi and Katrina went around the entire spa, sharing their views about it with each other.
They were having so much fun. In fact, a lot of eyebrows were raised looking at just how friendly they were toward each other.
" At the spa, it was as if nothing had ever happened between them. And while it is true that there has never been any open fight between the two actresses, ever since Sonakshi's big bang Bollywood debut with Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg , she and Kat have never seen eye to eye.
They have studiously avoided each other at public events. So who waved the white flag this time around? Said the eye witness, "That is not known.
It was more of a spontaneous reaction from both sides. You could say better sense prevailed.
" And while we can only guess as to what or who was the cause of the cold war between Sona and Kat, with Sallu having taken a keen interest in mentoring both of them, a friend of Katrina confirmed all that is behind them. "It is good to see the two heroines bond after a long time.
A rare thing in B-town," the friend said
(less)I thank God for all success, says Aamir Khan
"I am humbled that you all are here to wish me. My day starts with you, with your good wishes," said an overwhelmed Aamir.
He also cut a cake. "I would thank God who has given me all the success and happiness that god has showered on me in my personal life.
We were recently blessed with a kid named Azad so I am thankful to god," said the actor, dressed casually in shorts and a T-shirt. Hours before Aamir Khan turned 47 came the big news break last night.
Talaash , his psychological thriller due to release in June, has been postponed. Today, Aamir apologised to his fans for the delay.
" Talaash is very close to my heart. Earlier, we were trying to release it in January.
Then we announced it for June. Now, the date has been pushed to either November 30 or December 7.
I am sorry for this, I know my fans are waiting for Talaash ," he said. Pics: How Aamir spent his birthday "Reason behind this is the show I was doing.
The set caught fire and the entire set was destroyed. So, the show got delayed a bit.
So, I am focusing on the show, which is impacting the release date of Talaash," he added. Aamir Khan is one of the producers of the film; the others are Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
Talaash , directed by Reema Kagti, also stars Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherji. Ostensibly, the release date has been postponed keeping in mind Aamir Khan's debut on TV, also slated for June.
"Right now my life revolves around the show. My team and me are trying to do something different.
I have been working on this show for last two years. This is my life's ambitious project," Aamir said.
"I am very excited about my television debut. Usually today's day (birthday) I spend with my family, but today I will be leaving for the shooting of my television show," he added.
Given the extensive and innovative promotions which Aamir undertakes for each of his films, the reason to shift dates is credible. Or is it? Dig a little deeper.
On the other side, old rival Shah Rukh Khan is neck-deep in filming his big Diwali release - the untitled Yash Raj film with Katrina Kaif. If their first-time together on screen isn't big enough, this one is surely the clincher - master director Yash Chopra returns to direct SRK after eight years.
Their last film together was Veer-Zaara , with Preity Zinta in the female lead role. With Diwali on November 13, SRK's film will release roughly two weeks before Talaash .
Like ghost of Diwali past, when a similar situation was played out in 2008. That year Aamir's Ghajini outpaced SRK's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi .
While Ghajini became a huge blockbuster, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi , though a blockbuster, didn't inspire haircuts and chiseled bodies. Many said at the time that smart promotions are what worked in Ghajini 's favour - including movie theatre staff sporting Aamir's signature cut from the film.
Pics: Aamir Khan turns 47 Will 2012 see yet another slickly-promoted Aamir Khan film hog the limelight and the box-office and the awards (though Aamir steadfastly shuns them)? We'll know in a few months. Till then, there are huge numbers of his fans counting down the days.
Aamir Khan fans are going ballistic on Facebook and Twitter. "1st reaction to Talaash delay news - "Shit Happens!" :x, says a tweet.
"TV killed the movie star," says another. Others say SRK will be upstaged (we can't use the real word here, so think of the extreme form) by Aamir and Aamir by Salman's Dabanng 2 ! Clearly, fans are watching the moves of the biggest Khans of the industry! Meanwhile, with each passing year, Aamir looks younger and says that it is all because of his parents' genes.
"There is no secret behind this. I would only thank my 'ami' and 'abbajaan' who has given me these genes.
Whatever we are, it is given by our parents. I try to live a healthy life," he said.
